Very speedy for a Reconnaissance aircraft. It has good acceleration and a decent engine. The aircraft can take off at low speeds and land very quickly thanks to the airbrakes. It generally handles well, and the machine gun is a very neat addition on the rear. However, the gears are too close to the propeller, making any rough landing a blade strike, or sometimes even the complete destruction of the craft. It needs better suspension and more distance of the propeller to the ground
Good plane! A decent handling, some good gears, powerful engines, and a hefty armament. It performs all standards moderately well, and it has lots of firepower. The details are simple but pleasing, and the rudder is good. Excellent job
The aircraft is definitely unique and wins in terms of uniqueness. Dirigibles! Never thought to see any in this challenge honestly. This airship indeed takes off and lands like no other contending craft, and the variable speed is definitely handy. It doesn't need to handle rough landings simply because of how versatile the design is. However, the slow speed of the craft and size make it a very vulnerable target. No defenses, no armor. It doesn't seem fit for bombing, but feels like a good Alpine craft. Good job!
Bombs blow up in the plane when launched, the plane is not centered on the gears, making it tilt when landing, and the propellers are too close to the ground. Strikes are often, landings are too delicate, and the plane cant take off from any mountainous terrain
Plane handles well, but there are some clear issues with how rushed the plane was. Flaps are inverted, like in the previous itineration making the airplane roll when those are deployed. Furthermore, a fatal flaw was discovered during take-off and landings. Propeller is way too close to the ground, making it impossible to not destroy it during these delicate operations. It needs revisioning
Airplane performs well. Maneuverable, good firepower and armament, excellent engines, and most importantly, checks most of the standards set for Alpine crafts. It has short landings, good gliding capabilities, has a decent gear, and some okay landing capabilities. Details are good, but airfoil could be improved with custom control surfaces. Nevertheless, I greatly enjoyed this aircraft. Good job!
Aircraft is an excellent fighter on its own, And handles itself really well. Sort of reminds me of a Hayabusa, but with some obnoxiously powerful armaments that take down any aerial and ground target. Flight is smooth, stall speed is very low, and definitely is an excellent aircraft. Take-off is short but very troublesome as it automatically yaws to the side, and landing is smooth but takes too much space. This can be countered with a slow approach and airbrakes up, and the strong gears are very good at absorbing impacts. Amazing creation, and good job!
The plane tends to heavily yaw on takeoff, making it impossible to get airborne from the ground Don't get me wrong, the aircraft is amazing, very well detailed, and it lands smoothly. It glides, meets everything, but I tried any Mountain point I have saved, and it just uncontrollably yaws on the side
While the speed is superb, and the aircraft definitely has potential as an interceptor or ground attacker, this is not fit for Alpine terrains. Takeoffs are long, landings are unfeasible in a typical Alpine ramp simply because there is no method of slowing down, and the plane stalls at 160mph. Landing gears are surprisingly good despite the lack of shock absorbers in the rear gears, but this is still difficult to operate if not impossible in any Alpine launchpad.
Airplane doesn't perform the basic needs for the Alpine group. Gears are short, so the propeller strikes the ground at any rough landing. The plane doesn't sustain flight at less than 110mph, losing altitude at such speeds. Take offs are too long, landings are not feasible in a 100m strip. This could be a good ground attacker, but it's not a good Alpine aircraft
This plane is a substantial upgrade. There is not much to say, as I can see it has some better engines and a way easier handling at low speeds and landing. Gears lack proper shocks still but are sufficiently strong, and armament is still not powerful, but moderately fair. The plane performs up to all standards and faired well in a dogfight
@TatsuTheCleaningFairy This aircraft can at least land, and it is not as obnoxiously front heavy. What I really seek in this challenge is a plane that can take off from just any strip of land without tearing apart, and this Grasshopper performs better than the Bf-109
Aircraft has good low-speed handling, flies well, and meets most standards. The design is very unique, and the landing gear doors are new to me. I like the creativity and the bold design, but I am very disappointed in the gear's performance. It breaks easily, they are not tall enough to avoid propellers touching the ground, and it's hard to land on rough terrains without the propellers blowing up. Furthermore, armament is sufficient, speed is excellent, but I suggest some reworking on the landing apparatus.
With how the devs designed an entire game surrounding the physics of aviation and the deep knowledge they must have on the subject matter, I think it's kind of disrespectful to just bash at them for the names of some airbases. It's just as if you bash at a gunsmith because they said magazine instead of clip, which we all recognize is unnecessary.
The rest of the points are definitely valid though. The map in general is very empty and lacking details. However, why not make custom ATC and buildings then?
Excellent replica. As a ground-attacker and reconnaissance aircraft, it is average, but the build itself is very accurate to the original Grasshopper. Take-off is smooth and feels great, folding wings are awkward, but definitely very pleasing and make sense.
Now, I must admit I have to change my judging criteria as it is a replica build, but personally, this one is the best-looking airplane out of all for now, despite the airfoil's appearance. It does the role it is fit for, it performs well, except for the landing. Landing this thing requires some precision and care, which has no place in the mountainous and rough terrains of the Alps.
Aircraft has been disqualified from the Challenge. It is not built according to the specifics of the latter and simply is built for a whole different purpose.*
The aircraft flies very well. Maneuverable, it has lots of lift, allowing it to fly very well at low speeds, and the light frame allows for quick acceleration. Armament is very good, however, it is unsuitable for dogfighting. The role was intended as an interceptor though, and for that, it works fantastically. Landing gears lack any real shock absorption, but the frame is light enough to be sufficient. Folding wings are very appreciated. Appearances and details are lackluster, but it performs its function well

No. It has nothing of the challenge
Make this a successor of my post

@AtlasMilitaryIndustries Noticed! Give me a moment, I am currently in class
Fuck yes
@TrojanAircraftSystems I would prefer if it was linked. Ask a mod!
Everyone knows I won anyway /s

Play the Pianoforte. That's all I need and want. But second choice would be the Bass.

@LieutenantSOT Wow, seems like a very ambitious design 🤨
+1That's a very good idea though, I have only seen small and nimble aircrafts here! Go ahead
