Interesting. I added a couple of tossable Booms to complete the set. Too bad my ipad was having hard time loading the creation and simulating the results. :)
A nice plane! I was curious tosee how it performs with just engine and to my surprise it spirals out of control as soon as one of the propellers is jammed/engine destroyed.
I wasn't sure whether the three rear propellers per side would do anything good so I tried removing them. Apparently they do something else that slowing the puston engine down. Still, somewhat underpowered but fun.
Oh the power of xml editing I assume. But man, I've never seen the USS Beast fleet disappear that fast. Only thing I built was a simple raft and placed the plasma cannon on it. Thanks!
It's cool to be able to start the truck and drive around the islands. You can also return onboard, but the random stuff on the deck makes it a bit difficult to reverse in there. :)
I actually remember there being at least two different models: one was a red jet which could be launched with a rubber band launcher and another a WW II fighter which had a free spinning propeller.@jorisan
Might do that someday! I've uploaded my torpedo boat Blue Whale which should carry this launcher without a problem. Using an unguided weapon against moving and hostile targets might be a bit challenging, too. @Weaverfish
Wow, I wouldn't have guessed SP actually simulates airflow around engines and makes creations like this to work. For example you can but a propeller engine inside a closed box and it still makes the plane fly. @mightyscab
Thanks for the offer @landspeedcreator! I'll consider a modded engine when I come up with a vehicle that can benefit from the extra power without breaking up :)
This one had (concealed) wings at some point in development. Even wings would provide softer landings I thought leaving them would make this car a little less a car. It's the same thing with engine power: if I needed more I would need to use plane engines (or mod but I can't do that). @Oni789
Funny idea! However, the pilot's arm broke off at like 1100 knots... oh well.

Um, how do Infernos exit the plane?
What a novel idea! Next up: a flying spoon, a pasta scoop and a pair of bbq tweezers! No?
Thanks for the upvote, @MAHADI!
Invisible landing gear? It's faaast and I'm confident it could sink a destroyer or two with it's cannons if I tried long enough.
It can make a full stop and turn around in it's tracks! This might be an advantage in a dogfight...

Cool, but do the rear shock absorbers do anything? They hardly seem to be moving at all.
Thanks, @BogdanX!

Thanks for insight! @Alienbeef0421
A solid performer! Four engines looks kinda overkill in such a small plane. Well, how did you take the pic #2? :)

I don't believe it's your first car. :)
By pressing "Gear". :) @JayAr
Oh. Wow. The first VTOL in SP that even I can fly without crashing!
Shall we see this being used in a car? @EasternDragon
Hmm, I dont know where did the missiles go... only one was heading towards the target (4 mls) but failed to hit. Still a nice plane.
Thanks for the upvote! @RAF1

Thank you, Q. Is owner's manual in the glove box?
Cool, but runs a bit slow on mobile.
Me likes! Quite high-tech.
Umm, it disintegrated mid-flight. Would need a really good slo-mo video to troubleshoot what went wrong.
Looks nice!
Thanks for the new version!

Wo-hoo, thanks! @FilenotFound
Thanks for the clarification. I understood the principle of operation right then. What I don't quite get is the number of parts... @mightyscab
Thanks, man! @Testin123

Yikes, this is biiig! Difficult to land on because there's no speed indicator and I think the plane is missing proper brakes too. ;)
I bet it would explode to pieces but unfortunately it's not mobile friendly so I can't test that.
Soo many bolts and struts and so much iron!

I thought the deadline was Friday 21th but it says Friday 19th down there. Anyway, I posted mine.
Lol I just made exactly the same modification to the original to make it easier to try to hit those Ice Base missile launchers.
Reminds me of those stryrofoam planes you could buy from a grocery store in the 90's.
What, not mobile friendly? I'm curious to know what's inside...
That's magic your using to make it work!
This one doesn't even have rear wheelwells so you better try to keep clear of the wheels if you're sittingin the back. :)
Brutal but effective.
Maybe the plane could benefit from better air brakes? It needs a lot of runway to stop.

Nice you like it! I already started experimenting with another suspension design for the front end, hoping to make it more robust. @KeX0609
