@Randomplayer The final plane will actually be heavily modded so it runs smoothly, but there will be a no mods cargo version with less overall details.
@Randomplayer Well actually because of mods there won't be a true part count, however I estimate the total number of SP parts in the 3D models to be over 20,000, and the final part count will be 2000 parts, most of that being the cockpit.
@ToeTips Fun fact: If I were to assemble a no mods version with a full interior, my computer would implode. Instead I get away by building stuff in different files, then modding it.
@HuskyDynamics01 Possibly. I'm now making physical rivets because labels don't export correctly to 3D models.
I'm going to mod all this so it will turn into about 30 parts max instead of 600.
@jamesPLANESii This feels like a bot post since the user joined immediately before posting this forum. It also just sounds like a header post for the chain bot comments which say good things about some person or thing.
Also as a YouTuber myself, I just do my own thing, although I put in some effort to improve my videos.
@KingHandspider I guess the whole system is thousands.
An actual data storage for a 6 character string is two variables. You need some additional code to handle the input device, and a stacked multiselector to display different characters.
While it is possible to achieve ultimate realism if you combine over 2 years of hard work with a quality airport, you will struggle to run this smoothly on even the best computer with today's hardware. That being said, SP is a good game to build planes. If I wanted to fly a complex airliner, I would probably get myself a flight simulator. Instead I've spent over 2 years building a plane with flight simulator realism, while learning a lot about complex aircraft systems along the way.
@Ilovewillow The HUDs and PFDs are heavily modified versions of existing parts. They use many aircraft system variables such as the autopilot, and would be extremely difficult to upload on their own.
You can find the original PFD here, and the original HUD here.
Tags were a good idea. You posted teasers, and users who wished to be tagged said T. Asking for tags wasn't even a purpose at all. Autotags, however, are kind of a spammy/attention-ish-grabbing/upvote-begging-ish idea. There may be some innocence to the concept but it's kind of gotten out of hand.
@jamesPLANESii Do you happen to have a copy of this mod? It just came to my attention that I don't have this mod saved and I'm trying to get it.
Thanks in advance!
@HuskyDynamics01 SPVR is a standalone game, which is just the VR aspect. SimplePlanes by itself is not VR. Buying both unlocks VR in the base game, allowing you to enter VR right after building something. You only need SPVR to fly in VR.

I made a multiselector that converts numbers to characters, but it's really long and complicated and has thousands of variables.
+1No.
Imgur doesn't work as a file host for SP, use imgbb.com or postimages.org.
