Superb. Most definitely the most accurate representation of the P-51 on this website yet. The wings are beautifully constructed and the details make it feel real. The flaps don't work for me, but i'm not concerned about that.
@PlaneFlightX watched your video, I’ll watch the rest soon. This is just the sort of teaching I need to take advantage of variables and save on activators. I wish I could have spent longer making this plane more interactive but if I did I would probably never publish it.
@TheLatentImage apologies for the late reply, yes there is an addition to the family this last year which is why I haven't been around much. Not sure she will like SimplePlanes though!
I guess they’re most famous for their use for Dominie transporting the female pilots back and forth between the Spitfire factories and Spitfire outfitters. No instruments were added in the spitfires when they rolled off the line back then so it was a dangerous job to fly them. @MEERKAT978 @GritAerospaceSolutionsLTD @Treadmill103
Hi All. Thank you for your concern. I am still here and well. As @WalrusAircraft said I have been very busy with real life. I also needed a rest from the game from over two years of playing it. The update looks amazing and so do everyone's designs and I'm sorry I've not been around to comment and up vote them. I'll be back soon, I haven't forgot this game.
ASEA may be interested in a joint venture in the future. Rocket designs will likely be internal projects, but a collab on a satellite or probe might be of interest. @CommanderSword
Yeah, I couldn’t get enough friction to stop movement with the parking brake alone. If you use the regular brake too just to stop the plane initially, the parking brake will do the rest. @CRJ900Pilot
Bit harsh really. It’s a 2.4 year old build way before the gyro was introduced to the game. At the time it worked very well, so I can only assume you’re not used to handling a helicopter that requires some amount of using the joystick. @SSPanther
There is some 3D thrusting in the form of hidden VTOL thrusters, but they’re only apparent at low speeds. I know this isn’t the same as seeing the nozzles move so I will consider making an update in the future. @VeldigTroli
I probably spent about a 10 days on it, the gears were the most difficult part. I want to add more details and features but it was taking too long to build. @F104Deathtrap
Thanks. I noticed that too, somehow connected to another part while I was making my changes and I hadn’t noticed until several days after I uploaded. @lemoose
I just come on now and then to try other planes, but then when I have the urge to build for long enough to finish something, this is the result. I’ll still be on off but i’m technically always around. @Planefun

+5@WalrusAircraft yeah, come back to build, all the new improvements have given me back the spark.
+2@PlaneFlightX watched your video, I’ll watch the rest soon. This is just the sort of teaching I need to take advantage of variables and save on activators. I wish I could have spent longer making this plane more interactive but if I did I would probably never publish it.
+2@Kerbango @Potato21 @BaconRoll He’s no good to me dead!
+2Activator 7 though, lol.
+2@TheLatentImage apologies for the late reply, yes there is an addition to the family this last year which is why I haven't been around much. Not sure she will like SimplePlanes though!
+2That’s my dog Alfie, he’s 11. @FastDan

+1A mobile app on iOS called Over. I use the free version. @yoshicraze
+1Thanks @A3 must be very cool to see these IRL
+1Good work. Could do with some improved pitch and less roll, and it looks great.
+1Well deserved, I especially love the detail around the engine housing. @F104Deathtrap
+1I did it all with a free version of an app on iPhone called Over. You can replicate most technical on Photoshop or similar equivalent. @Benkelmans
+1@AndrewGarrison none right now, it has a leek.

+1@BigCat245 Yes, it was chosen by the developers to be included in the update so now exists on everybody's game.
+1How did you change the transparency of the blocks?
+1@JoshuaW that would be appreciated, just starting to get the hang of FT but I have a lot to learn.
Thanks for the comments everyone, appreciated and nice to be back. I’m building more planes so expect something new soon.
Thanks @PxVector I’ll sort that in an update
Bery nice. Btw, working windscreen wiper: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/q31NL9/ASEA-Offworld-Explorer. 😁

Oh bloody hell, I didn’t spot that. @EternalDarkness
I will in SR2. @CommanderSword
Cool. Would be interesting o see. It fires bombs so if you hit anything too close the explosion can damage the tank. @Aaron2107
Sorry, I forgot to add the link before I released it, but too late to change it now. @jamesPLANESii
Based off the MiG-21 A-144 prototype? I was just in a discussion with someone today about it oddly. Nice build.
Thanks, the collage is a bit of a habit now since I did it on the Grob. @yoshicraze
Excellent craftsmanship. Favourited.
True that. I love the film though. @RamboJutter
Looks accurate , he has P-80 shooting star wings so to be 1:1 scale should be about 11 metres wide, technically. 😀
Looks great. A little unstable in flight, susceptible to flat spins, but fun if you know how to control it.
Thanks for the info. A shame I hadn’t figured that out before releasing it. Never mind, i’ll remember for next time. @Benkelmans
Thank you @TTHHSSSS

Thank you @Planefun , I really appreciate your comment.

Sorry james, i’m Not a Dev but I think it will come out is either Q3 or Q4 2018 and it’s a new game, not just an updated one. @JamesMakePlanes
I probably spent about a 10 days on it, the gears were the most difficult part. I want to add more details and features but it was taking too long to build. @F104Deathtrap
Hopefully more active too, i’ve been a bit absent for the last year. I guess I just needed a break. @SpiritusRaptor
Because it’s true, I haven’t been on for what feels like centuries. @JoshuaW
Nice work. The gyro stabilised turret is awesome.
Thanks. I noticed that too, somehow connected to another part while I was making my changes and I hadn’t noticed until several days after I uploaded. @lemoose
@JetKwan no plans to change the wing load. Wing load on the real plane is about 350kg/m3.
It’s hard to know for sure. I go through phases, and I don’t have as much time as I did before. @jamesPLANESii
Definitely, very excited for it. @Planefun
I just come on now and then to try other planes, but then when I have the urge to build for long enough to finish something, this is the result. I’ll still be on off but i’m technically always around. @Planefun
Great feedback. It’s been a while, i didn’t know you could set a rotator to activate on input. I’ll look into that. @EternalDarkness
Just like mine except mines the 123d and 2010 shape.
