@SteadfastContracting felt like downloading and testing a few planes. You upvotes one of mine so I thought I'd return the favour too. Put the two together and you get the idea XD
My YF-23 got about 5 upvotes within about 20 downloads it not has over 200 downloads and only 10 upvotes (not that ten upvotes isn't a lot, but it's annoying nonetheless given the circumstances). Then there's my PAK FA which I made the day after, it has 25 downloads, but no upvotes and it was made to a similar standard to the YF-23.
The inconsistency of this community bothers me sometimes, although I've noticed the people on the forums are quite nice.
@Shipmaster Thank you! I have an SB-3 in the works, but I can't actually work on it any more, I uploaded it unlisted, because it's still flyable, I think (there was so much lag that it was hard to tell XD).
Would be cool if they had a dedicated section on the website where people could upload custom skins too. I think it would be quite complex to do, but it's a thought.
@salvador3031 The trick is to line the CoT up with the CoM. I often make the CoT a little behind though depending on the take-off characteristics of the aircraft.
Thanks for the advice though, I'll include it on the next variant. I'll make sure to credit you for it!
They should just integrate it all into simple planes and change its name to some thing "simple universe".
The could structure it so the parts are split into categories, like:
- Automotive
- Aerospace
- Nautical
- Space
Perhaps the sandbox asks for what vehicle your making and presents the relevant parts primarily, while optionally still having access to the other parts.
Would be cool if you could download maps as well as vehicles too, would make this game a bit more interesting.
@Akshay25 The centre of lift was too far forward in relation to the centre of thrust and mass, that and the aircraft was somewhat heavy. So I've removed all the weight at the rear of the aircraft and sweaped the wings back a bit and added a tail in order to bring the CoL back a bit, also got rid of the set of canards placed above the engine. Speaking of engines, I modded in some VTOL ones in order to get rid of two of them (save weight again) and added a set of modded afterburning engines to increase the top speed to over 1000mph. Probably worth noting I've utilised the VTOL nozzels in conjunction with the afterburning engines to give it some STOL performance, so it can now take off at about 100mph. Probably worth noting that it cannot perform VTOL through.
I made some other minor changes, but they didn't really take away from the performance or the airframe, just made it look a little tidier. But if you're happy with everything I've mentioned, I'll upload it for you.
@Akshay25 I think there's an option on the uploads thing (when you're inputting the description, photos, etc) that's set to public by default. I assume you can set that to private and then upload it. As for me getting hold of it, try sending a link to it on here. If that doesn't work, you'll probably have to upload it publicly.
@Akshay25 I wouldn't say I'm amazing, but sure, I'd be happy to help. I might be able to upload it privately, then you can download it and upload it publicly.
I like the simple design of it. Although, it seems the wing loading is somewhat high. I have tweaked it a little and it flies quite well now, if you want me to upload it, I can.
Great read again XD
@SteadfastContracting And no problem
The design alone is worth an upvote, very nice looking aircraft! Will download once I get the chance!
Thank you!! A lot of work went into it (surprisingly XD), So appreciate any compliments! :)
@iraben Thank you! :)
@Jdeb9 Thank you!!
@oliverius156 Thank you!!
Really?
Got a good laugh out of reading that XD
Great aircraft design and thanks for the credit!
@SteadfastContracting no problem!

@TheMasterSoldier Thank you and thanks for the upvote!
I like how you've uploaded this with no credit to me or changes to the aircraft (copying).
@Akshay25 Thank you and thanks for the upvote!
I'm impressed XD
@Shipmaster
Here it is
@Shipmaster Thank you! I have an SB-3 in the works, but I can't actually work on it any more, I uploaded it unlisted, because it's still flyable, I think (there was so much lag that it was hard to tell XD).
The Size Specs are:
-Wingspan 666.6ft (203.2m)
-Length 251.3ft (76.6m)
-Height 52.4ft (16.0m)
-Empty Weight 75,891lbs (34,423kg)
-Loaded Weight 828,594lbs (375,844kg)
It carries something like 90 bombs too XD
I could send a link to it though if you wanted?
@ltnghia678 Thank you!
@salvador3031 Well, it's only polite. That said, I only tend to thank those that comment XD
I still thank other people in my mind though!
@salvador3031 Thank you! And thanks for the upvote!!
@Shipmaster Thank you!
@Dinogone I probably should. But I've been told to make a flying horse first, which will be interesting XD
@TheOwlAce Nope
@ONóordico Thank you!
@TheOwlAce Not telling XD
@BaconEggs Ah damn it. I thought I'd checked to see if you'd already fixed it and found nothing. Obviously, I missed something XD
@Flightsonic Thank you! And happy silver to you! I'll have to remember to check out some of your planes when I'm next on SP!
@salvador3031 Well it is a prototype, so it's not supposed to be good XD
More of a proof of concept than anything else. And again, thank you for the upvote!
@Shipmaster Thanks for the upvote!
@salvador3031 A flight simulator of extreme proportions XD
And thanks again for the upvote!
@BaconEggs Uploaded a fix for it.
@salvador3031 @VioletCrayon41 Thanks for the upvotes and compliments!!
@Sirstupid Thank you very much!! I feel like I've achieved something in life XD
@Sirstupid No problem!
I love the different modes on this! Awesome tank.
@Sirstupid I think that has to be the quickest upvote I've ever had. Thank you!!
