I hardly regard the leaving of prominant platinum and gold users as the "downfall" of the site. And besides, do you know how many new users flood into the site(excluding copy-pasters) with their ideas? SimplePlanes is still quite well and still kicking in some form or another
@A330neoISGOATED Yea, its kinda known throughout aviation fans(not all), it was adopted in 1918 after Finnish Independence from Russia after WW1, and was discontinued in 1945 after the Continuation War went south, Finland lost to the allies and switched sides, and the hindu swastika being basically banned because of a man in a mustache(im not referring to Kaiser Wilhelm II).

It is more than like they do this because they try and attract a new audience/generation of players by putting on sales like this as a major base line. Before I bought Simples planes(on my tablet) I hoped for a sale to be able to play(about 3.something years ago), before I just bought it. It is already known by devs and by us that no sequels (or updates) will be coming out since the between the release of Juno and trying to popularize it and the last SimplePlanes update, and that it's just hopes we can imagine and shape to our own. So yea
TL;DR: Jundroo gives out sales to attract new audiences(av geeks and others) so that they don't have to update and popularize newer features
It was this one flash game i found back in 4th grade that i played religiously where you got to make 2d cars and contraptions with wires, i forgot the fricking website and name and i think it went with all the other flash games :(
