@JakeS It only counts for harassment of moderators. If it was for regular users, then someone could just get an out of context message of someone saying "f**k you" to try and get someone they don't like a strike. Originally the rule did apply to everyone, shortly after it was announced in Andrew's post, but some people took note of the fact it applied to everyone and proceeded to weaponise it. There are just too many possible factors we aren't seeing to apply it to normal users.
Don't know if this applies to SP but in SR2 you would do it with rotators and then setting their inputs accordingly. Alternatively you could use pistons if you want to be more fancy with it, but a pitch/yaw thrust vectoring system with pistons would require 8 pistons rather than 2 rotators like a rotator-based system would.
@JoeriV Fair enough. Like I said, though, there's plenty of reason to play SR2 over KSP, and vice-versa. It's up to personal preference at this point. KSP is never getting procedural fuselages or engines or anything of that sort like SR2 has because that kind of isn't the point of it. KSP isn't getting a planet builder, a user-friendly in-game programming system, actually good visuals and optimization (that point in particular can be in KSP 2), and there's one major factor you don't seem to be considering: SR2 is the only game of its kind (that is, a 3D rocketry game) that is available on mobile devices. If nothing else, that is a reason to make it when there's already KSP. You have basically an entire market all to yourself. It's worth noting as well that on PC SR2 is less than half the cost of base KSP. It's $15 US, KSP is $40 US. Mobile version is $5 US. Also, for the record, I don't really like to include KSP 2 in discussions such as this one because it is a AAA game with tons of people working on it daily, whereas KSP and SR2 are not. I prefer to keep comparisons exclusively between those two games. In any case, competition such as KSP and SR2 is good because it makes both games strive to get an edge over the other, resulting in a better product for the consumer.
@JoeriV Why make a first person shooter in the first place when there's already DOOM? Why make a strategic board game when there's already Chess? Hell, why make Microsoft Flight Simulator when there's already plenty of other flight simulators? Do you see the problem with your question here? Multiple games of the same genre can exist, and SimpleRockets 2 takes the rocket sim genre and adds stuff to it that KSP will never have.
@Tookan SimpleRockets 2 is newer and much easier for them to develop. They've said it before: SimplePlanes is getting old and hard to work with, working from home is a challenge, and they have to get SimpleRockets 2 out of early access. Would you rather they stop working on SR2 to update an aging game that's hard to update or would you rather they get it out of early access and potentially make a SimplePlanes 2 at some point?
You aren't the problem; everyone that continuously tries to incite drama is. We try to deal with it the best we can — including having to sit there and take the rather mean things people say about us — and I think there's been some improvement over the past couple of weeks. The problem isn't one person in particular. My hope is that together we can get this community back the way it used to be; a community I would like to moderate. Nevertheless, your apology is appreciated.

Please try to make major changes to a plane before posting it. Simply painting an object a different color, or adding a few guns is not enough to consider it your own. In the future please credit the original maker, and try to post your own work.
@asteroidbook345 if you're referring to the alias on his profile, that's from when he was testing the alias functionality so he temporarily changed his username to Average and then back. otherwise, nice. though, if you're not referring to the alias, then he must've been named Average for less than 4 months after the site's creation as archive.org seems to indicate he's always been named AndrewGarrison
If you look at my previous usernames, you will see that I am, in-fact, Androo Garrison. (not to be confused with Andrew Garrison, who is a different person)
@KeanuMiis I striked them for encouraging someone to break the rules, which in this case I believe warrants a strike. If the other moderators disagree with that decision, the strikes may be reverted. For now, though, they each got a strike.
I want the people that WiiMini has chosen not to give the full story (which appears to be most people if not everyone), to know that he was banned for not only accumulating five strikes, but doing so in the span of less than a year. Stating that it was simply "a misleading thumbnail" is false — that was the reason for the fifth strike, not for the ban itself.
.
Also, @Sm10684 @asteroidbook345 @Simps do not encourage the use of alternate accounts to evade bans/otherwise break the rules. I've issued all three of you a strike for doing so.
Legally, Jundroo is not allowed to knowingly collect data from people under the age of 13 due to child data protection laws. So if we're made aware that someone is under 13, we are obligated to terminate their account. Sadly this is entirely out of our control.
You're always free to say you're unhappy and not get a strike. What you're not free to do is start/continue drama or otherwise violate our rules. If you have a problem, message a moderator or dev via an unlisted post or Discord.

so why am I banned when I don't think I've ever even tried to join the server before just now

@KnightOfRen If it's important then it would be better to email Support. Andrew doesn't go on Discord very often.
+1@russianspy Somewhere around there, yeah.
Yes, but you have to pay a fee of (I think) about $20. This is to prevent abuse.
@Tookan fair enough, but then again it could be assumed from the fact the version number is 0.9.6
+1I'll be honest, J-10 is probably one of my favourite planes

@KnightOfRen Did you know that Andrew occasionally pops onto Discord? It's almost as rare as a tasmanian tiger.
@Noname918181 Hah, imagine having a ceiling. Mine is a hole.
+9@KnightOfRen I saw it within 30 seconds of it being posted
@WarHawk95 I am not resigning, and steps are being taken to ensure nobody else does.

+2These statements by Blue are unacceptable, but they do not belong on these forums. For this reason, I have removed your post.
@Simps That does make 6, but the first three of those appear to be from around 2018 so we're not counting those

@KV2Manace Mod notes are only visible to moderators. They're used by us to note certain information about a user and to document strikes.
@Cyan I am not allowed to disclose that.
+2Ban had four strikes so we perma-banned him. WiiMini's ban has been reduced to seven days.
+4@Gestour I can confirm that this is true.
+9@Airbus747SP Not my call, and it isn't possible.
@NexusGaming Tell that to VALVe, not me
If there's a way, it's not possible for moderators to do.
