F4U-4 Korsar
Captured American Fighter

A classic naval fighter aircraft made by Chance-Vought. Mainly used by the U.S Navy and Marine Corps, the Corsair made it's debut in late 1944, where it crossed paths with the Imperial Japanese forces in the Pacific. It was extensively used as a fighter-bomber during the Korean War, and in the French colonial wars in Indochina and Algeria.

Through some circumstance, the Germans managed to capture an F4U intact and had it repainted into Luftwaffe colors, and was test-flown for quite some time before the start of the Third Reich's collapse, where it was abandoned and taken back by allied forces.

Though in a world far away, the parallel iteration of this fighter has caused quite the trouble in it's society, and is not remembered fondly..

2x 20mm MG 151 autocannons, wing mounted

2x 50kg High Explosive General Purpose Bombs
8x 127mm High Velocity Aerial Rocket, underwing firing rails

Performance Changes/Updates

• German conversion of F4U-4 Corsair
• Added rockets/rocket firing rails, simplified bombs and bomb racks
• Added War Emergency Power. Can be togged via AG2 FT code taken from Alisuchanka's Ki-43-II Hayabusa
• Wing folding no longer works due to complications with fuselage attachments and text image roundels on wings.
• Stock guns replaced with cannons to simulate better gunnery. You'll need more skill now to lead your shots properly onto target.
• Guns have accurate performance i.e muzzle velocity, rounds per gun, etc.
• Actual Yeet Bois.
