    Regardless of every thing I knew I wouldn't be able to win this. I couldn't build something reliable enough that goes fast enough.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @crxtsp Really. nudging is a basic game play feature. instead of complaining use it.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @marcox43 just letting you know. they are still deciding on weather or not all vehicles will not have a collision for future tournaments.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @crxtsp why? its not broken. literally every one can do it. and if you can't get fine tuner mod it'll do it for you.

    And by removing it. literally 99.9999% of planes you see on the front page. would not work.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @Rawr if you're complaining about the AI not using your controls properly. then why did you use any thing other than roll to turn and throttle to go forwards?

  • Wingless Prototype 8.2 years ago

    it still has wings.

  • XF-5U Flying Pancake 8.2 years ago

    just letting you know. the guns on this thing weren't in those back wings. they were up in the front towards the middle. a couple of 20mm cannons would be there. I think 4 or so. maybe 2 50 cals as well.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @EliteSteel the littler bugger chassi uses too many parts to be viable in the tournament.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @EliteSteel then stop ending up with a cube.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @EliteSteel why can't you make your own? it doesn't have to be complex. just workable :P

  • Drag Ricer 8.2 years ago

    clever... very clever

  • T-5-D Street bolter 8.2 years ago

    @LiamW no actually quite the oppisite.
    Larger wheels mean more speed. if you look at the effect of the speed a circle moves at, at any given spot. the larger a wheel. the faster the out side part spins if the part spinning it stays at the same speed in the middle.

  • T-5-D Street bolter 8.2 years ago

    @LiamW bigger doesn't always mean better. I tried larger wheels with this thing. it then became stupidly slow... idk why.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @EliteSteel it'll probably be a while before we get more advanced engines.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @EliteSteel building the whole rest of the car is the easiest part.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @DesertEagle3450 I just did... :/

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @DesertEagle3450 look like 5 comments down at your own comment. "not as weird as your profile picture."

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @DesertEagle3450 weird profile pic

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @DesertEagle3450 you called? :)

  • T-5-D Street bolter 8.2 years ago

    @LiamW that explains a lot. you only got 6 wheels. and 3 engines. you want 6 engines. and 6 wheels.

  • T-5-D Street bolter 8.2 years ago

    @LiamW how many wheels do you have? and how many engines do you have? and are you sure you connected each wheel to its own engine?

  • T-5-D Street bolter 8.2 years ago

    @LiamW well the reason down force slows you down is the same reason every thing else does. its drag. you need to reduce the drag of your vehicle. you need to increase its engine power. and wheels to compensate. you need more forwards traction. and more.

  • T-5-D Street bolter 8.2 years ago

    @FlyingNarwhal Down force SLOWS YOU DOWN. down force slows you down. but keeps your vehicle more firmly planted into the ground. Giving you more traction on your wheels.

    as for your wheels. the number of wheels means nothing. the reason this thing is fast is because each wheel has its own engine. each engine in this thing only powers a single wheel. which gives it the maximum power out put. thus it goes this fast.

  • T-5-D Street bolter 8.2 years ago

    @LiamW I'm getting 33 seconds. but with 1 ring missed because the AI turns before it actually hits hte ring so it cuts corners. thus giving me 38 seconds.

  • T-5-D Street bolter 8.2 years ago

    @Alienbeef0421 vertical wings. to give it a low vertical wing load. it turns with its wings for not its wheels really.

  • T-5-D Street bolter 8.2 years ago

    @FlyingNarwhal lots of wheels. each wheel has its own dedicated engine. with maximum traction. that gives the speed.
    Down force. gives stability and glues you to the ground. it keeps you on the ground so you don't go flying in turns. and it helps with traction and such. it does hurt your speed however it seems you top out at 417mph no matter how much engine power you have so this thing could handle plenty of down force. afterall. every wheel on this thing except the very front 2 has its own dedicated 600hp engine.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @BRuthless its still better than my other entry option.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @BRuthless and you think mine wont? lol that thing is actually quite unstable. effects can be random some times.
    But when it finishes it finishes good.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @BRuthless My current best tops out oat 417mph. and gets there in 3 seconds. finishes in technically 33 seconds but it is guaranteed to miss a ring because the AI cuts corners so its 38

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @BRuthless you've just won

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    Well I just got 38 seconds. misses a ring because its turning is too strong because it has to be.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @BRuthless I actually find it much easier to turn in gold prix than air strip drag. a lot more leniant on the turns. and allows for much more speed and actual leading into those turns.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @Alienbeef0421 have 1 engine for each wheel.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @Alienbeef0421 also you know a wheel can only be powered by a single engine.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @Alienbeef0421 but that does not mean it'll be good at gold prix. gold prix doesn't have as hefty turning requirments as air strip drag.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @FlyingNarwhal you don't make front or rear push it. you make all wheels push it.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @FlyingNarwhal all the wheels aren't pushing? why?

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @FlyingNarwhal traction on wheels. forward traction.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @FlyingNarwhal make it faster? It has 6 engines all 600hp. the only way to make it faster is to lower its down force.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @FlyingNarwhal fast. it just turns too good and the AI makes it miss 2 rings because it turns too good. thus I get 1:09

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @Mod and I have plenty. (also I already know about it did you miss my semi final finish on riding dirty? :3)

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @Seabo14 use throttle for throttle. and roll for turning.

    if you're having troubles with steering like that you have some serous design issues.

  • Riding Dirty 8.2 years ago

    @aayam123 why? there's no point.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @Alienbeef0421 going fast is easy. going fast and turning is not.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    I'll be honest... I don't think I'll hit a serous entry on this tournament. I just don't understand how to do this course. the corners are too tight and too easy to fall off the road. and the straightaways make you go to fast. I just can't...

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    Well for now. I have a vehicle that finishes 1:09. because it misses 2 rings because it turns too good. and the AI likes to cut corners to save turn time which is fine except in this case.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @DahezDefalt it says it before you click to this post how much time is left.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @MrSilverWolf part scaling is not allowed. this is in the basic tournametn rules.

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    @Mod how? :u

  • Airstrip Drag 8.2 years ago

    Hmm... having troubles with this one. the turn sections are so hard...
