If you ever think about playing war thunder, dont give in to buying a top tier premium before like level 30-35. You will be mocked for p2w from what I’ve experienced if you are low level. Also id advise trying to grind russia or USA, they are very beginner friendly.

Nostalgia, tier 6 is crazy for top tier. How this game has improved is incredible.

USA

Go to War Thunder wiki and learn about the aircraft you play. It will help alot better. Look at the specs for the aircraft you might face at that Battle Rating. Dont uptier your aircraft. For example, you shouldn't have an aircraft with a BR of 3.7, and have another aircraft with a BR of 1.0 (or reserve) in that same preset, unless you know how to use it. One thing you should remember, is uptiering. If the highest BR vehicle in your preset is 2.3, you can get uptiered to 3.3 aircraft. Same goes for all BRs. So, keep it narrowed down to 1 or 2 BRs that you are comfortable with.

Honestly, America or Germany is good. They have great aircraft.

War Thunder is a great game. You should play Air and Tank Realistic, it gives you more RP and SL and dont waste your golden eagles on things like boosting your research.

Well it kind of depends.
I personally started with Britain, since most of their aircraft are pretty solid all-rounders. however, i found that the climbing performance of early spitfires was pretty bad.
You can go with Japan if you want great turning performance, but they are pretty slow and you will burst into flames if someone sneezes at you.
America and Germany are mostly Boom n' Zoom nations, I started with Germany when i used to play on computer and the firepower is pretty good.
I don't know what to say about France and Italy... i don't even know anyone who uses them.

Italian Planes, Pretty good for any roles, But more at attacking ''P.108 w/ 102mm gun''

German Planes, Big and Op, Fw-200, He-111 (Fritz-X) ''idk on What plane is it''
German tanks, HUGE ''Maus, Tiger II(H), Tiger II(P) even panthers are about as big as Heavy tank''
Russian Planes... BIAS (Pe-8, Yak-9/Yak-7,Mig-15)
Russian Tanks... BIAS Too (TD have no Turret... Most liekly, Too Big/Long guns)

Do not waste time in the french land tree unless you research the t-2 tanks fast.

@BroAeronautics if I were you I would begin with French 🇨🇵 tech tree because there are few planes fo the moment but they are really good planes. So you progress faster, and you already have ultra good fighters.
Same about tanks.
The CCKW 40mm is the most enjoyable SPAA in dis game. At every shot you get an orgasm

I personally wouldn’t even start war thunder, not worth the 8 year grind to get a silly stock Bf109 and or Tiger I that can’t do anything
But I would go with russian stuff first

Um, I use the US fighters because all I want is the F-86. So the US I think is the best?

@PlanesOfOld Well, i haven't gotten into planes that much, but tanks weren't favorable in realistic

Play Russia first, the I-15's are very beginner friendly, and start playing Realistic battle as soon as your aim is good as it is more rewarding.
