@Fishbowl1121 Read more on Board Game Geek or BGG.com ... It's a fantastic game with multiple Albatros types and the Bristol F.2B currently available though I personally like Airco DH4s. I reckon you woulds make an excellent player as you have prior knowledge / interest in WW1 - If you would like to take up playing one day contact me through here and I'll play you on SKYPE.
@Fishbowl1121 WW1 was 1914 to 1918. The first C-130 flew in 1955 so I'm a little confused by your posting. If you are a WW1 fan you should investigate WINGS OF GLORY by ARES GAMES - WGF as the WW1 version is nicknamed ... Promise you will like what you see as I am an avid fan too :o)
@picy You should start one of these on history. Which could include the year 1066 when King Harold was shot in the eye during his summer vacation in Hastings. Also why all the Victorians become extinct in 1901! Equally as silly is after making his Last Stand who pulled out the chair for General Custar to sit on ...
Gulf War 1 (1991 / Operation Granby) or Gulf War 2 (2003 / Operation Corporate) please? I will have a go at building a British Nimrod four-engined jet for you if this challenge is still on :o)
You won - Well Done. 1939-1945 Fighters would have interested me too as I like my WW2 era planes. Please tell us more - did you become an ace for instance? I will look at the Seafang now but most importantly remember to be proud of yourself first and then of your aircraft. As you were the pilot without which an aircraft is just a static object in need of operation :o)
Gravity is indeed not magnetism - gravity is a force which is measured at 9.81 metres per second squared. Magnetism is a guide which cannot be quantified to that extent unless electro-magnetism allows force to become an element within it or power to become part of it's mechanism. Favourite one has to be the dinosaurs joke!
Jelly - oh my goodness HIM!!! Aside of this I think a number of good points are raised rightfully as objections to stealing and then passing off as your own. After all you wouldn't pirate a CD or DVD would you? There are no laws against SP Plane Piracy but when it happens ... It hurts the same as any theft does. Who plays a game and puts time and effort into contributing to it only to end up disillusioned and hurt? Nobody that is who. On all occasions when I borrow I always begin the write-up INSPIRED BY ... or INSPIRED BY THE WORK OF ... to acknowledge the creator of the original making them feel rewarded and not deprived. I also ask permission when it's not a collab build so before writing Inspired By the original creator already knows and expects to see something of theirs coming from my direction. It's part playing fair and part having respect for other SP users. I hope this does not sound like a rant - just the views of a 43 year old who loves playing this game and enjoys interacting with the SP Community :o)
@Bluerobot11 It's angled so would that be possible? Hope so because ENOLA GAY and also BOCK'S CAR are iconic. This aircraft is nose-heavy same as my version has turned out so I am currently not all that happy sharing it as Work In Progress / a crash-crate!!! Good rendition of the B-29A though which is tough to reproduce on here - UPVOTED.
Very interesting thread seeing as LUCY was one of our RAF 4 Squadron Harrier GR7s during the Balkans War / Kosovo. LUCY served from Gioia del Colle from 1995 to 1998 and the end of the episode in Kosovo. In 1999 the LUCY nose-art and ARTF Grey RAF paint were removed from this Harrier GR7 that then went for GR9 conversion prior to the start of Operation TELIC in Afghanistan: Only she was not renamed for that campaign following an RAF-wide ban on nose-art!
@MechWARRIOR57 This is the reason I still use FS2004. Though I would love to engage in some MP or share-flying other than commercial airliners with the ALPHASIM aircraft I have for Flight Sim such as Harrier GR7 or Blackburn Buccaneer S.2B :o)
@IStoleYourMeme Liking your avatar :o) Problem is that Jeremy Corbyn will not make Britain great again with proposals like scrapping Trident and renationalising everything.
Basically he is a communist aiming to create (IMHO) a 21st Century communist Britain and many just do not see this through their media-governed and blinkered eyes. If he wins the next election I will find myself living in Londongrad!!!
Note: Posting edited to include IMHO after reading Makcoink's comment above - Thanks for that.
@Kerbango and @Gnome360 Thank you both for these pieces of advice. Originally aimed for plug-and-play designs that could be shaped into well-known aircraft types. But I'm feeling a little more like a challenge now so I'll look into fuselages.
@Dstroyer101 OR were you questioning my use of Older Generation Fuddy Duddies? I'm 43 so I was making a joke about the fact based on how many younger Members the SP Community boasts - ALL of whom are sound and a friendly bunch of folks :o) :o)
@Dstroyer101 Agree you have a great deal of common sense and a good eye for an effective design. We are possibly best off leaving those who think BAE spells or represents GIRLFRIEND to it. Cannot wait to see what finally happens with this idea - it's going to be a hell of a campaign if I am allowed B-52Hs :o)
@Dstroyer101 You star - thanks for explaining to us older generation fuddy-duddies!!! How on earth have they worked that one out? Meh on the other hand I do understand - I remember that from when I was at school same as we used to go round calling each other Fods if we behaved a bit meh!
@Dstroyer101 That's the best thing I have read on here - UPVOTE UPVOTE! BAe Systems became a load of MEH in my eyes around 2002. Am I still allowed the iconic B-52H though?
Best of luck with your idea. I have an MD-902 Explorer helicopter which could do with an expert's attention as I can get it to take off and fly (lazy eights) but not land again!
The way home is always my favourite road ... OR Run The Gauntlet by developing your idea with hazards and wrecks to dodge / diesel fuel spills causing you to skid & a golf course nearby on Crazy Shots Day from which glazed parts can be shattered ...
War no longer decides who is right but determines who is left ... Antidisastablishmentaria in 2050 with an ageing President Cowelly will still be flying the Boeing B-52H and the Delta Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-9 in a troop carrying role! Newer types will feature the Hawker Humdrum and BAe Systems Brexit and from the CIS the Ilyushin I-Dunno for intel flights. Drones will be requisitioned and placed in capable hands and used to mow North Korea into submission ...
@Sunnyskies You are correct - in it's raw format this aircraft does only vaguely resemble a Mig 19. I'd say it is more F-86 Sabre like until you look at the rear exhaust IMHO.
@KingDeadshot Thank you I will take you up on that offer. I lasted two weeks playing War Thunder and my patience with the Pay to Progress dependency just snapped after that short time!
@KingDeadshot The impression I get of SP is that it takes time patience and learning to get ahead in this game. Now that appeals to me however I can understand how others may find these factors frustrating ... Success comes over time not over night - beats SP being pay to progress like War Thunder is an example of any day! :o)
@WalrusAircraft It's a pleasure knowing that this aircraft brings back happy memories for you. Also available is the XH558 Vulcan To The Sky version now and when I can I will download / share it.
@KingDeadshot Hello again and thanks for supporting another of my contributions. When I can next upload again there are two more P-38s to come and one is modded and tweaked by me - it's carrying RAF evaluation markings as well.
@DandruffCat A similar situation applies to Is It Dakota ... Or Skytrain? VERY VERY NICE ... Upvoted downloaded and totally recommended especially for us WW2 Warbird fanatics!
Bring on Multiplayer (MP) PLEEEEASE!!!! This would be an asset to a MP game especially as a target. Fantastic idea - UPVOTED!
@GriffithAir I have heard of Hypnotoad :o)
@Fishbowl1121 Read more on Board Game Geek or BGG.com ... It's a fantastic game with multiple Albatros types and the Bristol F.2B currently available though I personally like Airco DH4s. @Packman126 Just gained themselves a follower ... Me! :o)
@Fishbowl1121 Ask for a Fokker E1 Eindecker or a Moraine-Saulnier MS406 ... WW1 Monoplanes as biplanes are a real challenge on SP :o)
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Wrong. We ALL care - you are a valued contributor here. That is what being a supportive community is all about.
@GriffithAir Thank you very much :o)
@Fishbowl1121 Neither - Wings of Glory is a wargame / board game. Seriously advise you look into this and I understand about the C-130 posting now.
@Makcoink I have now edited my original comment in response to your first posting. Thank you too :o)
@Makcoink Only just picked up on this - anyway did you get much of a response and would you consider re-running this challenge?
@Fishbowl1121 WW1 was 1914 to 1918. The first C-130 flew in 1955 so I'm a little confused by your posting. If you are a WW1 fan you should investigate WINGS OF GLORY by ARES GAMES - WGF as the WW1 version is nicknamed ... Promise you will like what you see as I am an avid fan too :o)

@Makcoink Thank you for the heads up there. I agree and those opinions count too when voiced. Respect - you just gained a follower in fact.
You won - Well Done. 1939-1945 Fighters would have interested me too as I like my WW2 era planes. Please tell us more - did you become an ace for instance? @pilotjack Yes - By Haydenthedrummer as part of the fuselage design.
@CanofBeans Thank you very much. It's the work of three Members but not a collab build.
What an absolute BEAUT! Nice work!!!
Great to see MP working. I am thinking of giving it a try.
+1@Dstroyer101 Sorry I don't understand??!
@Dstroyer101 That's the best thing I have read on here - UPVOTE UPVOTE! BAe Systems became a load of MEH in my eyes around 2002. Am I still allowed the iconic B-52H though?
@Dstroyer101 No because without you this idea would never have become a thread! I am also left handed BTW :o)
Douglas Skyraider? Looks like one and a great job of looking like one too. Nice work :o)
DOUGLAS A-1D SKYRAIDER? Very nice creation there but it does look like the A-1D. Not that there's anything wrong with that :o)
Best of luck with your idea. I have an MD-902 Explorer helicopter which could do with an expert's attention as I can get it to take off and fly (lazy eights) but not land again!

Agreed as I have Concorde currently being shared and the Landing Distance Available this needs is huge! Note just huge but not impossible ...
@Sunnyskies You are correct - in it's raw format this aircraft does only vaguely resemble a Mig 19. I'd say it is more F-86 Sabre like until you look at the rear exhaust IMHO.
Simple Trains - I like this idea and think you could be onto something popular. Jundroo should take note of this thread.
@DisferGoatz Thank you very much too. I should not have much longer to wait based on that information :o) :o)
@RedHawk Thank you very much. Already have three lined up for when I can next upload.
@KingDeadshot I'm off to check Sky Gamblers out. Somebody else I know has mentioned it too having also left War Thunder behind.
@KingDeadshot Thank you I will take you up on that offer. I lasted two weeks playing War Thunder and my patience with the Pay to Progress dependency just snapped after that short time!
