@GrumpyRacing Thanks, buddy. I went all out on this one. I was afraid kino would bust out a 20-second car, but I think I might actually have a shot at the W.
@GrumpyRacing sighing heavily well, thank you. Not the way I would have chosen to lose, but I knew it might happen. All of those planes are just so close in ability. A good night to you, sir!
@GrumpyRacing I do appreciate that, thanks. I think I've got a slim chance... I've had soft opponents so far, but every race from here on out is really tough.
Ah, I wanted this one to win. Easily the best plane-you even had a part to spare. I didn't see the races, but I think you must have been very unlucky. When I tested this, it really didn't crash too often.
@GrumpyRacing Haha. Truthfully, I wouldn't worry too much-I think the new plane's extra speed will just help it crash faster! Having a hard time getting consistency above 50%; I'll be surprised if it survives two rounds. It's a fun "specimen" plane, though. I'm actually loving the part limit, it's already made me much better at building.
@aircraftarsenal123 Prior to the last unlimited class tournament, Andrew had said that the unattached engines would not be activated. So it's not against the rules, it just won't work.
Tully's plane brought its A game to that final- two 1:36s in a row. Tough luck! With two runs like that, it would have swept any plane in the tournament.
@GrumpyRacing Thank you! I'm a little salty about that loss to Tully, because we split the first two races and collided on the third one, and he got the win... For the sake of my ego, I choose to believe that I would have won that last race if we didn't crash. ;)
@Seeras Well, thank you! But I'm afraid there won't be much to see... I haven't made anything interesting in around a year. I really just do the tournaments now, that's kinda my style of building anyway.
@Seeras Thanks! Sorry about that, but really, you never know-this plane is very wobbly and may be prone to exploding. It doesn't on my phone, but...you might just have a chance :)
@Pranav06 Haha, thank you! I'm surprised anybody still remembers those old planes. They seem lousy now, but man, I had a lot of fun with them. Once modded parts became popular, planes like mine kind of became obsolete, and I didn't have the artistic skill to make cool replicas, so I sort of ran out of things to build. I stopped playing for a long time, but got sucked back in about a month ago when I saw the new updates. I've been having fun building about 1 plane a week for the new tournaments. I always preferred performance-oriented planes over nice-looking ones, so the tournaments are a lot of fun for me. Plus, they give me a clear goal to work on...otherwise, I'd just run out of ideas again. :)
Ah, you tried to play it safe, and someone outran you... that is what I am afraid of! Although trying to go fast every time also has a 0% success rate so far... The only way is just to be lucky! :)
@GrumpyRacing Haha, thank you. I can't resist making them just a bit too fast and unreliable to survive. It's a losing strategy, but I'd rather crash out than actually get beat, so I will stubbornly cling to my failing methods.
@Pauciloquent Thanks! I never got it to go that fast... I always tell myself, "this plane will crash less and go faster when it's on PC instead of my phone". I thought I was just kidding myself, but maybe not. Anyway, it was maybe a little too fast... there was a version that only went 1:19, but was a bit safer. Probably should have picked that one! :)
@Pauciloquent Yes, the picture of your fast time will always be there to console you. As for making fancy planes, that is something I have no skill at... That's why I've been doing the tournaments instead of trying to make nice-looking planes like everyone else! :) I will probably stick with trying to make them simple and fast... even though every fast plane crashed out of this tournament really early.
@Pauciloquent Oops, we were writing at the same time. Haha. Yes, slower and safer is probably better... But it feels so wrong to make it slow on purpose!
@Pauciloquent Ha, thanks. It's all about that raw speed though, and yours easily outclasses me there (and probably everyone else, too). Besides, I like to be optimistic and assume that neither plane will crash...however unlikely that may be!
@Pauciloquent Yes. It's very similar to the Burt Reynolds plane. It crashes about as often as yours does, and it's a few seconds slower. Sometimes yours crashes into the back of mine as it's passing it. :) Here it is, the Lean Green Machine.
Very good! Faster than me by at least 2-3 seconds. I think that you will probably crash out, but so will I, and probably a lot of other slower planes, too. Hopefully you get a lucky streak. Well done!
@Nerdtronics Ha, thanks. I spent a lot of time playing this game about a year to year and a half ago, before people used modded parts a lot. I've had lots of practice trying to make fast, unmodded planes. Lots of cumulative trial and error.
@Pauciloquent Haha. Burt Reynolds is the name of an actor who played a character called "the Bandit" in an old movie called Smokey and the Bandit. That's where the goofy name comes from.
@Pauciloquent @Whitakcr Thanks! It seems my luck ran out in the quarterfinals-it missed a bunch of rings and then crashed. Still, I thought that would happen in the first round, so I can't be upset. Fun tournament!
@Zing2000 yeah, haha, I've been pretty busy and haven't been playing much. I'll probably stay busy and not upload too much anymore, but a while back I made this and a couple of other boats for boarding the carriers. I thought I might as well share them before I call it quits completely!
@Supertogo sorry man, it actually lags a lot for me, too. The curse of iOS, haha. You can use low physics, but in that case the elevator will probably only work if the boat is completely stationary. Sorry!
@Tully2001 @earthwormjim Thanks!
@GrumpyRacing Good luck!
@GrumpyRacing Thanks, buddy. I went all out on this one. I was afraid kino would bust out a 20-second car, but I think I might actually have a shot at the W.

@iiRazor Sorry, buddy. That's just how it goes sometimes. Better luck next time!
@GrumpyRacing Many thanks! I shall carry it proudly.
Thanks for the upvote...sorry I took your plane out!
@GrumpyRacing Thanks, bud! I put a lot of time into testing-too much time, really. And I'm afraid it might still just crash out. :)
I just checked out yours. It seems you're pretty solid yourself. Good luck!
@GrumpyRacing Ah, thanks. But maybe "stupid speed" would have been best. It seems I only got through one round! :) Good luck to you.
@GrumpyRacing salutes Yes, sir!
@StraightOuttaSnacks Thanks, buddy. Sorry I took you out.
@GrumpyRacing Thanks! You were very unlucky to lose the way you did, sorry about that. Your plane is objectively better than mine, that's for sure!
This plane is definitely a copy of this by @Quintasoarus
@GrumpyRacing I'm a bit late here, but thanks
@WhiteWing Give it a try then :)
@BeamrDevelopment looks neat. Do the "Tour" with it :)
Ah, I wanted this one to win. Easily the best plane-you even had a part to spare. I didn't see the races, but I think you must have been very unlucky. When I tested this, it really didn't crash too often.
I believe this is your second win...you must be either the best, or simply the luckiest. Maybe both. Whichever it is, well done! :)
This is great.
@GrumpyRacing You're probably right. But, despite the math saying otherwise, I'll continue to believe I have a chance. Good luck!

Hey, thanks!

Wow, those miniguns you added pack quite a punch! Pretty funny watching the bridge fly to pieces like that.

@Pauciloquent Haha, thanks. It's ok, it was expected. I missed watching it, but that's probably good-I would have been yelling at it for crashing! :)
Also, I just saw yours race-sorry to you, too. No luck for either of us today! :(
@Pauciloquent Ha, thanks. It's all about that raw speed though, and yours easily outclasses me there (and probably everyone else, too). Besides, I like to be optimistic and assume that neither plane will crash...however unlikely that may be!

@ThePlaneModifyer Sorry, nothing personal!
@Pauciloquent I haven't seen it in years, either, but reading the words "bandit run" over and over made me think of it. Fun movie.
@Nerdtronics Ha, thanks. I spent a lot of time playing this game about a year to year and a half ago, before people used modded parts a lot. I've had lots of practice trying to make fast, unmodded planes. Lots of cumulative trial and error.

@Nickasaurus Haha, thanks buddy. I'm glad I was at least a tiny bit helpful to you. It seems you've become quite good at this game, good for you!
@Zing2000 yeah, haha, I've been pretty busy and haven't been playing much. I'll probably stay busy and not upload too much anymore, but a while back I made this and a couple of other boats for boarding the carriers. I thought I might as well share them before I call it quits completely!
