Is there a specific setting for the mod that allows to see the parts at all angles well, instead of having it shine really bright on one side where it all kind of blends? So, numerically has anyone had luck with the best light settings for designer? Not color based, just light based. THank you!
How about a land based gun that shoots only the sphere objects, and make them really heavy and try to take out destroyers from land :P, put a camera that can be tracked if too far idk, sounds fun :)
@Ultra0 I think there is a mod too for really powerful ones :P So cannons as in the ones for tanks and such? Maybe for better ground targeting or something?
Feel free to move the gyro, remove it, or change whatever lol. Its not meant to fly on real life, so it took a little to tweak it right. So, if you get it to fly better, post it as an update if you want. Have fun with it. Working on the Tie-fighter 1st gen now :)
Tomorrow, I will be changing the lift off to vertical and switching out engines :) I want to achieve vertical lift and land without gyroscoping. Wish me luck!
I need to do landing gear on this one too, which will require VTOL switching, but the game doesnt disable the number functions realtime unless you are at zero throttle first, Sooooo, Im gonna have to improvise ;)
So, the wing function is the VTOL sys. Up makes the wings expand for fighter mode and for flying and takeoff, 0 VTOL to full down has the same effect of flat wing mode. Full throttle and standard lift (above 300mph because pitch needs worked on) and minguns are space. Have fun with it so far!
With the new one updated, Im gonna wait to do more until Planeacc does the landing gear :) But again no rush! Gonna work on others soon :) STAY TUNED FOR UPLOADS!

TO ALL: I would like to create an entire fleet of rebel fighters, empire jets and many others from the movies and the series. Then on a multiplayer map, people can do some kind of star wars no holds barred lol. Would be awesome! Also, working on an xfighter too. WIll update both asap
@Planeacceleration I just need to make sure I can put down you somewhere on it as a big help when complete. Do you or does anyone know how to reference others properly on finished builds?
@Planeacceleration Sure! Are you good at landing gear? You can roll with the back :) Remember they fold out from the front and the feet stay straight as it does :) TY if you are able to help!
@Zokowi I found by using the manual attachments instead of auto that I could place parts virtually anywhere. Thats how I did this one(so far). My thing of struggle is the landing gear lol. Got the front done(upcoming update), but 6 gear flaps in the rear is tough!

I just tested this with size 10 fuselage cylinders in 2 ways:
1. I used them as rolling mechanisms, where every quarter of a turn, they jumped off the ground, then back down (verifying the box shaped collision).
2. Dropping other objects of different sizes and shapes ONTO those fuselage cyliners in the same roatation, noticing they halfway float above the points lower than the tallest point of the fuselage (indicating a non-curved surface). When I then rotate the fuselage, they fall as a greater than gravitational speed in the direction of rotation (also noting a collision that is causing them to drop slower than gravitational force in free-air space.
This shows me that the entire collision system (excluding game-made objects independent of building) is a single or maybe 2 collision poly-base (i.e. square, rectangle only).
@BogdanX xml for motor useage? That is something I would love to do yeah! Thank you. Thats why I create my piston drive in the first place, to be able to keep rotating :P Can we edit those properties in the in-game mod or from the actual xml file? I can do both, just curious if in-game is possible since I don't know what the properties are named yet. Thanks!

If you need to, add more fuel appropriately in the right areas :P I just noticed the extra "boost" can suck it down
