@AWESOMENESS360 well you have an impressive airport there, this is not like a typical aeroclub in Europe . I saw small jets and twins , fantastic opportunity for someone to get his amateur pilot licence.
I believe that what you have done in your nice experience is like an addiction flight. In my local aeroclub even in these you complete a flight plan and do all the checklist procedures with your instructor.
Now all you need to take your fist light sport category diploma is 39 more hours .
I am impressed, no one comment anything on the actual flight or the club. So strange...
@Notnoob1000 You are so lucky, we don't have many ercoupes in Europe. Do you remember where it had the trim tabs?
@ACEPILOT109 It's not that hard, you can just add them like a normal schematic on designer suite, but I believe that the good part is the plane it self.
@MrSilverwolf thanks for the vote and spotlight
Ok, fist thing when you make a heli. DON'T USE GYROS , helicopters have a gyroscopic function in they main rotor. Second CoM must be under the main rotor, or little in front of it to have some momentum. Third you don't need to use jet engines, they can fly perfectly by them selfs. If you want to gain more speed download the mod "overload" and erase some drag (if you don't know how to do that ask me) .
Please remember to also zero the weight of the tail rotor because it can create a sideways motion. Also you have much fuel (helicopters in SP are very economical like...15galons to 100 miles) and your engines are so overpowered, 500-700hp are enough for most creations . I make a successor heli to use as example.
@EternalDarkness I was wondering if I could do that, very good advice. I will make an unlisted version with mechanical instruments by Gestour, I'll add it there. Thank you very much for the votes and the spotlight. Happy flights !
@EternalDarkness Ah you caught me on that ! I wasn't sure about the date, this is why the post is plain "Erco Ercoupe". Thanks for the observation . Do you think i should add the venturi tubes ? All the instruments are mechanic.
@EternalDarkness Thanks for watching the video. It's a classic aircraft but because airclubs in Europe don't have Ercoupes, it's a difficult theme. You are correct for the adjusting spring in the elevator, it was one of the safe features of the plane, however in later versions the full-span panel was replaced by a split elevator. http://www.maam.org/aircraft/images/erc_13.jpg
I am not sure when that happened, i believe it was after 415C model. Perhaps between 1945 and 1948. The subject is more debatable because after 80 years, some owners changed the original elevator with the more maneuverable split panel. Also the new ones had an asymmetrical trim tab on the right side. Today you may find an amazing variety of modified Ercoups, some have full modern GPS cockpits with electronic instruments and some still have the original venturi tubes.
Even now after all that research i am not 100% sure if both sides of the panel had trim tabs. Do you have any info or have you ever looked in person the trim tabs ?
Great article. I have 2 questions. The first is how a jet engine ignites the fuel in the burner? And the second, I have seen recently electric jets , if we don't have gas expanding in the burner how did they work?
@BogdanX As you know there is nothing really mandatory in life. There are obligations and opportunitys, flying an ercoupe belongs to the second category...
@Brields95 Ok I am little confused because I live outside the states. Young eagles is a volunteer program in aeroclubs regarding promotion of aviation in young people , right? How they construct coups? They rebuild them from old planes, or Ercoupes are stil producing from a private company in a factory ?
@belugasub it wasn't only you, all the site uses the phrase "t or vote to be tagged" . Even modurators in their teasers LOL, but ok rules are rules. Again sorry for the trouble, when are you going to upload ?
@Tully2001 LOL this was not my intention in the first place, but now you understand that votes in forum promotes the article. Can this be named empathy vote? Or begging ?
I apologize for the trouble, maybe we need to change little bit the general rule in teasers.
Belugasub, sorry to used you beautiful theme as an example. It was a positive example...I insure you. It looks very nice, please tag me.
@tully2001 regarding your last comment about upvotes. One of many teasers of course . But in this it has your upvote... 😔
Great teaser from belugasub and it seems a very good build. I am upvoting and please also T .
Perhaps we need to specify little more the topic in forums.
@BlackhattAircraft you are very lucky, ercoupes are rare site in Europe. Aeroclubs are willing to buy them for their members, but support it's problematic .
@AWESOMENESS360 I saw it is very expensive for my taste, but I loved that 1960 Mooney (N3BV) . 1200 lb of joy 😎
@Mmdben Oh I haven't tryed that. 😊 It can also land there?

Looks good, keep up the good work
Great work, how much time did you spend on your pre-flight checklists ?
3 basic rules for creating a helicopter : Set the Com little front of the main rotor, zero weight of tail rotor, reduce drag .
@grizzlitn @kerlonceauxindustriries @chancey21 Thanks for the spotlight

If you like to break something down and see how you can set it up you can check also this !here
No gyro and pretty fast (above 140mph) .

Hey not bad.
+1I will give it a try earlier today
@dimkal Thanks for the spotlight and for following. Καλή συνέχεια
+1@Trainzo thank you very much, I believe that you are making fare more interesting cockpits.
@toxicgamer88 thanks toxic in Greece we don't have ercoupes bud we have some fantastic socatas. Are you going to Athens flying week?
@Chancey21 Thanks, I have noticed that you are lover of the category . Have you ever been to an aeroclub ?
+1Classic. Keep up the good work. If you like I have some rare photos from f-104 cockpit for a future build. :-)
Thanks @keml , happy flights

ERCO ERCOUPE "T" to be tagged.
Need some work but the theme is great. Keep it up
Now I had the opportunity to fly with it. The landing doors are fantastic. The same goes for air imports
There is a lesson there. Never force a take off, basic rule for everyone, experienced or not.
+4@AWESOMENESS360 or u can use rotators set with a specific amound of spins...
Nice little plane, I remember these ☺

Usually platinum players have a small network of followers witch is way better from spotlights.
This is powered plane? It has an engine.?
@BogdanX As you know there is nothing really mandatory in life. There are obligations and opportunitys, flying an ercoupe belongs to the second category...
Rafale was promoted for the future Yougoslavian fighter. Great work and it's true it's a difficult design.
+1Civilian creations are the best. Great work, nice to have you back

@Brields95 wow what a great detail, it's still in production today ?
@Tully2001 Noted and changed in the main article. All the past three weeks it was the general rule in teasers, or not ?
@AWESOMENESS360 Poor little 717 it was only 7 decades after the ercoupe 😁
+1@Chancey21 sure, I am looking forward for some feedback.
@HarryBen47 these pants are back in fashion. 😎
