  • Basic steam train 6.3 years ago

Hey dude, can you publish some giant wheels for me? Street style, 50% width, 5 size. Scale it to 1,1.35,1.35 for me. I’d publish it myself but I already uploaded 3 today so yeah. Thanks man!

  • High Colossus Steam Train 6.3 years ago

Also I only have the engine and tender and it already weighs a million pounds :) @Kalanimcd

  • High Colossus Steam Train 6.3 years ago

I'll make the train on IOS then publish it temporarily, then I can download it on PC, add the smoke trails, then delete the original and publish the new one. Sound good? @Kalanimcd

  • High Colossus Steam Train 6.3 years ago

Welp, I’m building another train. Any tips of massive wheels and drive arms? @Kalanimcd

  • Nuke 6.3 years ago

Got the PC version and Overload :) @EagleRider

  • High Colossus Steam Train 6.3 years ago

@Kalanimcd I am officially on the PC version of SimplePlanes :D

  • High Colossus Steam Train 6.3 years ago

Did you use car engines on the post I commented on?@Kalanimcd

  • mcd inc 370 loco move 6.3 years ago

    Did you use Car Engines?

  • High Colossus Steam Train 6.3 years ago

I found one of the trains but unfortunately I can’t get it because it uses a mod I don’t have. I always used a cleaver for smokestacks so I didn’t need to use a mod. When I get SP on the pc I will try it out @Kalanimcd

  • High Colossus Steam Train 6.3 years ago

I don’t and unfortunately I’m on iOS so that may be a bit of a problem. I may get it on PC eventually but for now I'll just use Yeager Airport. I might upgrade the engines to J90s just for the speed but for now I’m satisfied. Thanks for the recommendation though! @Kalanimcd

  • High Colossus Steam Train 6.3 years ago

Thanks! It took a while to make, especially starting out the body of the locomotive. Also, I’m not sure if you noticed, but when the train gets moving, the drive wheels aren’t moving at all. Also I was going to make each car have 8 wheels but I was trying to keep the part count down. I might make another train eventually, but I’m gonna keep it at this one for now :) @Kalanimcd

  • Luxor/LearJet-45 [GTAV] 6.3 years ago

Very impressive. It’s capable of temporary vertical flight and also near-supersonic speeds at FL300. Nice job!

  • PurPLe SheP 6.3 years ago

Use modded cleavers for his farts. You can get them on pretty much any of my bombs except the Tsar

  • Nuke 6.3 years ago

Someone should make that in simple planes. Purple Shep on a ladder dropping six crocodiles on two small villagers @EagleRider

  • Nuke 6.3 years ago

Have you seen the one where this happens:

Uncle Failboot: It’s Daddy pink sheep day. Do you know what that means?

Purple Shep: THAT PURPLE SHEP SHOULD CLIMB ON A LADDER, AND DROP CROCODILES ON TWO SMALL VILLAGERS

    (Silence)

    Failboot: NO! What??? Are— what?

It’s called "SURPRISING DADDY PINK SHEEP" @EagleRider

  • Nuke 6.3 years ago

I suppose that’s true. Also have you ever seen the YouTube channel "PurpleShep"? It’s the channel for anyone who needs to break all their ribs laughing :) @EagleRider

  • Nuke 6.3 years ago

I might get it on PC, only problem is the $$$ @EagleRider

  • Nuke 6.3 years ago

There’s PC/Mac, Android, and Steam Workshop, but none for iOS @EagleRider

  • Nuke 6.3 years ago

I’m using an iOS device so I can’t

  • Nuke 6.3 years ago

Yeah that's true. It may be big but it only weighs around 37,000 pounds (only? Lol). There are way bigger bombs out there. First thermonuclear bomb weighed more than most houses. Also, here’s an idea for a bomb: Explosive power of 3 cleavers; size, shape, and ID of a Boom 50; weight of a Blasto BFE300. I’d do it myself but I don’t have XML :( @EagleRider

  • Nuke 6.3 years ago

I like the nuke! There is only one problem — this bomb is incredibly massive. This bomb is even larger than the Tsar Bomba, which the plane could hardly hold. While that isn't really important here, it’s still something to point out. Otherwise, I like it!

Pretty good for a 1920s piece of trash car!

  • Extremely Basic Steam Train 6.4 years ago

I was going to do that but I was trying to figure out a regulation system that was slightly realistic but fuselages wouldn’t have allowed it so I didn’t do it. I'm definitely using fuselages next time @e1theoriginalguy

  • Extremely Basic Steam Train 6.4 years ago

Though to be honest it was probably easier to run my 60 ton battleship, which I may release someday @AchuTMM

It was extremely laggy and it crashed me several times, but I could actually get it going pretty fast. @AchuTMM

Maybe not quite a Nuke, but it’s still better than Kim Jong Un's missile! @ProjectTank

  • New Ideas 6.4 years ago

The power of VTOL engines is spread evenly throughout all the nozzles and RCNs on the aircraft. Regarding the fuel problem, two thirds of the weight of my ICBM comes from fuel. Recently a new problem has developed where it randomly detonates 10 seconds after liftoff. I’m going to try fixing it now @randomusername

  • New Ideas 6.4 years ago

The ICBM actually works okay. As I predicted, the weight keeps the speed down. I'm going to need to use some powerful VTOL engines for steering because that thing might as well be sitting on the ground, the stability it has. I still need to add fins :) @randomusername

  • New Ideas 6.4 years ago

I’ve completed the basic body of the ICBM. It is massive, weighing almost 400,000 pounds. I decided to use VTOL for steering and a modded BFE150, but due to the extreme weight, it will still keep slower than a million MPH. The missile is extremely stable but it is hard to lift the nose, understandably. @randomusername

  • New Ideas 6.4 years ago

I’ll be sure to do that. I’ll also have some for steering. I won’t have control surfaces, but I’ll still have fins for stability. @randomusername

I’m thinking about hiding the VTOL engines inside the fuselage, which will be circular and 6 across. The nozzles/RCNs can be placed either on the main BFE150s at the base or hidden inside the body. I’m praying it works @randomusername

  • New Ideas 6.4 years ago

The idea behind the RCN is actually the nozzles that steer spacecraft.

I’m currently building an ICBM, and I’ve learned how to make a primary set of engines for low stratospheric flight, then a secondary set of engines for thermospheric flight. I’m still working on tweaking it, plus arming it. I’m using the same small cleaver design I used in my missile earlier today. Thanks for the suggestions! @randomusername

  • New Ideas 6.4 years ago

I suppose I could try to make an ICBM. The thing about an ICBM is that it goes up into space to conserve fuel, and most engines lose power at 90,000 feet, leaving about 210,000 feet to go. There’s also the problem of powerful engines and holding enough fuel while also having a powerful explosive onboard.

If you can find a super fast and insensitive cleaver, I’d like to know so I can use it for the engine. If there’s a very powerful explosive, I’d also like to know so I can use it for the nuclear bomb. I’d prefer they were lightweight. I’ll be searching :)

    Thanks for the idea! @randomusername

  • Tsar Bomba 6.5 years ago

Arming the bomb was actually not really bad. In creation, I narrowed the body to 0.5 and attached several "plugs" to it. These plugs were just small fuselage blocks with either 8 explosives or a gyroscope attached. These plugs could connect to each other so size was not an issue. After attaching them, I widened the bomb to this. As of right now, I am experimenting with the width of the weapon. Thanks again! @TheSarge

  • Tsar Bomba 6.5 years ago

Thanks for the feedback! I’m new at this stuff so it'll take me some practice, but I intend to make better creations ASAP!
