@BaconAircrafts Yup. Adding the scale="x,y,z" command to any part will scale them the specified amount. There is also a mass scaling command massScale="a" to accompany it. If you want to scale a part properly both in mass and dimensions a should be equal to x×y×z.
@Skua What do you think about these roundels? ;)
@Benkelmans Thanks!
@DatWalrus Link
@Brields95 The radials?
@ThunderBlood please no "all" parts ... Consult this guy if you want whole creations of lots of parts to be scaled.
@denialofservice Link. You can find the exhaust colour in the following xml attribute:
exhaustStartColorOverridePrimary="0000FF00"
.@DatWalrus What engine? Prop? Jet? HP? Power multiplier? Exhaust colour?
@cmdt2013 Link
@Upquark Will this do?
@Upquark Pick a colour and give me its code. Do you want a 30x power engine?
@Thomasj041 Yeah!
@LOSTechOrdnance I got inspired by this and I will release a complete plane as a sucessor to this. Feel free to upvote that ;)
@cmdt2013 what do you mean by x(max)power?
@T0PD0GDEFENSIVECO lol
@cmdt2013 How do you want it modded?
@DatWalrus Link
@T0PD0GDEFENSIVECO Link
@FrankieB hmm
@FrankieB spaces between each 'thing'. A 'thing':
scale="1,1,1"
@Upquark Here's the jet. I can do the exhaust too. What colour (hex please) do you want?
@T0PD0GDEFENSIVECO Which exakt sizes are you after?
@BaconAircrafts np
Change the value to e.g.
massScale="0.05"
@T0PD0GDEFENSIVECO Those are a pain to make though ...
@Upquark Turbofan inlets?
@denialofservice Which engine?
@BaconAircrafts use
massScale="x"
instead. Negative fuel tends to make things glitch out.@SimpleTechAndResearch Here you go!
@BaconAircrafts How will that fuel tank help?
@BaconAircrafts Whatcha gonna use that for?
@Useinglasseshomework It was only in the 1.3 beta
@GrimMantis No, there's no value to change, but bigger intakes suck in more air.
@FrankieB You'll have to experiment
@FrankieB e.g.
scale="0.5,0.5,0.5"
What exactly did you do?
id="1" disableAircraftCollisions="true" partType="Cockpit-1"
just add it there@FrankieB you have to add it
@FrankieB You can add
disableAircraftCollisions="true"
to all parts in the game. Just add that line to all moving parts in the gear.@FrankieB Have you turned it off for every part involved?
@FrankieB What?
Exploding tires? Concorde, hint, hint
The great thing with the scaling of parts is that we kinda got this
I did it in this plane.
@WNP78 Can you scale this by 1.5x1.5x1.5?
Does it work if some of the parts already are scaled?
I would do my homework lol
@BaconAircrafts Yup. Adding the
scale="x,y,z"
command to any part will scale them the specified amount. There is also a mass scaling commandmassScale="a"
to accompany it. If you want to scale a part properly both in mass and dimensionsa
should be equal tox×y×z
.@BaconAircrafts Feel free to take the bigger and extra wide gears ;)
@General360 Thanks!
@LOSTechOrdnance I missed to write some information. The last comment has been edited accordingly and I have an example of the result here.
