@tarikGR I actually plan on making a challenge of my own similar to this one. Stay tuned!
*
Also, did you base the podium stats on your own opinion, or the number of upvotes given to each aircraft? Just curious.
@Chromatic one way to increase speed is to increase engine power with Overload. But the most preferred way is to cut the drag scale of larger parts in half to give the aircraft a more realistic acceleration and max speed.
@All first thing you wanna know about that:
*
When you want to change anything about certain words or symbols on your label, whether it be its color, size, position, etc, you put those things in between <> brackets. For example: <color=#FF00FF> if you wanted to make purple.
*
All of the changes to a set of characters in a label that I know of go as follows: <color=#------> <alpha=#--> <pos=0px><voffset=0px><size=1><scale=1><rotate=0>
*
Hope this helps some!
@NewmanSTAR I was just wondering if there was a specific technique to doing it, like using fuselage pieces or labels, or something. Guess I'll have to download this build and find out.
@NewmanSTAR I get that this is an old post of yours and you likely won't see this comment, but in the event you do, I wanna know. How do you get those thin black lines on the fuselage and wings that make it look more detailed and futuristic? I wanna do that with my next upcoming build, but don't know how to do it.
The only reason why I'm upvoting is because it's a good design at first, and you're a relatively low rank. Aside from that, nothing about this aircraft makes sense. The missiles are inside of the intakes, the cockpit is bare bones without even a hud, and the gun is just a tiny stub inside of the fuselage. Overall, still prefer the Wyverns made by Guyfolk.
@GuyFolk I actually found another post with the Yukikaze on it. The person who made it said they used shrunken vertical stabilizers hidden in the fuselage, which to me would be cheating. However, I also discovered that- in Ramjet mode- the main wings flip upward completely and act like giant rudders for the aircraft. That's in Ramjet mode, of course, but that's 1 way to give it yaw stability.
@GuyFolk one idea would be to use thrust vectoring, but that isn't foolproof, especially without running engines. The wings are angled upward about 10 to 15 degrees, so that might do something; same with the canards on it. However, I might suggest doing yaw stability the same way the B-2 Spirit does it: by using flaps on the tips of the wings. If you wanna know who's really good at that, I would suggest talking to @Skill707 or look at his Auto Aim Jet.
@GuyFolk same here. Honestly, if I'd be worried about anything building the Yukikaze, it would certainly be the cockpit. Goodness, you're gonna have a helluva time with that!
@GuyFolk I understand it must be difficult; way more than just about anything either of us had ever built. Its wings rotate, like you said, its cockpit is basically a 2-seater bathtub that moves back and forth through the fuselage, it's got large missile pods on both wings, etc. And I hardly even know what the interior of the cockpit looks like. But if you'd like, maybe I can contribute in some way to its design. I know that, in ramjet mode, there are intakes that pop out of the top of the aircraft, and I've gotten pretty good at programming ramjet engines in this game. Not to mention, its wings folding to such a high degree would actually be quite advantageous for PSM. For example, the 1 scene where 2 fighters intercept the Yukikaze, its wings rotate, and it does a flip beneath them before speeding away and out of range.
@GuyFolk the F-35 is badass until their computer chips start malfunctioning, lol.

Also, I know you said you knew nothing about Sentou Yousei Yukikaze, but would you be willing to figure out how to make that fighter?

I also don't know much about the anime. I just know it from the video titled "Good engine makes a good plane".
On mobile, whenever I click on "Download Planes" and go to this website, then go back to the app, it will not allow me to click anything else unless I exit the app and close it entirely to open it back up. Just wanted to give you a heads up. I play on an android device.
@1010HI1020 I don't know how to convert the value to miles per hour, since it's automatically set to meters per second in the funky trees, but you would want:
*
GS>50 ? value if true : value if false
@karameji ginga as in, "GUNGA GINGA"?
It looks like one of those weird looking frogs in that documentary meme.
+3@WinsWings James Bond wants to know your location.
+1Godzilla: Blows vape cloud on Mechagodzilla
Mechagodzilla: Slaps Godzilla into space with the acceleration of a missile
+1Bruh, am I seeing some kind of optical illusion, or is part of the picture fading every time I move the page up and down?
@MAPA Bonjoir, Misur Raptor!
+3It's always either you or @ASBE doing crazy things with funky trees. Not sure how either of you have the patience for it.
+2@ToeTips Realistic 21st Century Fighters Challenge (Fictional designs allowed, too.)
+1@tarikGR I actually plan on making a challenge of my own similar to this one. Stay tuned!

Congrats to those winners! Wish I was on the podium, but maybe next time.
+1Bruh, why is the front end so LOOOOOOONG?!

@karameji Beautiful work, bro! Although, I wonder. Do you plan on making a fictional fighter aircraft entirely from scratch like I typically do?
Um, excuse me, what the actual f-
+1@Zaineman you think you can make a 5th gen fighter entirely from scratch with highly intricate details, like my StormHawk?
Wait until I start using Phonk for my builds!
At least they're finally starting to improve in terms of quality, lol.
@Zaineman @Winswings @GuyFolk
To everyone who upvotes, you will be pinged when this aircraft is officially released!

Happy to see that more and more people are using the technique similar to my StormHawk to make stealth fuselages.
While it indeed does avoid detection from Ice Base missiles, it doesn't avoid missile detection in the SAM Evasion challenge.
+2Don't be racist, I am a building!
@Antonbotta come on, give this guy a little credit. At least the frame is really beautiful.
@tigercorn I know, was making a joke
@tigercorn chainsaw man? I dunno, I don't watch new anime shows.
+2@NewmanSTAR I'll probably do that then. Thanks for letting me know!
+1@NewmanSTAR I was just wondering if there was a specific technique to doing it, like using fuselage pieces or labels, or something. Guess I'll have to download this build and find out.
@50CalChicken slightly overarmed? Bruh, you have less weapons on that thing than a typical Californian!

@Erc90F4RU as requested, I won't upvote, but somebody could actually make a gigachad drone version of this.
Bro really said "yeeter inbound" 💀

@realSavageMan really beautiful design. I'll bet if I had as many points as you though, my Stormhawk would've also reached front page on SP.
+2Stunningly beautiful flight model!

@GuyFolk this is the aircraft I wanted you to make from the show, Yukikaze.
+1@Zaineman you seeing this?!
I wanna see a gigachad version of this, like how @FatPilotOne made the gigachad tutorial plane.
@ToeTips it's all good. I'm no expert, but I know a thing or 2.

Ooh, nice! Might use that for my current project.
