Possible sighting. About 20 nautical miles NE of Krakaboala. I wasn't looking for it, so I was flying my fighter at 1100 knots and couldn't get a good look. But it certainly wasn't a plane, it left a wake in the ocean.
The first time I saw it, I was only a quarter of a nautical mile away, and 300 feet up. I got a good look and I am 100% sure it was a sub. I will try getting you a screenshot. I'm in the process of hunting it down.
@AN2Felllla Thanks, I'm already in the process of learning funky trees. You've helped me on another question or two, thanks for that as well. I'll try that tho
@Boelin I am working on a plane, the SS-937-B Super Panther which is more efficient for the hunt than it's predecessor (the SS-937-A Panther), and I am in final development stage. When it is complete, I will resume the sub hunt. So in short, no I have not.
@Boelin I very specifically remember seeing the Tiny before seeing the sub ( I remember noting that I overshot by too far), then I saw the sub about halfway between the Tiny and Beast. The sub was light grey, lighter than the carriers, with dark markings on the side. It was sitting still when I first saw it, and moving when I saw it next. When it was moving, it made a long wake (the only way I noticed it at 1300 knots) then I flew closer and confirmed it was indeed the sub.
@Boelin I think it was a coincidence that it happened when I was bombing the Beast. The second time I saw it, I wasn't attacking anything, and it was 8 nautical miles SW of Krakaboala. It seems important to note that both times it was within 10 NM of land. Also (this could also be coincidence), both times it was travelling directly towards or away from the Brown Pearl. The first time, it was facing directly away from the Pearl's location, the second time, it was headed directly for it.
@TJ2Ryan Yeah, it's pretty easy to do some barrel rolls and sharp turns to make them overshoot you. If you can do it right, they'll hit the water and sink.
@Embo I checked and I don't have any subs downloaded. I also may have spotted it again on a recon mission, but I was going 1,300 knots so it's hard to tell.
@scratch Not a problem, it's just the default group, not a mod, and I have AI air traffic set to max. But as I mentioned before, it wouldn't be that, as I haven't built or downloaded any subs. I just wish I had the presence of mind to take a screenshot instead of hesitating, then trying to blow it up.
Does it still work?
+4Held back from our potential to surpass pc users

+2@TriStar Damn thanks for the help tho
+1@VolcanicAsh I have some learning to do, thanks.
+1@Boelin I just uploaded the new SS-937 model, so the hunt continues. You are welcome to use any of my planes to look, if you're interested.
+1It was a sub, and I know the fleet. There was only one, not three craft.
+1@scratch Sick. Thanks so much for your help and letting us use your prototype, I'll keep you updated on any sightings.
+1I will tomorrow. I'm gonna keep a flight log of every flight I make so I can see specifically when and where I spotted it when I do.

+1@Embo I've never built a sub, so that can't be it. It would have made sense, tho.
+1@BagelPlane I may end up doing that

@DefinitelyNotAnAlt Thanks, I'll check on that using your advice.
@AN2Felllla will do, thanks, for the help.
@ZeDaru57 does it have a detailed cockpit interior?
@AN2Felllla is that in the overhaul mod
@AN2Felllla What are M and S
@AWESOMENESS360 so it won't be able to show crisp objects in the mirror? Because that's why I need it.
I recently drove that route with my new vehicle, the ATR-92-A Leopard and I want to calculate my fuel mileage because I only used 3% fuel.

Nvm, it works great and is awesome, but how can I speed it up?
@scratch It looks and sounds amazingly useful for this, but is it Android compatible?
@Boelin I also remember it was roughly coffin shaped. So let's refer to it as the "coffin sub."
@scratch I don't know if it could be targeted, the USS Beast was already in my brackets from the bombing run.

@Boelin what do you mean
I'll be making a 193b, so I'd love any advice or issues you've found so I can make the Super Clasher better than the Clasher.

@Fox3 I play on Android
@scratch My spawn point was at Wright. I flew directly north to attack the Beast.
@ArkRoyalTheDDhunter Sick thanks. I'll make one that can go about 2,000 mph for good measure.
Yo that's a Shrexy plane
