@TheSolarFlare I really wanna hear what he would say or intro, like, "Ahh simpleplanes, a game where you make planes by placing blocks, adding wings, and making them fly. sounds simple enough right? then he goes on a tangent on how the community makes complex stuff that are not planes Simple planes isn't really a game where you can discover much lore when you look at it at the surface, Just a few islands with small airports and some military stuff here and there..."
@Thunderhawk Thanks! PID stands for proportional, integral, derivative. I can't really explain well but you can search PID controller in sp or in google, basically it's a feedback controller and it can be pretty reliable when tuned properly.
nut HAHAAAA I've been waiting for this and dang is it worth every second! I literally almost chocked and had a heart attack or a stroke when I saw that announcement and read those beautiful words "SPVR - Fuselage slice". yes! we'll soon be able to save so much parts with this
@An2k I'm not really sure why but because of how the PID works, it can't climb steep angles up to 15-25 degrees (basically the PitchAngle divisor in the ft code)
@MiGEater One who intends is a fool, one who stumbles upon it in his recommends and sees a mild and censored example and yet still has to bleach his eyes out is a victim.

I don't really recommend doing this because most of tv manufacturers don't think of their tv eating customers (mostly because they are few nowadays) and so most of those TVs are probably not edible nor at least made of non toxic ingredients. Still though, you might find a bage on some TVs that indicates that tv is edible or at least made of non toxic ingredients, though I must warn you that completely edible TVs are rare and valuable and so a lot of those sold online are likely scams so be careful.
As for if your pee will taste different, I have little idea as I have mentioned that edible or non toxic TVs are hard to aquire and so I haven't tasted one yet.
@TirpitzWantsPlanes yeah kinda same but I guess you can't blame them since ttte was pretty much terrible for a long time and to add to that some people decided to make some creepy pasta stuff and then memed it so yeah
Have an option between local or global coordinates/directions when nudging. It could really help with panelling or when you want to kinda enlarge something panelled without actually scaling it or something
That reliable switching from pure manual aim to target tracking feature costed me 3 hours and a headache so it'd be nice if anyone gives an upvotes so I can get my predecessor points lol
@SkyBoogie1the1oringle Yes but I play SP for it's "amazing" physics, the fact that it is a game about planes, it's community, and it's price. (jokes aside, can anyone please recommend me a teain sim that's not expensive/free and has derailment physics. I promise I won't forget about sp lol)
I have an Idea for semi-hollow too! Those should have a slant, a fraction of how much of a fuselage there is (the semi hollow we are talking about), and the offset or twist of that fraction at each end or side of a fuselage block.
Add input recording, I think making a tab for autopilot and adding record inputs and play inputs recorded would be easy to implement and could be pretty useful. Also since it's only the values (Pitch, Roll, VTOL, Activate1, etc.) that need to be recorded and pasted, FT functions won't break
Nice tutorial! (Or at least I assume it is, you should probably add a tutorial tag to this post). The Idea is pretty well explained in this and I really like those examples with rotators
@An2k Oh and it could be like some kind of notes and instructions that the builder and the player/downloader can edit and can access in the designer and the pause tab in game!
Cylindrical/curved/more accurate colliders for fuselage parts. It'd be nice to be able to have better collisions for custom wheel rims and parts that fit nicer.
@LordPilot10 (same) Thank you!
oh wow OH WOW thank you to everyone for the 100 upvotes! This is the first time any of my stuff gets that much attention! Thanks!
+1@YamatoAirlines Yes of course! but that'll probably take long since I wanna make something different and simple first
+1@FeatherWing @Kendall0Clock @F104Deathtrap Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who commented, spotlighted, and upvoted this!! Thank you!
@DDVC thanks, nice classic reference!
+1@SaturnBuildsStuff isn't that toad? or are you referencing another thing
@DDVC Thank you!
+1@brians1209 sorry for an unsolicited tag but I think you'll be interested and also you gave me some tips

Newtons 3rd law of motion (lol) or something to do with sp physics. You can reduce that effect by adding
diffuseInertiaTensors="false"
to the aircraft in xml or by adding the same rotator with the same input just mirrored and attach a weight to that
+1Well That's a loT of nosTalgia for me
+1Also you can't just ask for upvotes, it's said in the Rules (click it)
make a plane and upload it first lol

+1@Power123 Nope! it's all just by using Funky Trees and the wheels.
+1sum(PID(-Pitch, clamp(PitchAngle/15,-5,5), 1,VTOL*2,Trim/2) - Roll)
is the code, the Roll is just reversed on the other rotator@MiGEater One who intends is a fool, one who stumbles upon it in his recommends and sees a mild and censored example and yet still has to bleach his eyes out is a victim.

oh@MrsPizzaschnitzel yeah just a thought experiment definitely will not buy a cheap tv and a heavy duty industrial blender

@sandmanfv2021 We can already do that using funky trees
+1@SKyplane no not on controlSurface, it only works for input
Please let me know if that works as I havent tested it
Pitch / clamp(-Activate2,0.7,1)
Hmm I just realized why everyone thinks ttte is creepy and why there's a lot of those ThOmaS CreEpy memes and media
@TirpitzWantsPlanes yeah kinda same but I guess you can't blame them since ttte was pretty much terrible for a long time and to add to that some people decided to make some creepy pasta stuff and then memed it so yeah

+5welp, time to code the whole of SP into a game engine coded from an operating system in a computer made in SP

+1@HidayatulAdzkiya We can already make those. just xml edit the health value and/or the part collision response
+1Cylindrical/curved/more accurate colliders for fuselage parts. It'd be nice to be able to have better collisions for custom wheel rims and parts that fit nicer.
+5@Power123 You can remove or make props become just cosmetic and use a jet engine that has a low input and high power and is always above the water
