You have to keep some collateral for those who submitted on time to keep things fair. The only point of contention is with what SkyJay has... He did make the entire plane on time, he just wants a video.
That's said, for Windshifter and Toetips, it makes complete sense. Both of whom made changes to the descriptionAfter the deadline. This is a problem because the description was very clearly a criteria of the challenge.
@Rb2h there is another very similar case like that with Skyjaythefirst, who has completed quite literally everything but is waiting on a teaser video which he wants to make to upload it.
@Rb2h I had mentioned somewhere priorly already that the aircraft was well and ready during the deadline and had been submitted as an unlisted to me directly. He will have a few points deducted as penalty for uploading it public late.

If you do decide to coming back, make it a successor and I'll give you 20 upvotes, or don't, and not get the reward. Tag me if you ever do complete it tho... To be honest, what would be much cooler is letting players create a custom tag for challenge winners. Instead of just points, you get a badge of honor that maybe looks cool. Even better if the challenge makers themselves get to design the badge

The most massive let down is people, except for toetips, didn't realise that you can start with a manifold you already had before the challenge. You'd just loose a few innovation points but the way that works, you can cap them out and pass the point limit by enough number of innovations that it doesn't actually matter xD
(There is someone else who did have something ready before hand and will be submitting soon, but I'll keep it confidential till they release it.)
@Karroc9522 there are more challenges coming. I was really happy with the success and reach of these one, even though so far there is only a staggering 8 successors (despite 10000 downloads)
@ToeTips don't worry, someone else already did. In fact, even contenders are helping each other. I don't think screenshots a re big enough collaboration to count as a collab.
@ToeTips truth is, were already delayed by 3 days... But let's see... If there is large demand, then I might consider late submissions with a little point deduction
