you could add a piston which pushes the wheight from left to right, so you can adjust it and find the sweet spot. other than that you`ll have to do some finetuning
@XxMegamonsterxX sure, whatever.
i'm not into anime and i think everyone is responsible for theyr own stuff
what really brings my blood to aboil is that people ruin this once wholesome comunity. if you want to get rid of anger, good for you. but please do it on reddit, they cant be helped anyway
@Devarite well kinda, i look whats goin' on here from time to time, i've still got a buttload of finished stuff to release but icouldn't find the motivation just yet
@NeonEndo thats a nice concept, but i was looking into making flak that could be controled by an AI... sadly i could not figure out how to make an AI turret aim at the player
@DankleYankle
Calculating is simple:
P=M/f
P is the power of the engine (the value we want to calculate)
M is the planes mass (e.g. 392718 lbs)
f is the power of the engine. You can find it out by clicking the engine in the partlist.
The power of the vtol engine is 13490 lbf
i recommend using wheigtless fuel
if you just need the parts to be connected, you can set the conection point (0,1,2,3,4,5....) to any number you want, it wont matter. if using rotators, 0 is always the rotating side.
also, multiple parts can be connected to just one side of an item.
e.g. you can connect as many parts to the front of a fuselage as you want
you have got 4 numbers there. the Id of part a and b and the connections.
you can find out the id of a part by looking into the xml, maybe press ctrl+f to search so you know wich parts you want to connect.
the other numbers define at wich point the connections are.
e.g. a fuselage has 6 (0,1,2,3,4,5) 0 being the front.
these numbers are in the same order as part a and be (meaning that the last number is the one for B...)
as the col moves closer to the com, the airplane becomes more maneuverable.
less ft/lbs (wheigt per wingsurface) increases both maneuverability and stability.
theres an odd thing in simplePlanes, when you use a control surface the effect it creates in calculated for the middle of the wing, meaning that if the middle of the wing is on or on front of the COM, the pitch has hardly any effect or is inverted.
the last thing are the engines. the COT should be in the same level as the COM, else your plane will try to push up- or downwards.
@GOZZbro i guess gyros are not an option here?
you could add a piston which pushes the wheight from left to right, so you can adjust it and find the sweet spot. other than that you`ll have to do some finetuning
good luck!
@Embo I don´t either, but thats why were here isn´t it :)
@xboxseriesx Well I´m PilotOfFuture and for the other question...
Thats dificult actually, i kinda lost intrest in uploading and was hung up on other stuff, but now i´m back :D
@DeltaBravoSix Glad you like it :D
@jamesPLANESii *also i added it, although we will be the last people to ever read this xD
@jamesPLANESii dud this is almost 2 'nd a half years old, how did you even get here?
@RailfanEthan done. thank you
@XxMegamonsterxX sure, but it creates a hostile environment for people who have these profile pictures
@XxMegamonsterxX sure, whatever.

this definetly ranks as the most hateful post i've seen here in a long time. please keep such stuff to reddit
@Draco777 interesting, simpleplanes changed the inverting system a few years back
all you have to do is to invert the left rotator, have fun!
@Devarite it's really been quite some time, but i got into metalworking and electronics and it really kills alot of time. It's totally worth it tho
i'll try to release some stuff if i've got time next weekend and by that i mean if i don't watch random youtube videos for 23 hours a day
@Devarite well kinda, i look whats goin' on here from time to time, i've still got a buttload of finished stuff to release but icouldn't find the motivation just yet
my ancient tablet does not like the part count, but i certainly do!
the landing gears look really detailed, though they are soft on low physics
and it just exploded after a few minutes 😎
@503rdAirborneSoldier long time no see!
i'd like to see it, can you go crazy eith details?
@simpleplanesmaster so long ago...
i dont know how to mod, though
@AirplaneMechanic that might be, i dont really know too much about tanks
@NeonEndo thats a nice concept, but i was looking into making flak that could be controled by an AI... sadly i could not figure out how to make an AI turret aim at the player
@DankleYankle cool, tag me when youre ready

@ImmaChargingMahLazor for the camera you need xml modding, putting a missile on a detacher is easy, just attach it
@ImmaChargingMahLazor hmm, it still works for me
@ImmaChargingMahLazor it does
@NeonEndo it already uses guided missiles wich cant maneuver, havnt tried impact cams tho
@FalconGT12 thanks
@FalconGT12 i think youre expecting too much, its just a static thing meant to block cars in multiplayer...
its not that cool after all
am i just having deja vu or did this happen a few months ago, too?
last time i think it was a plane, but also made in SP
@Texasfam04 idk, its 7 balls with a diameter of .125...
i have pretty much no idea what one would use this for
@FalconGT12
-stop the car
-press 6
-slowly drive away and deactivate 6
@Boatrider it looks actually fairly good considering the low partcount
sounds interesting,
you can upload pictures at pasteboard.co so i understand what you mean
@Simpleplaner656 sadly they have fixed the feature that made this work, sorry
@robloxweponco thanks
@GhostSquadren it doesnt work, sorry
@Simpleplaner656 ok, ill try
@Firewolf247 try it
@Firewolf247 sure, ill do it as soon as i can

why do i need ears?
@lliamlegoguy very cool
@JordenMillar yeah ik but whats your question
@JordenMillar idk, what do you mean?

your projects look really cool btw
pretty cool idea, i think you should make a uservoice post!
@destroyerP you have to download mp! it's awesome!
and unless i'm on it works without lags.
hey @WNP78, can you make a mod that shows you the koordinates of COM, COL AND COT? i think that'd be really helpful, sometimes. thanks in advance
@ColonelStriker
@PilotOfFuture sorry, aint had no time today, i'll try to do it tomorrow
@ColonelStriker gonna do it tomorrow
