@Shippy456 That effect may be due to Drag. You have to activate the Drag viewer to check if there are more drag on one side of the plane, which is possibly generating that turn. The way to solve it is to find the part that causes the problem and put drag = 0 and do the same with its symmetric part.
@asteroidbook345 Don't worry, you play when you can or they leave you. The same happens to me. That is why I usually give quite ample time.
In relation to Blackburn Buccaneer, it certainly survives surprisingly. It is a large plane and I doubt that it is not as maneuverable as the F-5, but its pilot had to be very precise ... Despite these Anime licenses, I think it has very good details. I don't usually consume Anime, but I found Area 88 by chance and gave it a chance and it wasn't bad. Compared to other anime in which the pilot girls do not wear a helmet and are dressed as princesses ... hahahaha this anime seems much more serious.
Anyway, this challenge is an excuse to have fun building and flying airplanes. ;-)
@ChiChiWerx It has been compared at the same speed, although it cannot be seen in the DCS video clip. On the other hand it is an approximation, it is not intended to do exactly the same. If it is observed the turn are similar, it seems a fact.
@ND40X It may be a plane from the 90s. From the Second World War, I do not recommend it, as it will be quickly shot down. Actually you have to design a plane from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
@JohnnyBoythePilot The 12 hard-point rule is made not to overload the plane too much. Keep in mind that we try to be similar to reality. An airplane usually has a load limit. If you load more weapons than the plane should have then you will lose realism and that translates into fewer points. 12 or 14 hard-points is more than enough. Subpilons are also considered hard point. In relation to the second question, there is no problem in using pre-designed weapons. But remember that realistic behavior of weapons is valued.
@Shippy456 In this mission, there will be no ships to destroy. In the previous challenge, we used LASM weapons, to destroy long-distance two destroyers, we have a very funny video posted about it.
@Shippy456 I understand that the symbol refers to a cockade or badge ... I don't have details made about that ... you have to create them ... As for cluster bombs, they are allowed, but I would ask that they not generate lag when launched. I have some experiences of this type of weapons and sometimes they block the game. Test before the game does not slow down when they are fired or exploded.
@XjayIndustrys Your questions are very good! The complexity in the wing and other type of advances is scored positively.
As for the enemies, Their quantity will vary in the two missions that are going to fly. Keep in mind that the first mission is designed to fly to Mach 1 at low altitude. There will be enemies that will shoot us along the way, but we will not attack them, we will reserve the weapons for an attack on an enemy base. As for the second mission, it will be a ground attack on enemy units, most likely on the move, to defend the capital of the kingdom of Aslam. But our spies don't give us more information ...
As for the cannon, I recognize that it is a useful weapon in this mission, I recommend not abusing with impossible calibers. As far as possible, we must seek more or less realistic characteristics. An example of this, you have it on the last plane I have published.
@Shippy456 There is no problem with using the weight in the fuselage. There are other tricks, but it would take time to explain. Maybe I make some videos about it.
@Shippy456 I recommend that you make a redistribution of weight. I explain myself, if the plane is very nervous (not very stable) it redirects the weight to the front area. If it is not very agile, move that weight to the back area. You will improve the behavior of the plane and make it more similar to the real behavior that is what we try to look for in this challenge.
@ND40X That is good news!
@JohnnyBoythePilot You can use as many as you want, but in sum they cannot exceed 50 chaff and 50 flares
@Shippy456 That effect may be due to Drag. You have to activate the Drag viewer to check if there are more drag on one side of the plane, which is possibly generating that turn. The way to solve it is to find the part that causes the problem and put drag = 0 and do the same with its symmetric part.
@HeavyC22 Try to make the plane a successor to this post. Otherwise, I find it difficult to control so many planes.
@asteroidbook345 Don't worry, you play when you can or they leave you. The same happens to me. That is why I usually give quite ample time.

Very Well made! Congrats
Great work! I like this plane!
@Bife me gusta mucho este diseño, tiene muy buena pinta 👍👍👍👍
Here is the video that demostrate that speed is the same https://youtu.be/_OOd6tj5JZA @ChiChiWerx
@Shippy456 yes but It appear in area 88 anime 😄😄😄
Very nice plane!
@ChiChiWerx It has been compared at the same speed, although it cannot be seen in the DCS video clip. On the other hand it is an approximation, it is not intended to do exactly the same. If it is observed the turn are similar, it seems a fact.
+3@Shippy456 Perfect! If you want I can try it and we make sure.

+2@typeZERO I think it could be done if the missile is encapsulated and the force is increased, following the same principle as this plane ... https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/45mT15/Fairei-Fire-Comet
@typeZERO with XML it´s possible via reducing weight of the missile and drag... Still there are no guarantees. It is best to incorporate a VTOL engine
@Scrooge2029 hehehehe a mirage in the desert ... mmmm a Mirage 2000?
@Shippy456 I can try to make a cluster bomb for you ...
@Shippy456 I see you have trouble making custom weapons. It is also not a problem, you can use bombs by default, I am sure they will be effective.
+1@Shippy456 In this mission, there will be no ships to destroy. In the previous challenge, we used LASM weapons, to destroy long-distance two destroyers, we have a very funny video posted about it.
@asteroidbook345 hahaha Y-Wing nice idea! But but it would not be the right challenge ...
@RAF1 I didn't know that Ace Combat had also noticed the tightrope! Woohoo!
@Shippy456 I understand that the symbol refers to a cockade or badge ... I don't have details made about that ... you have to create them ... @Shippy456 Well, I'll try ... I have some surprises for this map. It may or may not fall ... or I may take some licenses ...
@ND40X Deadline 28 February 2020

+1@ACEPILOT109 Your approach seems very good. Ahead! Welcome to Area 88
@Shippy456 There is no problem with using the weight in the fuselage. There are other tricks, but it would take time to explain. Maybe I make some videos about it.
@typeZERO There are some tricks for that ... Check out this missile ... https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/9pXb2f/MIK-Kilo-Hypersonic-Missile
@Aircraftftw your plane has 62 part. The minimum parts must be 230
It takes me a long time to finish it ... sorry
+1very nice scheme!

@ndfr623 @Shippy456 What ndfr623 indicates is a very appropriate way to solve that problem.
@Shippy456 It is an acceptable power to weight ratio. In this challenge, we are flexible with these parameters.
@JolyLoly yes
@typeZERO Do not worry, if you dare, here you are welcome. We can even make a plane together for this challenge.
@ndfr623 De cuánta resistencia estamos hablando... siempre puedes aumentar la potencia del motor. Si me enlazas a tu creación puedo ver el problema y te indico mejor
@RAF1 Welcome back to Area 88 :D
@Texasfam04 Welcome to Area 88!
@CptJacobson jejejeje sorry planes must be differents
@Shootingstar07 no, any resemblance to reality is pure coincidence 😉😉😉
@ND40X ##**`Deadline 28 February 2020`**
@Shootingstar07 no, is not necesary
+1@Tang0five Thank you! If you have time do not hesitate, this challenge will be really spectacular.
@Hedero You can develop a new version of a previous plane, but I recommend it to be different.
@ACEPILOT109 This challenge os bases on anime series, named Área 88
@LiamW i use mouse
