Thanks, and yes I was frankly amazed this 5 prop build flew normal Jundroo missions.
So, when it worked I just had to share it. @Carbonfox1

As per accelaration, OK, it's up to you to test and observe. Other stock propeller builds of mine are faster than this one, using 2 or 3 propellers only. These 5 stock (nudged but stock) props succeeded in reaching the attack speed of 500 mph quickly so the weapons wpould work. The design is far from perfect: I would recommend you remove the rear 2 propellers if you ever try a variation of the design. Feel free to re-use the body and modify it. Good luck. @Spectre2520

Hope you find the post with your cockpit within 6 hours. Stock molded body with 5 Propellers. Normal handling. No big deal. Yet, the weapons will take out Snowstone Missile batteries and Jundroo fleets-- which is outside of the scope of your original competition. Still, pure propeller with std takeoff and landing. If you find this post "Propeller Challenge" I hope you can use it, whether it scores points or not. The post is temporary. @Spectre2520

Function: Missiles are highly effective at speeds below 1500 mph. Ag=3 swing wing works great. Tested via old iPad. Kudos!

You have the general concept of my last comment. Those weird poles can be used if you ever place floating engines on them; they must be detached from the Sub Body and yes Windows and iOS allow that. The result is a diving thing that just goes up and down. I’m using a notmal iOS device as I respond - which creates fun surface Submarine models. @Stellarlabs

Uhh....the "realistic" clause is in the eye of the beholder. (Nice paint job on the body flags, or similar). Clarify.

  • Unofficial SimplePlanes List of Real Pilots! 6.2 years ago

You are not going to get much feedback from either military or civilian warcraft pilots in this column. An interesting list, BTW. Without a check ride who's to know when pilot skills are bragged about?

  • Propeller Challenge 6.2 years ago

My iPad is charging, with unfinished WIP builds. No mods of any kind on the builds I submit to you. You may save or delete anything I send you which uses your cockpit. Will be a few hours; I rarely do new propelller builds. @Spectre2520

  • challenge has ENDED! 6.2 years ago

No need to respond, just a comment: with far less than 10 parts, no landing gear, it’s easy to build a flyable aircraft model. In the future maybe you could define what “landing” means since some entrants to this challenge offer landing=crash. Something for you to chew on, in your future postings.

  • Indiana Jones Plane 6.2 years ago

Not intended as a replica, this initial build has the most effective hollywood style weapons. Which outperform Jundroo ground/sea defenses. If you dislike weapons, OK. @junglekiIIer

  • Indiana Jones Plane 6.2 years ago

Thanks @grizzlitn When you test this, a single missile launch will cause a temporary flight path recoil.

  • Indiana Jones Plane 6.2 years ago

@WarHawk95 Thank you. And yes, the weapons are Hollywood stunt jokes. Except few other Jundroo builders (no names) post missiles that are fully tested and which strike at twice the speed of Jundroo defense missiles.

  • Propeller Challenge 6.2 years ago

@Spectre2520 Thanks for clarifying, for all.

  • Indiana Jones Plane 6.2 years ago

@ShiptyTheLucario Yes that is a design baseline. This is a radically weapons mod update. Request you test weapons in-flight, and I expect more feedback.

  • Propeller Challenge 6.2 years ago

  • P-38 WW2 Anti-Beast 6.2 years ago

Holy cow, you noticed the augmented non-stock handling, which you may use in your own future builds. What the upvoters AdlerSteiner, SledDriver, and BaconRoll noticed is different. The missiles (super Cleavers) are unique- requiring no lengthy lock-on - and fly at 1500 mph to a laser-like strike target impact. This is FYI. I wish you success in your future builds. @AchuTMM

  • challenge has ENDED! 6.2 years ago

I just provided a 9-part entry to your contest. Without gear, it would be only 4 parts, but that's an older challenge.... enjoy testing!

  • challenge has ENDED! 6.2 years ago

Q: Do you prefer a decent jet or prop build with only 10 parts?

  • P-38 WW2 Anti-Beast 6.2 years ago

@AchuTMM What? If you say so. It's not a jet fighter...from WW2 propeller performance, go figure... I'll post you a simple 100% stock build of a modern US Coast Guard patrol plane, with your cockpit to add something to your challenge.

Works slowly on my Android test tablet. Suggest, AG=6 for takeoffs. Bay doors only require a single Ag=3 when airborne. Reminds me of a Concorde.
