Piper L-4 Grasshopper "Rosie the Rocketer"
'Rosie the Rocketer [sic]' is a modified U.S. Army Piper L-4 Cub/Grasshopper observation aircraft flown by then-Major Charles Carpenter in World War II. 'Bazooka Charlie', as he would later be known, became dissatisfied with flying as an artillery spotter, and so bolted six M1A1 bazookas on the wing struts of his Piper to rain hellfire on unsuspecting Panzer columns.
This is a complete blueprint-accurate redesign of my previous Piper. Features working side door, collapsible wings, functional instruments and, of course, Dakka.
AG1 - Open side door
AG2 - Fold wings
Trim - Trim Pitch
Stall: ~60kph/37mph
Max speed: ~130kph/80mph
Note: Due to the challenge 600-part criteria, this build does not include the grey-painted underside common to USAAF aircraft of the era. For that, please download this build.

Review
Excellent replica. As a ground-attacker and reconnaissance aircraft, it is average, but the build itself is very accurate to the original Grasshopper. Take-off is smooth and feels great, folding wings are awkward, but definitely very pleasing and make sense.
Now, I must admit I have to change my judging criteria as it is a replica build, but personally, this one is the best-looking airplane out of all for now, despite the airfoil's appearance. It does the role it is fit for, it performs well, except for the landing. Landing this thing requires some precision and care, which has no place in the mountainous and rough terrains of the Alps.
@AntiAirNuri I actually got to see the real life Rosie the rocketeer fly at a battle react ment some time last year
Yarnhub has a great video on this on youtube
Could you remake it cuz the Update is out pls
@LittleJerry lol I thought the same

Nice !!! An aircraft of the association where I go sometimes, a Cessna L19, have the same role than this one
This thing really doesn’t like to fly into water...
It’s a nice plane to be honest even though it turns to fast it is very slow with a 40 knots stall speed and can barely get over 100 knots
very nice build!
i did enter this challenge as well but
meh who cares
there
take my upvotes and spotlight
Wow! I made one but this looks so much better! I guess its time to up my building skills
@AntiAirNuri nobody cares
The body looks good, I only wish the wings weren't soo chunky.
Nice light aircraft . Great build .
@TatsuTheCleaningFairy This aircraft can at least land, and it is not as obnoxiously front heavy. What I really seek in this challenge is a plane that can take off from just any strip of land without tearing apart, and this Grasshopper performs better than the Bf-109
who will win: A piece of top german engineering or a weird kite with rockets
I love this plane
Ahahaha! The Rocketeer! Amazing
Ooooohhhhhh!!! Me likey!!!
