Sort of.
I honestly can't get to my WIP cause the amount of time I would have to spend per session to make progress on it, let alone complete it, would take a very long time.

I have so many builds that I never posted because I’m having too much fun with them. Most of them are 3-4 months old

I am currently. making 2 things
EF-200 typhoon(alr gave it an air superiority loadout)
and The Su-35S(still figuring out where to put the countermeasures and the gun at)
and I'm over here dogfighting my WIPs and I'm not even working on them by much😂😂

for some reason making a cockpit makes every single plane fly like 30% worse, even though i always thought i disabled physics on every part
like i finally made a somewhat-realistic stalling plane, but the cockpit just made it unstallable again
So i often end up playing with the WIP version

there's gotta be some shenanigans you can do to limit travel, bumpstops or something. I think I saw someone use winches once.

honestly same, I love nothing more than my like weeks long 'testing' phase where I just use the vehicle for ages and occasionally spot errors of some sort

For me it's a combination of things, like playtesting certain features, and sometimes just messing around with parts (e.g. exploring the interior in VR, or playing with the FMC for 20 minutes) (this refers to my project of 3 years, the SWL-120)

for me its normal...... I have a lot of builds that are still in WIP because of things like i don't like hows it going, I don't have the time or i lose motivation, but i like to play with them while im not yet done lol

There is just not much to do

weirdly enough, I rarely ever play with my own builds, not when they are wip, nor when they are finished. I do "play" with them when Im testing if all FT and other systems are working as intended but other than that, I just build and publish them, then almost never look back lol
