Still though, only 4.5%? Damn.
Get the Steam version.
Steam has an overlay, where you can use a Steam browser to open SimplePlanes.com. If you have SimplePlanes.com in a Steam browser with the game open, when you download a plane, it automatically appears in game.
Waffles.
If you compare toaster waffles to legit pancakes, that's unfair. Legit waffles have a better texture and flavor AND literally have built in giant syrup wells.
@CoolPeach Ooh okay. I'm guessing SenSkysh uses some weird imperfect way to approximate ballistics. Definitely a problem for naval guns
That must be why I had problems making my railgun work without proxy detonation
@CoolPeach When I used SenSkysh's with the cannon box checked for my AH-1G's 40mm it worked fine
Granted, I don't know what it's doing to calculate the bullet drop
It is possible! :)
There is also a way to add proximity detonation by calculating the time it takes for the shell to reach the target using distance and muzzle velocity. Guyfolk has FT for this on his Strike Wyvern if you want to try reverse-engineering it.
@gkgur Yeah, it's all good :)
When I started doing alternate loadouts, I started doing a lot of research on hardpoint compatibility and launch rails, etc.
Oh hey I didn't think my posts would start getting grandchildren
Fun fact: If you want to mount AIM-9's to the pylon station 3/7, you need the small pylon (the same one on station 2/8) coupled with an LAU-128 rack. The medium and large size pylons aren't for missiles afaik.
@temporaryplanetester Yep! You need to do this individually for each turret. Theoretically you can have as many as you want. For turrets facing backwards, make sure you set the start heading to 180.

Take a seat, young aircraft
+2@Ded I've been looking up specific racks and launchers (MER-7, TER-7, TER-9A, LAU-128, LAU-7, etc.), we're both cringe nerds :v
b r a p
+1puts 300 BLK into a 5.56 AR
+1@ElevatorEnthusiast747 double check your connections
Resizing fuselages shifts the whole plane and non-connected parts won't move with it
@Ded Ah, got me on the designation there.
Glad you like the Phantom so far!
M a p / M i s s i o n E d i t o r
+3Idk how hard that would be to add though
@FirstFish83828 Yes and I'm kinda surprised
I have never seen an aircraft that looks so slick normally but so chonky orthographically
+5Spytation

@HuskyDynamics01 13. Take it or leave it

@asteroidbook345 The variable part is technically optional, but it makes the FT easier to access for later
+1What spreadsheet do you use?
shoot dang
+1It has 8 legs
+1Its like a cursed transformer
@Yourlocalhuman In step 4, you set the limits for the rotation with Left/Right/Up/Down Angle in the spreadsheet

+2Please no T's in the comments. This is a tutorial and I don't want comments related to the tutorial to get pushed down by unnecessary stuff.
@TRD Maybe. Sounds like a fun side project. I don't know if they use the Block 52 specifically though
+2@klm747klm747 Kinda? That was an F-16A though
+1Just in time for Christmas! Now Santa can avoid radar detection while dropping presents
+2I can imagine this guy walking you through the tutorial
+11Huh. Didn't know there was a SAR version of this airframe
+2"Is only business."
+1Except it literally is business
@OUGHTO I imagine not ALL of them were like this so its probably aight

@Freerider2142 Thanks a bunch!

+2@ZeroWithSlashedO F-2A not sure. I'd have to make it from scratch since it is actually quite different.
+1@TheCommentaryGuy is that a Stroke 3 reference?
+1tar wunder???
+2@WolfHunter9111 Indeed!
+3@Sparky6004 Those gears were an absolute pain but they came out really well I think. If you look at the FT in the gear rotors it gets pretty ugly
