The rear tail rudder is out of sync. I forget if they were all reversed, or of some were, but I had to reset all the rudders to make it work right. Very cool plane though.
This is a beautiful little plane! I’ve made a few changes, mainly to the look, and by adding a 3 blade prop, and throwing in a couple of gyros and boy it’s lovely. It’s so simple, so stable, so easy and fun. It lifts off under 100kph, and it seems like it’ll lift off in its own wheelbase it’s so agile! I absolutely love it.
This is awesome bro, it even feels like a modern mad max car. It looks tuff as hell. I’m gonna put a tank turret on the roof and add some more boom boom
I bumped up the horsepower to 850 and now take off is only about the length of the craft, so personally I’d advise doing that, if you don’t care too much about the crafts realism. Once it’s up, it flies really nicely.
It looks pretty cool but it’s real slow because the prop blades are too short. If you put the wing landing gear back more and made it a tail dragger you could use longer prop blades and move it quicker.
The XJ220, specifically this colour XJ220 has been my dream car from the very first time I saw one. I’ll never be able to own one, I’ll likely never even drive one, so to be able to have a very nicely made model on my phone is a win. Excellent job, by far my favourite car on here, it’s beautiful.
Thanks man! Your design was awesome, it has a really nice flow to it! I didn’t realise it was done so long ago, it’s lucky I even found it by the sounds. Glad you like it man, it wouldn’t have been possible without your car. @MasterKiryu
I had that too. What happens is there is 2 front wheels. You can remove the left wheel, (looking from the front) and then get another wheel from landing gear, then rotate it 180 so the nub is facing the landing gear, align it so it makes one complete wheel, then use add connection to join it to the landing gear. @Alpha1Omega0
Na dude that takes off. I just took off 3 times from a runway. Pull stick back straight away and it will start to wobble a little but if you gently straighten out with roll, or ride it out it will get up.
I changed it to have 3 BFE’s, extra fuel and made it fly right as well as some cosmetic stuff and it had auto credited. How much more would I need to do besides changing almost every aspect?
Ok so you have an upper and lower control arm like you’d find on many front ends, but the issue you have is the upper and lower control arms and the shock is moving together. On a car you’ll find the shock is connected to the LCA but then mounted solid on the top. Sometimes in a strut tower, sometimes there is a plate in the UCA that it bolts to.
If you were to make the UCA solid, or remove it completely, your design would work, and would be like a McPherson strut front end design which 90% of all modern cars now have.
Can you be more specific please? I’ve checked the rules and don’t see any that apply. It’s a modified aircraft with new engines, bigger fuel and modified paint, there is nothing vulgar, and it’s not named after a youtuber, I merely mentioned Hush Kit as they had previously done a segment on this plane. @Tully2001
It feels like only the pitch control works. There’s no yaw at all and a super tiny amount of roll. I could barely have it move anywhere besides up or down.
I love this. It’s such a nice plane, however I have spent the last 30mins trying to connect the left rudder pedal so that it moves like the right one and I can’t do it lol.
I’ve just downloaded this and I’ve made a few changes to it that probably makes it look a little better while still functioning and I’ll add a cab to it for you.
Ok. I believe I’ve made some improvements. Unfortunately, it still won’t lift from water. It seems to be a double edge sword. The undercarriage adds drag, but it also acts like a rudder to keep it safe. The floats add drag, even after I modified the end to create less drag, but no float, it’s unstable. Stripped down, the fastest speed I managed was about 179kph. I thought about adding a ski just behind the front wheel, that would lift the nose slightly, but I couldn’t figure it out as a quick fix, and making one and adding it kinda defeats the purpose.
If there was a bit of weight just behind the rear landing gear, it might lift the nose just enough. I’m going to try that out now. I’ll also try adding some lift control to the wings just to get some of the body up.
With regular flying it’s remarkably better. Still nose heavy but the wings provide enough lift to control it. It’s not as pretty as it was, the floats are fixed for now, but it’s coming along.
Michael! MICHAEL!!

+1The guy says it’s a modified version of the car he posted earlier. Same guy posted both. @27edsalla
+1Amazing looking plane. It needs a little more power though I think.
+1This is a beautiful little plane! I’ve made a few changes, mainly to the look, and by adding a 3 blade prop, and throwing in a couple of gyros and boy it’s lovely. +1Wow. This plane is marvellous!! It flies so easily and is just stunning to look at. I think it’s my favourite that I’ve ever flown.
+1That’s awesome! It’s super detailed and so much fun to fly!
+1Wow, this plane is stunning! It’s so easy to fly and behaves very predictably and smooth. Well done, super plane!
+1Hey friend, I did some modz and it flies a lot nicer. I’ll upload and put your name
+1That looks to have done it! Thanks! I needed to reorganise the planes I had anyway, so many I didn’t use.
+1This is awesome bro, it even feels like a modern mad max car. It looks tuff as hell. I’m gonna put a tank turret on the roof and add some more boom boom
+1Damn man, landing gear is falling off and it’s got basically zero lift.
+1Oh nice! Mine is a mod of the car based on yours. Looks like your 57 is a grand dad car now. @MrSilverWolf
+1This thing is magic.
+1This is a really cool little thing!
I bumped up the horsepower to 850 and now take off is only about the length of the craft, so personally I’d advise doing that, if you don’t care too much about the crafts realism. Once it’s up, it flies really nicely.
A real fun time to fly and I’m only a beginner.
+1I just changed it to a Blue Angles paint scheme, it’s a gorgeous looking plane.
+1I flew it, it’s just got no lift and incorrect wheel placement.
+1It looks pretty cool but it’s real slow because the prop blades are too short. If you put the wing landing gear back more and made it a tail dragger you could use longer prop blades and move it quicker.

+1I like to gamble.

WOW!
That’s what’s up toobz
Yes, a fan of anything with a motor and wheels. @captainhall
One of the most original, outright awesome designs I’ve ever seen!

Forza Ferrari! Tifosi Forever!!

Aw, come on. Who can’t love this
Yeah man I will do. I had just fitted it there as a temporary measure cause I was working on the rear section. @Memri
Nice! This is really really cool

I don’t think it’s exactly fair, but whatever.

Good work though, you did a great job.
Thanks a lot! I have just learned I can modify pieces length and shape so I hope my future planes come out more realistic. @SledDriver
What is group 2 for? If I press it on the ground, the plane levels out. Is it to steady the plane for bombing?
Can you be more specific please? I’ve checked the rules and don’t see any that apply. Yeah, it’s to be expected I guess. I just had an idea to try something different so I was just glad it got off the ground. @SledDriver
It feels like only the pitch control works. There’s no yaw at all and a super tiny amount of roll. I could barely have it move anywhere besides up or down.
Damn you can’t even throttle up without it blowing itself to pieces.
This is really cool. I love this style and this plane is the best one in this style I’ve ever flown. It’s really cool.
Damn man how much dead weight is in this thing! It doesn’t want to get off the ground or climb at all.
It says there are 62 cleavers but you can’t access them for ground attack. I can’t even see a weapon
I love this. It’s such a nice plane, however I have spent the last 30mins trying to connect the left rudder pedal so that it moves like the right one and I can’t do it lol.
Damn this is beautiful! I love biplanes and this is just so awesome to fly.
Race my biplane. Smooooookedyaaaa
I’ve just downloaded this and I’ve made a few changes to it that probably makes it look a little better while still functioning and I’ll add a cab to it for you.
You can’t use it without it blowing everything to pieces

It’s very nose heavy. As soon as it lifts it wants to come down. I thought it was me at first.
