@overlord5453 figured it would be easier to add something outside the plane to show what the wings are supposed to do instead of having to try and look inside it
@overlord5453 currently both, as long as it does what its supposed to though, im noy really concerned with how it does it lol, been trying to make this work for 2 years
@overlord5453 i mean like a more complicated variable sweep, but its basically acting like its not connected. the movement works when the aircraft is on the ground butnit cant support itself in flight. will include a seperate demonstrator to show what the end goal is ofc since its hard to see inside the aircraft
here, i made an accurate one
<size=100%><pos=0%>Mach: {IAS/343;#0.00}
you dont need to do all of that extra math, the game accounts for altitude on its own to give you your IAS, all you have to do is divide the IAS by 343m/s to give you mach, it has been tested
@PapaKernels jeez man, thats weird tbh, my pho e is a Galaxy J7 Sky Pro i bought several years ago.. from walmart😂 it was cheap but its survived longer than any other phone ive had, including my new one which is currently living in my glovebox bc it broke😂 old one survived construction, granite work, mechanic work, and being yeeted alot, new one, dropped it one time and its fubar
@PapaKernels check it out man, Bouncer Mk.II, Ive got a 100 dollar android i bought several years ago and it runs pretty well on it, so dont worry man, most of the parts are just the chassis lol
@PapaKernels definitely man, i think youll like it lol, its a flatbed 6x6, might add a few features to it, depending on what the part count ends up being, currently its in the 500s
@PapaKernels yeah im building another one, went with offroad independent suspension, thought about that last night went i built the first set of control arms and springs, its a 6x6, and the rotation points between the springs and their brackets are helping. theres hinges on the chassis side of the control arms, but the rest of the joints needed to be small rotators set to free spin because of how the suspension needed to be built, it works beautifully though
@PapaKernels i do appreciate the feedback, its been a bit of a pain trying to translate what i know about cars into this game, any advice or tips on any builds i post would be welcomed
dont get me wrong, its a beautiful build, very stable, just wanted to point out an issue i found with it, it may or may not be a fluke but its happened every time ive flown it so far
@Kvnfranks i downloaded it and took it for a test flight, got up to about 1500 mph and near as i can figure, theres a few panels that arent attached quite right, they started clipping through the fuselage and caused a catastrophic failure ending in the plane exploding
@PapaKernels i did individual engines because when i placed the main engine, it wouldnt let me connect it to any wheels, i was thinking of rescaling the vehicle to make it more realistic, and i still may, its not done yet, just uploaded it in case theres people out there looking to build something similar but either cant, or dont feel like putting in the groundwork, should be a reasonably easy base to build from, the suspension was my own design, the single spring on top being a later addition to solve the issue i was having with the suspension not having enough travel and not being able to lengthen the original dual spring system
Edit: i am fairly knowledgeable about vehicles, working on cars is a hobby and honestly hurts the wallet less than taking it to a mechanic
@PapaKernels this was my first build like this, alot of trial and error, testing, and figuring out how to get the control arms and everything to work properly, i still havent figured out why the rear wheels started acting up, but in all im proud of this build
@overlord5453 figured it would be easier to add something outside the plane to show what the wings are supposed to do instead of having to try and look inside it
@overlord5453 the thing on top is just meant to show the movement, but yeah i may have said rotators by mistake
@overlord5453 yep, been trying to get the wings to act right for 2 years lmao
@overlord5453 currently both, as long as it does what its supposed to though, im noy really concerned with how it does it lol, been trying to make this work for 2 years
@overlord5453 tried that, as well as increasing the mass of the rotators/control bases, and adding damperMultiplier

@overlord5453 not a control surface, literally the entire wing lol
@OrionIndustries another great build from ya bro, glad i had the chance to test it!!
+1holy shit the excal is aliveeeeee wicked bro
+1downloading immediately
damn, i just finished building the first of a hypersonic deep strike fighter lmao... but mach 9.27 in interceptor mode is a bit much XD
+1wicked man

@LeaveUsAlone add like 24 random ass buttons somewhere in the plane lol, just hide em
@Jsbdbdjsjshbsb android doesnt allow mods
+4@steinasaga26 did you make sure that the base is the only thing connected to the build? that fixed the issue for me
+1Nice car man, shes a beauty

@PapaKernels yeah, im gonna have to use XML for that lol
+1btw, front end rides a bit low, might need to go into XML to fix it, it still works fine though
@PAPAKERNELS
@PapaKernels i think youll like it ;)

@PapaKernels ive played around with it a bit, but so far ive kept it pretty basic till i figure out what stuff does
@Kvnfranks good to know, ill give it a try

my friend, it has some kinks😂

+1@PapaKernels thx, took around 30 hours
+1@idk201011323 i try lol, stay tuned for my next build, its a little less violent😉
