@Noob101 Tips for new players: copy things you like and learn how they work. Mess with the programming and see what changes. This is how you learn. Learn the manual attachments screen. Most of all , test TEST TEST . Z 😺

  • Simpleplanes — sound barrier transition. Prandtl-Gloert effect! 1.4 years ago

You know what could be cool. (Obviously you're using engine exhaust to make the effect) consider this: Stagger a bunch of tiny engines on the x-axis starting at the tip of the aircraft and have them each turn on then shut down based on speed. Have them do this starting from the front moving towards the rear of the aircraft. When you are finished you would have the illusion of the sound barrier being broken at the very front tip of your aircraft then moving down your fuselage all the way to the rear of the aircraft. Make sense ? Once you get the programming done for one of them, the rest should be easy. Just increase the speed parameter in your programming for starting and stopping for each consecutive engine. Thoughts ? Z 🙀

@CptKuroYozorakage Check this cockpit out. Main batt switch is on the lower right. I can teach you how to make labels light up. The programming in this example is a little more complex but I can give your a short piece of programming that you can put in the front of any programming on any label and make that label light up. HUDs are a little different. I connect those to rotors and have them turn into view once turned on. Z

  • Uncontrollable plane issue 1.4 years ago

Ok, in the aircraft editor the top button on the right hand side. This is where you can load or save planes. Also you will see a pendulum with three dots as one of the buttons. Press this and you will see three things. Center of lift (CoL Blue Dot/line), center of mass (CoM Red Dot/ line), finally center of thrust (CoT yellow Dot /line). Generally in order to keep a plane stable you want the center of Mass to be in front of the center of lift. Currently, your aircraft has the center of mass behind the center of lift which makes the plane unstable click here to see. One way to cure this is to select a part of the fuselage in the front center of the aircraft and add dead weight to it to move the center of mass in front of the center of lift click here for an example of the fix notice now, that the center of mass (the red line) is in front of the center of lift (the blue line) and this will make the plane in most cases more stable and airworthy. • Sc-45 1.4 years ago

@Graingy No, I don't use it to remove connections, I do it to change the fuselage type from solid to hollow so I can put a cockpit in an aircraft that doesn't have one, Click here for example of such an aircraft see, the front of this aircraft is solid. So, by changing the type of fuselage to hollow, I can hollow out the front of the aircraft and then install a cockpit. A perfect example of this is one of my recent posts Click here I actually use this method on this aircraft. Get it ? Lol Z 😺
