You'll want to clamp01() both of those booleans you've got there. Also, in the expression ammo(Torpedo) = 4*0.5, the *0.5 is actually multiplying the 4.
@SirCarrot I'd recommend staying with the 7, or look for something with lots of single thread performance. I understand this is not for just SP, but if you get a mid range CPU with good single thread performance (SP is single threaded), then you will get good performance in SP and good multi-threaded performance for anything else. I think the stock cooler will be okay (the Wraith Stealth Cooler).
Just use part variable outputs from the "physics wings". Output the variable LiftForce and use that (with some multiplier like VariableName * 0.001) in the rotators for the wing. Make sure to use the right physics wing for the right wing rotators etc. (right for right and left for left)
Use control bases. I'm not going to explain how to set them up, all I'll say is control bases need variables. For example, in the control base put "Test" and then make a variable by that name. In the Test variable, put whatever you would put in the rotator (i.e. clamp01(Pitch) or something). For the default inputs like Pitch, Roll etc, you don't need to use a variable.
@SirCarrot The CPU cooler seems okay then. I think a Ryzen 7 would be acceptable, so I'll say if your budget allows for it go for a better CPU but if you can't the 7 is okay.
Seems alright, for SP I'd recommend going for the best CPU you can get (I have an i9 11900k with my 3060 and it's the perfect combo), and I'd recommend having a single 2 TB or 1 TB SSD instead of two. There also seems to be a missing CPU cooler. I'd recommend something from Noctua, they make great air coolers. Other than that it all seems good.
@Bo1233 The no mods file is currently 1864 parts, however this can be reduced to approximately 1600 with the removal of details, and further reduced to approximately 200 (currently, not including cockpit) with the complete removal of all parts aside from physics-affecting parts.
When I first looked at this I thought this was a random user asking other users for difficult FT code, but you're the one doing it! This sounds interesting.
@Deandash I believe there is a confusion. The engine sound is centered around not the player camera, but one of the three movable unity cameras placed at Xinshan. Video of issue.
@X99STRIKER Plar/Plare
Or a Cane/Clane
idk
@Skotch There's still a bit to do.
@Brendorkus Yes.
Making a 1.11 version of this plane would be interesting. I've made a few tutorials on making custom wings so maybe that will help.
+1I remember when we used to work somewhat together. Welcome back! (I used to be Kweed10).
+1Oh yeah this exists

+1@SirCarrot That CPU is alright, it's all about what you can fit in your budget so if you can fit the 7 then that's good.
The 1.11 update and the 1.12 update would like to introduce themselves.
+1@VibesGamer Sure!

+1YES
@Isuckatsimpleplanes Approximately 1500-2000 for the mods version, and 2000-2500 for the no mods version.
@Memenator1231 Click random stuff for a few hours until you manage to start the engines.
This sounds like a great idea. Would they be fully functional or semi-functional? (that comment looks like one of those bot comments lol)
+1That cockpit looks great!
+2@BaconAircraft Thanks!

+2@BuyOxicleanDetergent Thanks! I sure will!
+1@TRD Read some information in the forum post and also part 1 of the video updates. I'm making a cargo no mods version.
+1@TRD I do, but even that has its limits lol.
@TRD They aren't (or I haven't reached the limit lol)
+1@TRD Thanks!
@TRD It uses the same seats as this mod, I just assembled lots of those into one part
+1@Blueshift Thanks!
@Bo1233 I'm not sure what you mean.
@TRD just 1600 so far (modding is fun, 1 part fuselage go brrr)

There are literally wind settings in the game.
@IceCraftGaming @Bellcat @Tordboi88 This link works
+1@Tordboi88 @IceCraftGaming wait I never checked my own link lol... one sec
+1Modtools
+1Sorry, I literally have no idea. My struts are not actually angled, I just added some fuselages to make it look like they are.
@MrShenanigansSP Yes there is. The SWL-120 uses it. It's complicated. But it works.
+4um wat
Even though it doesn't work, the detail on this thing is crazy! Well done!

clamp(Yaw - Brake, -1, 1)
@Jbear625 For yaw and brake you would want
+1clamp(Yaw + Brake, -1, 1)
.Yes, just use a bit of funky trees.
@Deandash I believe there is a confusion. The engine sound is centered around not the player camera, but one of the three movable unity cameras placed at Xinshan.
Video of issue.
@FeatherWing Exactly, a relatively high end one, almost at full use with a simple plane. This mod is intensive.
+1Just keeping tweaking the struts until they work. That's how I did my landing gear.
I just stumbled upon this when searching "PlaneFlightX" in the search function.
+1Well done!
