Considering this is your first plane. I'm surprised you actually knew how to get the engine in the front like that. as well as used the actual fuselage parts
@ThunderscreechEngineering you put it on ALL your wheels what you need to do is do that ONLY for the rear wheels. the front wheels you put on the lower settings like 120 like i said.
Add down force. secondly. use the right wheel type. street for roads. off road or tractor for off road. now this is no t to say you'll be immune to spinning but it helps.
What I find works best is max traction in your rear wheels about 120 in the front. as the rear wheels then act as an anchor to keep you from spinning out but the front ones are strong enough to turn at the best efficiency you'll get out of them.
@MindWarehouse I honestly have no idea which one of you are talking at any given time. Look I gave you some advice he supposivly tried to help you. try building some more planes and improve as you go along. as for the center of mass and lift. you want the blue circle which you move with your wings. just slightly behind the red one. and go from there.
@MindWarehouse which was my plan. but its a bit ahrd to tell which of you 2 is talking so really don't care if waht you said was rude. doesn't bother me either way.
@MindWarehouse I just came in expecting a totally new player playing. and wanting to help but you seem to be able to do that your self. should I be expecting your planes or his here?
@MindWarehouse well using the right parts for basic building is only the beginning. depending on what he wants to build. there is a lot more to learn. or nothing more to learn.
@SethGordon for starters if you're going to be on the site. don't expect awnsers in the first 2 minutes 100% of the time. people are busy. I'm more responsive than others. secondly. I already have started following you before you even responded. eager to see you improve in the future.
@SethGordon Sorry but no. not that one. I gave you some advice and I am going to help you improve as you build more planes. I wont upvote that plane. but come some more planes you build that show improvment I will.
Since this is your first plane let me give you a bit o advice. if you open the parts menu. and hit structerall. if you go to the very bottom. there is a part called "Fuselage block" and "Fuselage cone". these are 2 parts that you can costomize their shape. use these for building. you can fill them with fuel as well. or leave them emtpy to keep weight down. these are what you'll want to be using to build with for the most part.
@Arhitekt well no the left engine and the tip of hte wing it would carry was ripped off. all I had was the base of hte left wing. the engine and end was off.
I don't know how... but it can fly pretty easiy with half a wing off. I accidently ripped the left engine segment off While giving it a test flight (along with the outer wing) and it could still fly stable.
@kampfer alsoj you're wrong about wider and larger wheels but only slightly. wider and larger wheels provide more grip and more weight to the wheels with out touching the suspension. it some what helps with stability but its own grip gained counters that. the way to make something more stable its to make it wider. and lower center of mass. While making sure the grip on your wheels isn't too strong to over come the natural stability of the vehicle.
as for a tail fin here's what you do. that little I'm assuming structural panel you have as a flipping mechanism. create 2 of those except as wings. and then nudge them inside the body so they do not stick out at all. they provide stability. with out being seen.
Well it certianlly is well built. the suspension is designed great. got a lot of travel. just good. now if you want to fix your flipping problem heres a few things you should do to do that.
1: down size your wheels. theyre a bit big and causing a bit of a over steer due to their size.
2: reduce how much power this thing has. its a bit to fast for its own good.
3: virtical wings help stabalize it horizontally.
other wise. very good job.
@Tully2001 eh a bouncy suspension was the cost of having one strong enough to survive some of the deadly impacts I've been encountering on the racing courses. but thanks :D
@marcox43 thanks but I've already figured out the problem my self. the under section was some how locked to another part of the vehicle. a simple pick up and replace of it fixes this issue. I'll have 2 updated versions uploaded later.
@emptybox what about them? honestly with players yea it could work but in AI control if you want to build for that. you simply need something that works with nothing but max throttle and roll for steering.
@Tully2001 to put it simply. wings are good for flat on road racing (which your charge does amazing... idk how you made that thing so good). and off road racing that doesn't have jumps. which is currently none of the off road tracks.
@emptybox @Tully2001 another thing worth mentioning is while providing down force. if you go air borne. (aka off road tracks) they can cause you to flip backwards and such. making landing impossible a lot of the time. so its a double edge with off road vehicles.
Also it is very good. the suspension can handle nearly any impact (reasonable ones that is). the only thing I'd say. is for an AI controled version. make sure your front turning wheels are set to low forards grip and 15 degrees of turning. that usually works best.
Just a note. I am pretty sure wings do not create down force. I've noticed no difference in how a vehicle handles with or with out them. (except which way they lean when air borne)
@Patrick20206 which is my point. the AI I admit isn't the best. but you can still build to make it work. as I have. I also have on raod versions of that vehicle that can finish gold prix quite easily.
@Patrick20206 that said in gold prix you are right there are a few turns the IA just down right cuts a ring because they're slower corners. and hte AI seems to work on a turn slightly before you hit that ring now.
Considering this is your first plane. I'm surprised you actually knew how to get the engine in the front like that. as well as used the actual fuselage parts
Yay now people can test my vehicles :D
@ThunderscreechEngineering show me your vehicle.
@ThunderscreechEngineering you put it on ALL your wheels what you need to do is do that ONLY for the rear wheels. the front wheels you put on the lower settings like 120 like i said.

@MindWarehouse I just came in expecting a totally new player playing. and wanting to help but you seem to be able to do that your self. should I be expecting your planes or his here?
@MindWarehouse so then I"m assuming your brother built this one?
@SethGordon did you even read what I said? I was trying to be nice but now you're acting imature.
@MindWarehouse well using the right parts for basic building is only the beginning. depending on what he wants to build. there is a lot more to learn. or nothing more to learn.

@SethGordon Sorry but no. not that one. I gave you some advice and I am going to help you improve as you build more planes. I wont upvote that plane. but come some more planes you build that show improvment I will.
@SethGordon uh... I didn't upvote your plane... I put a comment on giving you some advice for future help.

Missing a few guns ya know. should have 8 total. bit late but just saying.
@Tully2001 its perfect for a race track. just cut out that twisty part there and use the rest.
@Tully2001 yea. the race track on that on hill on maywar.
@Tully2001 Haven't you ever drove on it?
@Tully2001 that track is a lot easier than the 2 off road we have now in terms of vehicle demands.
@Tully2001 so we really have no reason to make it a track :P
@Tully2001 we already have a race on maywar tho. mirage speed way. an on raod race track on it.
@Tully2001 If rattle snake race track ever becomes an official race I'll probably make one with a soft suspension.
@Tully2001 eh a bouncy suspension was the cost of having one strong enough to survive some of the deadly impacts I've been encountering on the racing courses. but thanks :D
@Tully2001 well when you get the chance tell me what you think.
@Tully2001 well yea it certainly does. that rear wing certainly helps with that. but functionality wise what do you think?
@Tully2001 your thoughts on this version? :3
@tully2001 Well I guess you were right about lowering it. tis a lot better now like this.
@marcox43 thanks but I've already figured out the problem my self. the under section was some how locked to another part of the vehicle. a simple pick up and replace of it fixes this issue. I'll have 2 updated versions uploaded later.
@tully2001 Ok idk why maybey you can hlep me on this. but. the front suspension will not move on thsi thing. at all.
@Tully2001 Its why I've been trying to avoid using them on some of my WIP designs right now.
@emptybox @Tully2001 another thing worth mentioning is while providing down force. if you go air borne. (aka off road tracks) they can cause you to flip backwards and such. making landing impossible a lot of the time. so its a double edge with off road vehicles.
@Tully2001 allright I can see what you mean now. turns a lot worse iwth out the wings.
Well that depens. what kind of modded engine would you like?
@Tully2001 can they? I haven't had effects in my own tests...
Also it is very good. the suspension can handle nearly any impact (reasonable ones that is). the only thing I'd say. is for an AI controled version. make sure your front turning wheels are set to low forards grip and 15 degrees of turning. that usually works best.

@emptybox well with the AI its a simple matter of continuous tweaking.
@Joseph2579 you only need 3 bombs to sink one. I have a few planes that can easily do that with a dive bombing run.
I don't really see the point of this.
@Patrick20206 which is my point. the AI I admit isn't the best. but you can still build to make it work. as I have. I also have on raod versions of that vehicle that can finish gold prix quite easily.
@Patrick20206 try using one of mine. the Geoterain Crawler MK:2. it can beat both off road races. with relitive reliability.
@Patrick20206 that said in gold prix you are right there are a few turns the IA just down right cuts a ring because they're slower corners. and hte AI seems to work on a turn slightly before you hit that ring now.
