Yes, indeed, I just added Boom 50s-tipped long-range missiles to Jundroo's arsenal. Add one of them to your subassemblies, careful they cannot be mirrored. Thx, @Potkuri
Yeah, the Space Fighter Raptor just adds lethality in a surface attack role. The hull is not a carrier; it a WIP for submersibles and surface stealth attack ship. @Johawks1976
Detail is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. Reference the below, following link: not a glider, but a slightly-tweaked SimplePlane with internal thrust, that outraces all other challengers on the Daredevil race. The paint job is a disguise. Performing Daredevil at 56 seconds like clockwork is the real design.
To complete the information trail, yes, the model I submitted a month ago was weaponized and balanced for AI fighter engagements. An yes, the weapons added too much mass to make that particular entry a stable+agile Daredevil racer. Good luck to those who enter a Daredevil challenge, since Daredevil Race software has an evil genie built into it, IMHO.
OK, thanks for the heads-up. COMMENT: some standard Jundroo setups like Daredevil and Trench Run are a "roll of the dice" to each and every entry using the limited AI software. I can score 10/10 at Mach 2 on Daredevil (with an unposted jet racer model) on Tuesdays and a mere 7/10 on Thursday on the same model. Android (V7.1 OS Pixel mobile tablet) Apple (V10.3.1 12" Tablet and iPhone 7 platforms) yield very consistent results for me. Info FYI; builds could be excellent but Jundroo software could skew results. Suggest merely explain what platform+OS will execute and score the race; already a practice of Jundroo to perform all their contests via Windows platform+OS. @hopotumon
Incorrect; at close combat "lock on" does not mean the missiles will hit. A maneuverable fighter model can always avoid close-range missiles. Also, for Guardians, the enemy must remain within full view of your radar for aerial hits. @AV8R
Thx for the vote! When I get my Windows hardware platform, and add neat GUI things like fine tuner, I would hope to add more detail in the future. This is an iPhone 7 build, I just build these because the results can be a riot to fly within Jundroo. @EternalDarkness
A couple Jundroo missile rules:
1. One, yeah, you may build a fighter with Group Activations 2,3,4,5,6 and enjoy glorious combat and yes, lock-on works both for interceptor and Guardian missiles.
2. Two, set all Groups to ACT=1, then the "flaky" Jundroo AI chooses Guardian or Intercepter firing order.
(Some of the hints that should be "Operating Procedures" by the Jundroo team. They are a brilliant, but, inexperienced crew of developers).
@AV8R
@BaconRoll Thanks for the comparative feedback, and your vote. Yeah, there are amazing other builds, potentially. This is not amazing. But, save the body design; few AI models can defeat this in AI combat.
@Storm41 Oh you mean the antiship missile, that's also a sea-skimmer. Could do skimming by putting the cockpit on the missile, yes I've done that but users don't have the skills to fly level supersonically and at 500 feet. Note: the modded Inferno missiles in this post should take out any ship's superstructure.
@Storm41 These parts are for jets, mostly. I stopped posting helicopters about a year ago when users began to only vote on cool paint jobs, instead of testing models flight characteristics.
Thanks, @grizzlitn

Yes, indeed, Boom 50s-tipped long-range missiles were missing from Jundroo's arsenal so I added them. Thx, @Tymberwolfman @Potkuri

IMHO, Lockheed-Martin could use your help with stealth innovation. A great mystery aircraft thing!
Thx, @bskngshrk
I submitted a new modded build, based on a famous push-prop bomber prototype.
Outstanding handling.

@EternalDarkness
Funky
Flys well; the Skymaster was a very simple brilliant design. Glad you decided to model one of of the oldies!

It may only be a temp glitch.@Avro683Lancaster
I hope it's a glitch, if so you will likely not notice the symptoms. @jamesPLANESii
Decent handling; great build!
NLD @Baconroll alive, that's good.
Dude, you nailed it! Great build! (Next, i've got to review the posted challenge I guess).

Hint: activate a Group 1,2,3 etc for missiles. Cool design!

BTW fine on my iPod. Qualifies as mobile friendly.
At least you are creative, and joke about travels and combats in outer space. Flashy add-ons to the design. Does OK in Jundroo. I like it.
