@bspboy by the way, this is just one idea that worked for me, potentially try making your wings larger for the plane? and adding an elevator on the primary wings? (it needs to be inverted btw)
@Umbreon or the ride of the Valkyries? xD also, great to know someone else appreciates great music :D Oh wait! I know what would be perfect, A short ride in a fast machine by John Adams at least for one of the tracks
@Tully2001 I mean it mostly turned out that way. The whole design evolved from the Wonderweasel Race plane which you can still see on my listed creations. xD I also found this forum post online saying what makes a plane maneuverable. so In my first version of the plane I scaled up the wings of the original WW race plane. Then after that, it just got longer as I learned that the further back the tailplane, the tighter the turns it could pull... and so on. Then it just grew to the wierd drone-like thing it is now.
@Corvette cole you go into Sandbox, click on race against opponents. and then choose your plane and an opponent there. Make sure to tick computer controlled for the primary plane. @Tully2001 send it there? whut???
@Tully2001 The only thing is my plane is unlisted, Just incase... if ye get what I mean? Is there a way I can privately send you the plane? Also. I slightly changed my rear elevators and now it's a dead heat between which plane starts where. If I start in position one, my plane usually wins. If you start there... your plane wins
@Tully2001 Damn, if I race my RF-28 against your shooting star, it's really close. But your plane just has the upper edge...There's milliseconds in it.
@ViperGByt I mean I did what I thought was correct earlier. It says YOUR SUBMISSION and then has a picture of my plane underneath it... is that correct?
@BaconAircrafts C'mon seriously, is the link being there with the name airliner challenge not good enough for you?. I've already re-uploaded it once because I forgot to paint the other engine. The cockpit is so hidden away It's literally impossible to make it a successor... like completely impossible.
@BaconAircrafts Did you see my entry? I submitted it a while ago but it hasn't been added to the list of rated planes. just incase here it is again https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/sg10s7/Airliner-Challenge-Embraer-190-re-post
@typhlosion130 If we're talking about missing goals in the race your plane didn't miss any when I was testing mine against it? if we're not talking about that.... well... uhhh... awkward? xD
one other question for, well mostly the mods/devs, what happens if the two planes collide at the start? How is a winner decided then if neither comes out of the collision on top?
@Typhlosion130 thanks for the info on the old and new prop engines, but with my contest entry for this, I did experience a very very minor change in performance when I changed around the prop styles, I don't know whether I'm just being stupid but when I had the scimitar prop equipped I gained an extra 1 MPH in top speed. It's not loads, but could make a difference?
Just to clarify, what is the difference between an old and new prop? or how do you get them?. Are they just fitted to old planes before the 1.2 update? or.... idk?
@Destroyer5713 if your plane does not have a really awkwardly placed cockpit you can take the entire body and make it a sub assembly. Then download the plane above and once you delete everything in there put the sub assembly in, and re-attach a new cockpit.
@ShatterFox Oh no, I never meant it like that. I just meant, since you'd made that comment my level had gone up to bronze, that's all. XD sorry if that caused confusion.
@DeezDucks how do you mod blocks. For example I've seen many airplanes with widths of hull blocks as tiny fractions like 0.01 and I've always questions how this is possible (as you can see... I'm a noob). I've also seen blocks inside others where it would normally not be possible to do. Like propeller nose cones. Though I did attempt something like that here with my intakes. Is it done in the same way by attaching them, then extending the length of the fuselage block?
@DeezDucks I really like your version (much better than mine although i do plan a weaponized re-edit with improved looks) I particularly like how you've managed to make the cockpit at a slight angle to the rest of the body like the real aircraft.
@bspboy by the way, this is just one idea that worked for me, potentially try making your wings larger for the plane? and adding an elevator on the primary wings? (it needs to be inverted btw)
@bspboy uhhhhh...... xD wrong guy
@Tully2001 my plane has been on a bit of a diet and now also does a consistent 1:36 is this going to be very close?
@Beeack I know what would be really perfect, even if it were just to add some humour to the races, The Blue Danube Waltz
@Tully20001, your most agile plane ever, why not just kit that out with a prop engine?
@Umbreon or the ride of the Valkyries? xD also, great to know someone else appreciates great music :D Oh wait! I know what would be perfect, A short ride in a fast machine by John Adams at least for one of the tracks
@Tully2001 I'll remember that for the next tournament but for now... My entry works and well so it will do

@Tully2001 It's there xD Incase I havn't linked you enough times already lol... (Sorry)
@Tully2001 no, just
How do I send it there on a post of a twin wasp? xD

@Viper28 @Engineer69 1:39... :D simples...
@BaconAircrafts assuming this tie stands. How will winners be decided?
@ViperGByt I mean I did what I thought was correct earlier. It says YOUR SUBMISSION and then has a picture of my plane underneath it... is that correct?
@ViperGByt 1:30?????
Also, once oyu've entered the contest, does your plane just display on the side or i there something else you need to press to confirm your entry?
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/8zJM49/Airliner-Challenge-Embraer-190-re-upload-again Will this do? @BaconAircrafts
It was tough but I managed it.
@BaconAircrafts C'mon seriously, is the link being there with the name airliner challenge not good enough for you?. I've already re-uploaded it once because I forgot to paint the other engine. @Typhlosion130 yeah, I started out with a two engine design but then I switched to a three engine design for that extra edge.
@Typhlosion130 Well that certainly is good going, btw I really like the design. It's super maneuverable. and yours @Thefalloutplayr
@typhlosion130 If we're talking about missing goals in the race your plane didn't miss any when I was testing mine against it? if we're not talking about that.... well... uhhh... awkward? xD
@thefalloutplayr When I pitted your plane against mine on pc it didn't miss anything.

@Deusalgor, do we just leave links to our planes in the comments to post them?, or do you simply check the successors to this challenge?
@ShatterFox white did you say? :P
@ShatterFox For a white?
Time to post an entry, I think. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/sg10s7/Airliner-Challenge-Embraer-190-re-post
@Robbaviation123 oh I know xD I said I tried my best. I'll be honest it's really difficult to fly, like at all. But, feel free to try and fix it
