The more pieces the better. If youd like, you can check out the two landing ships ive built in my history. I think they both turned out well and have decent hulls.
I like your plane. Nice work!! If I may, I think it would be useful since the engine is so powerful to add either flaps or the trim function to help with pitch while flying at slow speeds.
Wow!! Great build, Fantastic description too!! Love all the details you've included. Also, I really like your camo. I've never been good at those, and you made it look easy!!
@ShiroNeko I made the cube super small. It only has to fit inside the hull of your boat. I use xml to increase the mass of it. Probably 3 times the weight of the boat. You attach a piston to the top of the hull, and the block to the top of the piston. Xml the piston to stretch far enough for the boat to completely submerge. Then hide piston/ cube in the hull, with the cube resting at the waterline. Because of the blocks mass and its ability to float, vessel will be suspended in the water by the block. Also because it can float, the piston cant push it out of the water, so it puahes the rest of the boat down.
@ShiroNeko small weighted blocks attached to pistons. The blocks float due to their large mass and the pistons push the rest of the vehicle down below the water. They are xml'd on the centerline of the sub. There's one on either side of the "conning tower" you can pull out to look at.
That being said, I would really enjoy seeing you apply yourself to a bigger build. Your detail work is great, and I would love to see what you can do when a part count doesn't matter. What do you think?
Anytime. You do really great looking planes with minimal parts. You have found a good balance of detail vs. parts in my opinion, and I really enjoy seeing your posts.
