@LieutenantSOT The main Idea of the build needs to stay, such as the fuselage or engine location, stuff like wing shape, landing gear, decals, etc are fine for anyone to mess with.
If you open the fine tuner mod in game (its available in iOS), and disable the "Scale only selected part(s)", then scale down, it will make the entire build smaller, so you can download it.
This is what SP ship builders commonly use (I've talked with a few), they make their boat small, then just scale it up when its done.
If you already know about this and choose not to use it, then don't bother reading this comment.
Quick thing for everyone, rewards will be temporarily postponed (no exact date), I'm sick and too tired to give rewards right now.
Some of you might have gotten fractions of your rewards, those will resume once I feel better.
@11qazxc yeah, sorry, but 1,000 G's will kill you.
You could probably fix that by replacing every bone in your body with titanium and use carbon fiber braces to hold joints in place, not to mention having to essentially glue your skin together to make folds large enough to clip to your bones.
Sorry If you all are not happy with the results, I am planning tournaments for the future (I have a helicopter one coming that really seems like fun), this is my first time and i learned how people can get around rules. So future tournaments will have more sound rules, such as limits on XML numbers, clearer descriptions, more extreme testing, etc.
Most of these planes I barely even tested, just took em on a test flight and that's really it, so how powerful some aircraft were surprised me a little too.
Like I said earlier, this tournament had very basic rules, so i gave a pretty hands off approach to what you can and cannot do, I thought if one person can use superweapons, then everyone can, making it fair, what I didn't think of was that some were going for looks and realism than deadliness, and I apologize.
I look forward to seeing you in future tournaments, and I hope you all had some fun!
So! Here it is, the day of the tournament.
1:00 PM CST will be when the tournament starts, if you want to watch, then you can be there.
There will be a forum post showing what place everyone got (Including links to each airplane). So the forum might take a little time to make.
@AuroraPolaris ok, since its pivotal to the function of the aircraft, you're in.
I just don't want useless mods like jet heat haze to clog up where my mods are.
@AuroraPolaris you can make an account if you want, but I can enter your name if you dont, if you look on challonge, over half I entered in.
Making an account will just make it so you know when you and your opponent are fighting, when the tournament has started, etc, nothing important for winning.
Alright! I unpinned all of my comments to make it a little less crowded, and the important stuff will be compiled here.
Due date for aircraft is April 16th, at 9:00 PM CST!
Due date to enter into the tournament is April 16th, before 9:00 PM CST!
The event will be streamed on Twitch, and done live on Challonge!
Only 1 plane can be entered into the tournament per player!
These are just the base rules, and any other rules can be asked.
For any existing players, no rules have changed, I just want to clean the comments up a bit.
@11qazxc I mean it looks different, it looks more like a missile than a plane.
Don't worry, I cracked it open to make sure if at least could be defined as an aircraft, and I see how you made it.
@GeneralWilbur sure
@11qazxc
Sure
I'm worried people wont quite understand what i mean by renovation, so here's a BASIC example of an idea

Good work!
Good work!
@OPaiTaOn Please make it a successor of this challenge, if you cant do that, tag me in the comments
@AuroraPolaris both are fine!
@SyntheticL Was that a new rule the mods added? I used to see those pass it on challenges everywhere but they magically stopped a few months ago.
apparently not a lot of people like it...meh, I'll leave it up anyway
A real Aussie would slap a kangaroo on there as well.

@RomanoMilos Thanks, yours still looks insanely good
way better than mine
@Technodium It has a special sound to it, basically the engine, a prop, and a helicopter rotor smushed into one, give it a more diesel sound.
ah...yes...the majestic "duck"
Juts look at the Bush Plane elevators, copy paste

1,000Gs would NOT be fun

@Yesthisismynewusername if you're saying its the same as version 1, you are mistaken
@Yesthisismynewusername same thing as...
Though, can you make a version without the mods?
good work!
looks really good!
@Madmaximus there should be a search bar in challonge, look up SimplePlanes, and find the one created by me.
@Madmaximus in order to watch you need to login or signup
@Souka as long as its semi realistic, like no jet engines going the speed of light or wing guns with 400,000 rpm
@Madmaximus yeah
Here
There may be an issue with the VTOL nozzles where one side is reversed, a mk. 2 will come out with that fixed and more upgrades.

@Hiiamhere ah ok
@11qazxc its...different...but it looks and works really good!
@AAAagent7 I cant see the plane, do [what you want it to say] (link) minus the space between.
for example My Tournament
not sure what the description means, but looks good!
