I've tested this on multiplayer, I see the enemy plane bursting into flames, but there is no effect on their side. It's better than using wing guns since at least the one firing can see if their shots hit, but it's still not ideal... would also be nice if it was lighter and more compact, even if that made it look less like a gun. But it's a neat starting point! :D
I'm having issues with dogfighting in the multiplayer mod, when othe rplayers shoot at me with wing guns I do not see nor get hit by their bullets, they also do not see my bullets. Are guns client side? Does it depend on the server? Can I fix it through the dev console?
The cockpit is amazingly detailed and well made. :O
My only gripe is that the engine is ridiculously powerful. I mean... I'm no expert but I doubt WWII aircraft were commonly able to fly straight up and still gain speed... XD
@LordAidanYT Then I fear I don't know how to help you... I advise you look for a simpleplanes discord server, maybe you can get help there faster than here. I'd post an invite here but I'm not sure if that is or isn't against the rules...
@LordAidanYT Check if the mod is in the mods folder, I'd like to tell you how to get to that folder but I fear I don't know how... ^^"
I hope this was at least a bit helpful.
Detailed performance specifications (tests performed at max fuel capacity, max bomb load, and below 5000ft altitude unless otherwise implied or specified):
Top level flight speed: 122mph
Fuel capacity: 295gal
Climb speed: 5,75m/s
Absolute ceiling: 25000ft
Yawing causes loss of control almost every time but this is a great aircraft otherwise! I'm impressed by the way you made the flaps, and the build itself is gorgeous. 0.0
