What you download from the website is like a kind of "shortcut" to tell the app where to download it in the backend. So if you play on Windows, start the game and go to the editor. Double click the splane file and wait the editor to download it. Remember to save the build in the game if you like it.
@Sm10684 Thanks for the suggestion and the support!
What my concern on the building style is letting the car parts be "what-you-see-is-what-it-is" as much as possible.
Since the battery and the water canister could not really "work", I think it's better to decorate the "working part" instead of hiding it at this concern. And the additional benefit I can get from this priciple is intuitive and convenient car part tuning.
There are some practices I want to follow, but this doesn't mean I deny your way on making the car look better. I think through my explanations we could at least have more shared understandings.
@Mmdben Though the route of your test is still a mystery to me, what you said is believable. Because the new aero and suspension configuration did make the car faster but could as well worsen the operating condition. So maybe you could drive it slower there or choose another less steep slope.
Through my tests the new car on that canyon road to Yeager Airport is around 10 seconds faster than Mk. 3, so you don't have to rush on that spot. The changes worth it.
But actually the cars of Super Racer series were mainly designed for and tested in Wright Isles and Maywar Island. You will have the best experience with them there.
