I find that fewer and fewer uploaded aircraft are accompanied with descriptions of the build; particularly with new and newer users. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way but, the aircraft description is as important as the aircraft photo and the tags. For me the words 'no description' are kryptonite to my interest in the build and I generally do not upvote or download vehicles that don't even warrent the builders explanation.
If you spend the time to plan, design and build a vehicle, be proud enough of your efforts to describe the aircraft, the inspiration behind it or at very least give a basic description of the vehicle's performance and its functions.
Just my 2 cents. Stay classy SimplePlanes.
A lot of my planes are relatively simple so I put a small backstory for them.
Nods in Agreement
@Clawsome
Well done. Not sure why your post didn't get the same attention.
You're definitely not the only one
My descriptions are quite long and many people download BEFORE the controls come out
Completely agree, I made this comment on a cool build I saw today that didn't have a description.
@oDDDynamics every day. i look through the whole new uploads page. every once in a while i see something interesting.
I just don't see quality builds being uploaded.
Totally agree! Every plane I have had a self written description and a history of the plane if it's a replica. I make sure people know everything about it!
I agree 100% with you. With out a description the user is left to figure out the aircraft on their own. They are not sure if AG 1 fires the missiles or turns a turret and it can be frustrating. We also don't get the important information like "don't turn to sharply" or "use trim" and that could be very important to the user. I wouldn't like to figure out that the plane I just downloaded can stall very easily with out knowing that information before hand. Like I said I totally agree with you.
