@Schiefensnarglez Yep I was thinking about him too, but there are other very talented modders too. But MOPCKOEDNISHE could really add some very great stuff as a dev
@Sm10684 No because books usually don't use slang, you'd only see it if the writer would want to express that a character is speaking with accent, then would he write 'lemme' instead of 'let me'
Lemme is more commonly used on the internet, not really in books. No it's not a real word on its own, it'a just the slang version/shortenning of a phrase
@Sm10684 sigh
Alright, lemme explain how the autocredit system works:
In each plane's xml file, there's a code which consists of 6 characters (letters and numbers) when the vehicle is uploaded, the website stores this code and then when you download it, even if you delete the entire plane and build something completely different (like you did with your hauler) this code remains in the xml file, so when you upload your new build, the server will immediately detect this code and will autocredit it. So no, not the autocredit system is broken, only you are too lazy to click on New Aircraft in the designer menu, and start building from there. If you just start building based on a downloaded plane, the system will autocredit it. The solution: if you want to start a new build, click on New Aircraft in the designer menu.
@Randomdoggo That's not how things work here. People don't just reupload stuff without changing anything, that's just stealing (even if he credits the original author)
I mean, if he gets upvotes for this post, he would get those upvotes for absolutely zero work, which is not really fair in my opinion. I hope you understand my concern
Quick advice: in the upload window, you can set the visiblity from public to unlisted, therefore only you can access it (and those who you send the link to) via the 'posts' button on your profile page
@aerodummy It is... eh... Yknow what? I should be less strict with the rules cuz it eliminates creativity.
Build it if ya want. I might give it an honorable mention 🙂
@aerodummy You mean the Tiger turret on a fixed platform for training purposes? No that doesn't, as I stated in the challenge description, you can't make such a huge change as removing the entire hull
@AnoniMosu well eh, quite interesting approach on the challenge.
According to the rules, it should be disqualified because it's not authentic (The germans only built Ersatz versions for the Panther and the Stug III, and those were copying american tanks not soviets) and because the gunsight is unusable BUT I won't disqualify it because I like how creative the idea is. (It might get an Honorable Mention, but it broke the rules too much to get a placing)
Very nice build, congrats!
@AdlerSteiner I'm planning to make a whole series of WWII tanks, and the Tiger I. and its variants was the first step in this, but I'm already working on the next one
@Irobert55 each time I'm writing an answer to you I do a ton of research but the more research I do, the more I realise how complicated military designation is. I think only the engineers, working at military companies and the weapon historians completely understand which is called what and why. For us, it seemingly makes no sense
@Irobert55 I think the difference is because of the term "grenade" in it. Weapon systems that have the name "grenade" are usually "small" in size (smaller than for example a tank shell) and can easily be operated by regular infantry. A hand-held grenade, or a rocket-propelled grenade can both be given to any foot soldier to use because they are small, portable and not too difficult to use. A rocket-mortar however, needs a whole crew of people with special training (and in the case of the sturmtiger, even a whole armoured vehicle to carry)
So there's a difference actually because a panzerfaust or an RPG or a bazooka etc. are all small, hand-held weaponsystems that fire rocket-propelled grenades, while the Sturmtiger fires ammo that is technically a rocket-propelled bomb.
@HarryBen47 sure
To upload pictures:
- Get your pictures (screenshots, or download from the internet etc.)
- upload them to any picture uploader site (I personally use and recommend tinypic.com but you can use any other similar website)
- copy the link of your uploaded picture (on tinypic, you gotta copy the last link from the 4 that tinypic will offer you after the upload)
- In the description of you post, you gotta write an exclamation mark - ! Then (without spaces) you gotta write square brackets - [] and then (again, without spaces) you gotta write your link inside regular brackets - (link). It should look like this
! [] (http://i68.tinypic.com/j7gf1t.jpg)
{Delete the spaces between the exclamation mark and the square brackets, and between the square brackets and the regular brackets. No spaces at all}
@Stellarlabs yea mirroring screwed up for me too. So I clicked on the screwed up wheels and in the Fine Tuner mod, I put a - before the angle number, so itt put the angle into negative and it was all good
@Jim1the1Squid Dude, build whatever you want. Build the firstt thing you see, you don't need others to tell you what to build, it's your choice what to build. I for example have like 10 on going projects and have 10 projects which I have in mind but haven't started yet so I sometimes wish I was "out of ideas" because then I wouldn't start any new projects before finishing the others. Literally the sky is the limit in this game so you can build whatever you want. Build your favourite plane/car/ship/anything, build something unique, something new, something fun, build the first vehicle that comes to your mind. It doesn't even have to be a vehicle, you can even build a toilet if you wanted to. That's all I can advice. You don't need others to tell you what you want to build, it's all your choice.
@aerodummy sorry to disappoint ya but I wasn't XD but I just checked your profile and you have a new follower. your stuff is awesome plus I love Dunkirk and the Kingsman movies too! :D
@Sm10684 unfortunately I don't speak spanish XD apart from english all I know is a few words in german, russian and italian but I only know words and can't make any normal sentences, maybe a few a simple sentences in german but not too much, and I can also read the russian ciril letters.
@Mustang51 yea I kinda feel bad for that nearly 600 part count cuz I originally wanted this to be a very low part count so that it is accessible to more ppl but then I started putting more and more stuff on it and I realised too late that the part count got out of hands
Damn, it got 3 times more upvotes than my abrams in less than 24 hours while mine is up for weeks now.. where did I do wrong :( anyways, really great job!
In Hinduism it was the symbol of the Sun while in the western cultures where it is often called Hakenkreuz or Hooked Cross (in my country Hungary we call it Horogkereszt which means the same)
It was the symbol of good luck... well it WAS before Hitler and the nazis.
Hitler chosed the swastika to be the symbol of the nazi party because of these meanings and also because he was kinda obsessed with ancient cultures
Azta hétszentségit!!! Te olvasol a gondolataimban? 😂😂 Épp a napokban gondolkodtam rajta hogy megkéne építeni a Zebra 3-at. Imádom a Starsky és Hutchot, nagyon király lett!
@Marschall Being new doesn't legitimize uploading creations that are made by someone else, just because he is not skilled enough to build original creations. when I was new I didn't do it either. I think it's better if we tell him now that this isn't cool, than praising him for something that isn't his work. He should spend time getting skills in making planes and then he should upload his own, original planes or at least legitimate edits. This is just my opinion but I think, we shouldn't let un-creative, useless creations swarm the site and instead we should inspire people to create new, original ideas. I see you're new too so this is meant to you too, try to get to know how the game works and create something brand new, not just repaint or put a few missiles on other people's creations.
@agnanSatrio No problem, congrats for plat
+1Could you please mention me in the description as the original author of the turret. Nice build btw.
+1@Schiefensnarglez Yep I was thinking about him too, but there are other very talented modders too. But MOPCKOEDNISHE could really add some very great stuff as a dev
+1This is fantastic! This must get featured, great job!
+1Credit: the turret is from Kaqiusha321's M1A2 Abrams
+1I'm a simple man (...who grew up playing the HL games)
+1I see Half-Life related stuff, I press like.
putting memes aside, amazing job dude, amazing!

+1btw what map did you use for the suspension gif?
@FuzzyAircraftProductions He is probably american. In the US, they write dates like: mm/dd/yyyy
+1If I make Aang and his airbending staff, while carrying Katara who sits in a canoe therfore the whole thing being amphibious, is good? XDD
+1Wow ez de király! Hol lehet megrendelni? 😃😂

+1@Winstonlharambe maybe some other time, when I'll build a Panther
+1Wow idk how didn't I notice this until now. Simpleplanes didn't send a notification. Anyways, great I build, I really like it! :D
+1@DuckMint oh yeah, a really awesome map, I just wish it was bigger with more stuff like a town or a small lake or something ;)

+1@Strikefighter04 sure thing, just don't forget to tag me :D
+1@P0TET0Z because the Buzzard in GTA is strongly based on the MH-6 Little Bird, which is the modernised version of this helicopter

+1@Gestour oh sorry you misunderstood me, this was a request, I dont know modding XDDD
