Ill never know why some uploads just arent succesful lol some of what i think are my less impressive builds get much more attention than the ones im truly proud of. @ChisP
The hinge already has the code you need. Just attach it to the main wing of your airplane and on the moving end attach the slat surface. @ArcturusAerospace
@Wheatman1 ummm its expected behavior. at high speed + low altitude pitch input may induce some wobble through the fly-by-wire. realistically, you wouldnt be pulling a hairpin turn at mach 1.5 though. you can reduce the likelyhood of this happening by increasing "PitchRate" in the elevon inputs to say 300 or 400- however, this will reduce the stability slightly
@Mustang51 @BogdanX thanks! Its gone through a couple dozen iterations now lol every time theres a SP update i find myself going back to all my builds to incorporate the latest features
@DimitriIqbal91 make a thin thin fuselage cylinder (.1 diameter) and attach it to a rotator, then attach a panel to the side of the cylinder. thats the gist of it.
Blueprints if you havent already been referencig them. I notice i usually start with the fuselage from front to back. Then i add the wings. I spend a good amount of time cross referencing the fuselage shape as well as the wing size, angle, and position etc. Really once you have that done to a fairly good degree of accuracy, the rest just kinda falls into place. You start learning tricks as you go.
You also should get comfortable with .xml modding- or at least download one of the in-game mods. I hope some of this helps!
@SServal
I place the rotators on the body, attach the stabilizers, and then nudge the rotators into the body and nudge the stabilizer in too. You can also try disabling collision in the xml file @Supercraft888
Hey these look great! I'm having trouble getting these to work though. I assume the ones that you say require a lock are guided. However, I obtain a lock, press 1, and they fall like dumb bombs. Am I missing something?
I tired that with my f-22 and i was within a foot in all 3 dimensions! However it did not fly well at all. I think that may be the final frontier for me though!@Sunnyskies
Thanks! Much appreciated! @CRJ900Pilot

+1nice nice, saved to my sub-assemblies
+1As long as the COM isn’t too far ahead or behind from where the slats are attached, they do function! @CRJ900Pilot
Yea you would unfortunately. I had to redonthe wings for all the planes i retrofit these slats and it was a real pain lol @ArcturusAerospace
The hinge already has the code you need. Just attach it to the main wing of your airplane and on the moving end attach the slat surface. @ArcturusAerospace
@ArcturusAerospace you can! just take the hinge part and save it to your sub assemblies. if you remove one of the slats, you'll see it
@Planeboi49620 https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/vlHO9S/Rolls-Royce-LiftSystem
+1Sure but im not sure what you mean exactly? This is a real aircraft- Boeing made one of these im pretty sure @Wheatman1
Am I able to enter a second submission? I have an expression for fully automated leading edge slats id love to share.
Yea you need to be on at least 1.9 i think. The earlier versions dont support funky trees expressions @TitanIncorporated
@CRJ900Pilot Thanks! glad you found it easy after all!
@TitanIncorporated are you on the latest version? (1.9.205)
Its the same button. Maybe funkytrees requires you have physics set to high. @TitanIncorporated
Are you on high physics my dude? @TitanIncorporated
Check de description @TitanIncorporated
@99807 @UFNNICF5TF Thanks! I hope yall were found the VTOL easy too

@Wheatman1 is your physics on high? or are you taking supersonic turns at low altitude?
@Mustang51 @BogdanX thanks! Its gone through a couple dozen iterations now lol every time theres a SP update i find myself going back to all my builds to incorporate the latest features
@edensk @ArcturusAerospace I tried Designer Suite and the game says I must disable mods to upload. perhaps this is only as of this latest update?
+2This plane is cursed
+1Lol not bad at all eh? @Subnerdica
Thank you :) @goboygo1
@Inuyasha8215 yep!

+1@SServal
howdy fellas! i never left lol im always quietly lurking
+1@BaconRoll haha thanks! im flattered someone even noticed my 'hiatus'
+1as always, great plane. heads up though, i do notice that the right landing gear panel doesnt retract like it did in your last one!
I place the rotators on the body, attach the stabilizers, and then nudge the rotators into the body and nudge the stabilizer in too. You can also try disabling collision in the xml file @Supercraft888
Only the B variant. The A and the C do not @xXBE3STXx
Yes @EarthwormJim
F-35B is has VTOL, not the F-35A @xXBE3STXx
Ayyeeeee maybe. Im not really good at vtols but its about time i gave it a go again @Aerobako
Looking great! Lemme know if you still need help with this
Ughh :( i thought i had located it just right this time around @Viper28
@Shipwright Yea just figured it out lol. thanks! How did you attach the 500lb bombs to the missiles? Company secret?

Ok lol you got my attention @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
Youre thinking of the F-35B @SimpleFlow
love it! i own a mk6! great little car!
Looks odd
Up (slider on the left)@WaffleAircrafts
Thanks! Btw i also loved your performance in "The Carrot" @TheStapler
Yes i had to scale down the engines and landing gear. Also to cant the canards. @EarthwormJim
@Sunnyskies @SHCow 1.8 should get you there
I tired that with my f-22 and i was within a foot in all 3 dimensions! However it did not fly well at all. I think that may be the final frontier for me though!@Sunnyskies
I found that changing the canard surfaces to semi-symmetric adddresses this while maintining relaxed stability. @Sarpanitu
thanks for the upvotes and spotlights!
