Robinette-Class Destroyer
The Robinette class was a series of 75 destroyers built for the RNVN during and after the First Continental War. The design of the Robinette was the culmination of destroyer technology , and with it's performance and weaponry, it was considered to be one of the best destroyer designs during it's time. The few Robinettes to serve in the FCW due to their late introduction were eventually used to hunt down lone enemy ships and provide heavy anti-air cover for allied fleets and bases.
INSTRUCTIONS:
MAIN GUNS: They're dual purposed so they can elevate up to 85 degrees. They fire off flares(to show off the round) and chaff(for smoke, but it's a stretch). You won't sink some ships, loose some hips, or shoot down aircraft, but I guess they look nice. Now since they're countermeasures, they run out. So if you do run out of ammunition, press any of the AG.1-4 to reload. Don't press them all at once or you'll probably lag your device/PC.
Torpedoes: Pretty simple, only fire when the tubes have a clearance.
AA Guns: You can shoot aircraft down, although very difficult.
Controls:
Throttle= Throttle
Brake= Reverse
Yaw= Steering
Ag.1=Reload Main Guns
Ag.2=Reload Main Guns
Ag.3=Reload Main Guns
Ag.4=Reload Main Guns
Ag.5=Deploys aft torpedoes(though you can fire them individually)
Ag.6=Deploys fore torpedoes(though you can fire them individually), turns on signal/search lights
Ag.7=Depth Charges(though they're currently unavailable)
Ag.8=Radar
VTOL=Rotate all weaponry
TRIM=Elevate all weaponry
This be my finest build, better than anything I've built before. The anchor chains were supposed to be meshless rotators but they went crazy during the last test and I used fuselage parts instead to cut down the parts count, also why there's no inflatable life boats or other small details, part saving. This is one of my several summer projects and I hope you guys enjoy it. Based off the Gearing, if you can't tell, and Japanese designs for the funnel. If your'e a WWII ship enthusiast and find some parts weird, please excuse me for my actual knowledge on them is limited.
I do hope you guys enjoy
Edit: Judging by my previous ship, I for one did not expect more than 10 upvotes, let alone a feature. Thanks guys!
