AIRCRAFT INFORMATION
The VX-4 is a supersonic strategic bomber built by Vonteco Industries. The aircraft was built with 4 large weapons bays that allow the user to equip many different weapon configurations.
The aircraft is capable of supercruise and has a top speed of Mach 2.2 at altitude of 40K. The aircraft is equipped with 2 optical / targeting sensors that allow for quick target acquisition and high resolution recon images.
AIRCRAFT BACKGROUND/HISTORY
Ever since the F117 was revealed to the world aircraft designers have struggled to create a aircraft that combines stealth, weapons payload and high end supersonic speeds. The VX-4 meets all of those requirements and more. The aircraft has been under development since the 1990s when the the B-2 transitioned to active service.
The Department of Defense issued a research and design contract to Vonteco Industries in 1999 to test and evaluate future long range stealth strike aircraft. The contract was cancelled in 2005 when Vonteco entered the VX-1 , a aircraft that fell far short of DARPA program goals.
Vonteco decided to overhaul the design in 2014 and self funded over 2 billion dollars towards a redesign that includes a new airframe, large internal weapon bays, advanced avionics and stealth coatings.
The VX-4 offers the US the first supersonic long range stealth strategic bomber ( that we know of ). Vonteco Industries is currently completing necessary flight testing and looking to win a contract that will ride this aircraft into the 2040’s.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
AG-1: Opens front weapons bay
AG-2: Opens rear weapons bay

WEAPONS BAY INSTRUCTIONS
The aircraft is built with (4) weapon bays. Use AG-1 to open the front bays and AG-2 to open the back bays. Each bay is equipped with a cleaver missile and 2-3 unguided bombs. The weapons are assigned activation groups that correspond with the weapons bay doors and cannot be deployed unless the the bay door is open.

@Texasfam04 Sorry. caught up in school and IDK if i will be able to. Maybe sometime during break, i do have a craft to upload, but not likely anytime soon.
TY FG i appreciate that! Are you back playing again? I am just coming back myself after taking a few months off. @FGW2014
I regret I have not been active to see this amazing aircraft. Good job Tex, you're doing well.
Np man! @Texasfam04
TY for the vote and spotlight bud
@Strikefighter04
Yes @Texasfam04
TY! @SuperSix
Thicccccccccc
@Texasfam04 hey any time! I can't wait until I make a new challenge, everyone brought something interesting to the table. and on the extensions, there will never be an issue if anyone needs one, I understand life happens.
TY for the fair grading, Ive been reading your others and youre doing a great job while being very fair. I did want this build to be more but it was a tough month but i really do appreciate the extension you gave me. TY again for putting on this fun challenge! @LegnaK

Yeah the concept has gotten a bit boring especially as I have other much high end and graphically aesthetic games XD I usually like realism and or open world games I don’t mind survival either @Texasfam04
cool i will check it out ! i know what you mean about lost interest in this... i guess i havent gone that far yet because ive never thought of this as a “game”. Instead, ive kinda viewed it as a “ big boys lego program”. I think those that view this as a game can get bored very quickly because to me theres no game aspect to this. I recently downloaded a game called Darkness Rises on ipad... its pretty good especially for a free game. check it out if you like adventure rpg type games, I may look over your builds and see if I can make something special for you. @Homemadeforthepros
I make videos on sim games usually, racing and or flight simulator @Texasfam04
okie doke have fun either way. :-D @Homemadeforthepros
I won’t be active on my account anymore probably, no interests in the game at all you can follow me on YouTube @D3RP TV if you wish to, good luck!
I will take a look at it and see what i think. I typically dont do replicas mainly because I think its more fun to build from imagination. EDIT I checked it out and its beyond my skill to build. Its actually very cool though. it looks better than our B-2 i think.

Tmach5's Galactic Challenge? No I'm not doing that one. Rainier Aerospace isn't quite there yet with space tech.
TY for the upvote @LegnaK
TY Bud! It was a booger to work the flight controls out. This is the first build in awhile where I had to tinker with the engines a bit. I am going to focus on TMachs challenge now. I think I saw you were doing that as well right? Thanks again for all the help and support! @JohnnyBoythePilot
Awesome, what a beauty!
