Nice tank! I was messing with it a bit and have a suggestion. If you reduce the working wheels to only 4, and move them far forward and backwards as they go, and also make the both true, then it turns more like a tank. Im building an airplane that can fit tanks in it and was thinking of using this once its done, with your blessing of course.
@LtJester, dont worry, your stuff is already top notch. As long as you build stuff that makes you happy to fly and to look at, then others will enjoy it too. I actually went to school for 3D animation(I highly recommend you look into it if you enjoy this game) , so the stuff I build on here is dumbed down a bit from what I would normaly make, which i find very fun. Its like a puzzle because im limited to a certain set off pieces, instead of simply making what I need. Dont worry about ratings, just make it as true to the original as possible and others will notice.
Excellent! I just came accross this bird the other day and thought it was neato. Very good job on the design, im rating it without even flying it because it looks amazing. A+ Madame.
@CmdrAlex, you rock man. Thanks for the input, it makes me happy to know others are trying out my helicopters, because I really enjoy making them. If i was a pilot, it would be choppers. The issue with it rolling right i have fixed now and also lengthened the tail a bit so my Mk. II should handle a little better. With rumors of rotating parts in the future update, hopefully the main rotor bugs wont be an issue. At Least i will have the fuselages ready to roll. The mighty Hind is next!
@CmdrAlex, thanks for the rating and comments. Its nice to hear someone else is flying it, especially on an iphone! Ive tried it on my iphone and compared to my PC with a joystick, its alot harder to handle. The propeller getting stuck is rolling the dice, sometimes its great and others its horrible. I get lucky sometimes by sliding the VTOL slider up and it frees it. Just hopefully its at high altitude because it will roll like crazy. Ive got a pave low rolling out soon that has turned out looking like the real thing, but it flies like a projectile turd. Hope you get to enjoy that as well on your iphone, but its huge.
Wow, amazing job on the wings. For that mechanism alone i gave you a 5. And it looks great too. I just rocketed it into the air and marveled at its glory. Its one of my all time favorites ships from star wars.
Thanks skip, guess i should slap a computer only warning on it. I tried it on my iphone on medium and i almost couldnt load it. Sad because i would love to hear for you guys about the flying. Im jaded because ive spent so much time making it flyable that i love flying it now. I fly collective pitch single rotor r/c helicopters because they are so hard to fly, so i guess thats why i was so determined to master this models flying characteristics.
Hopefully in a update or 2 helicopters will be more handheld friendly. Thanks for the ratings gents, i spent a long time on this one just to make it fly. It is hands down my favorite attack chopper also, so I had to do it justice.
@thomasjaf lol, yeah this one pushes the power of my PC too. On medium graphics it seems a better on the pc performance, and i didnt notice a significance difference in the helicopters flying.
Yeah, its a stable as I could make a rotating blade heli. The blades serve no function except for making you believe its providing lift. With bigger helis to come there might be more stability, it seems the heavier the less they are effected by the blades. Thanks for giving it a try Teus and for the comment.
I compare flying this to flying a R/C helicopter. Very difficult to handle but once you get the hang if it then its fun. Takes some practice. I find the cockpit view the best for controlling it.
Excellent job with such a tiny model. Great to see the push props in full bloom. It just floats along perfectly. It would be cool to land it in the water. I guess you can abruptly.
That one word "awsome" you used to describe it is spelled wrong. Just like Pepsi is sad copy of Coca Cola, the same applies to your copy and my Corsair.
@Ambarveis, i have no answer for that, thats pretty random. Try detaching and reattaching it. Glad you like it otherwise and thanks for the feedback/rating.
Yeah buddy, way to go with the push prop. Never tried hiding props inside the fuselage. Fantastic work sir! Ive been waiting to fly this one, the roll is so so cause of the wings but it pithes like its on rails which is great.
This thing handles great, i love it! Nice to see the pushprop working on an awesome design. I would give it a 10 if i could. This thing isnt getting the attention it deserves.
When they make a powerful prop engine I sure will, but i like to balance the jet engines to match their real power. You want the real thing, go to an air show.
I enjoyed your versions the 262, im sure the 410 will be just as good. The smooth lines on those jets are very difficult to represent in this game, but i feel your approaches do a great job like the 229 @thomin
262 has been done a lot. I can give The Gloster Meteor a try, haven't seen much of that yet. Now that I've said that there will be a bunch before Im done :) I've fallen in love with the twin props now. They perform great in this game.
A-Mazing.....I love how it floats, it flies like a blimp. I say push the design of the wings to be shaped more like a big zeppelin, like the Hindenburg. A bunch of tiny square wings that together form a round shape. It would be painstaking like a ConSon build, but it would be awesome to see . Still amazing that it flies!
So Skip I mave have found a solution. Its a bit tricky, but if you get a med jet engine jammed in the middle, then attach a rear mounted prop engine behind it, then it has enough force to push it to fly and it looks like its a push prop. I built a crude concept on your build, but the COM is too far back with the medium jet engine that it doesnt fly. So the engine has to be pretty far forward to offset the COM past the COL, but it is possible.

@Jewel, thanks for the rating, glad you like it.
@AgDynamics, thanks for the rating! Were you able to fly it?
@samsonway, a 1 star for good?
Looks great, love the detail and paint job.

Very accurate replica friend, and even if it fell apart it doesnt warrant a single star rating. People suck, but this jet doesn't.

@Allstarship....we will see what the SP reddit army can do.
@Allstarship, Thanks buddy. I need some help on this one tho, I want it to fly better than it does.

@thomasjaf, thanks amigo!
@BoxGlow one of my all time favorite movies!
"Always keep one eye on the sky", I love it, looks very mean!

Lol @thanks, i ment @Carmen.
@thanks Carmen for the rating, im glad you like it!
wat?
This thing handles like a dream, and it looks fantastic. Best phantom in the game hands down. Also love what you did with the cockpit.
@Ambarveis, i have no answer for that, thats pretty random. Try detaching and reattaching it. Glad you like it otherwise and thanks for the feedback/rating.

Love the design, it looks fantastic. Keep it up.
Glad all of you like it, and thanks for the feature!
Fan-Bloody-Tastic!!!!
awesome, reminds me of those ridiculous firework tanks.
This thing floats in for a landing, I love how it flies. Very well balanced, didnt notice the pitching down till the throttle was cut off.
Thanks skip, you are awesome! Any luck on the push props?
When they make a powerful prop engine I sure will, but i like to balance the jet engines to match their real power. You want the real thing, go to an air show.
Gald you like it Cap, thats all that matters :)
Looks great as always!

Right, such a cool design.
Thanks geebers for the rating!
