We are in a match and your plane deserve to win more than mine (mine had a fatal issue when on enemy line) but I fear I will be on the "player" one and i'm afraid of this.
@Roswell I have no dubt about it. I don't think to be the first. But I think not too much peoples shared this "discover" with others. So, now some builder know it. And this was my intention. :)
@randomusername Yep, this or more bigger wings does more resistence when rolling they find air on the big surface. Or more far from COM is the air resistence when rolling. A lot of ideas have sense in real life, but I fear we are so far from real life that the phisic engine does strange things.
@RenxBlake The so called "Shakers" (they use a glitch about wing's vibration to create propulsion) and the plane based on rotators. Both them are legit in this tournaments, both them flies at any speed you want. You must only be sure to not miss rings, but in level flight you can reach thousands of MPH. My entry flies about 2400/2500 mph because faster is not compatible with AI. But nothing is against a 5000 or 8000 mph plane if you are able to balance it to made the AI capable to manage it.
At present I cant develope more mine because a mourning in the family, but belive me, some one will develope his entry untill he will do the course in less tha 20 seconds, maybe 15.
@RenxBlake Around half minute with 100% success is a time for someone that want spectate the tournament with a chanche of win. Over 40 seconds are too much for any hope, also for a 100% success plane. A 24 seconds plane that miss a ring achieve 39, and belive me, 24 seconds planes are in.
@WeSeekANARCHY nope. You must take note where the COM is when the plane fly nicely (I often plant a red stick on it, just to be sure, and remove it when I finish to add mass.) then put mass EXACTLY in COM. And be sure that the COM does not move.
@RodWan Sure mate, I know that is only for fun. No problem for the contest, unless every contender agree to made it valid (and I'm asking nothing to them). I don't want to be harassing, but if you enjoy to fly with it also, I'm happy to know what you think. I'm only happy to find another good player, with a lot of passion and tecnical knlowledge.
We are only playing a game, so... let's fun and enjoy ourselves! :D
@sandyshores Thanks. I'm going to relase a new version with more realistic speed (litle bit less) and a lot of payloads more. More dettails, foldable wigns for carrier's hangar storage and some issue corrected. :) I relased this for my birthday, so I have a time finish line and cant do more.
@AviownCorp is the SimplePlanes spirit: Learn from other, apply to proper design mixing with own ideas, and improve. :) And you are doing a beautifull work.
@AviownCorp this double version is an experiment. Same plane, same screenshots, no much difference in description. Let's see if people enjoy more the "mods" or the "standard" version. :)
@AviownCorp I have a "repulsive antigrav" fuselage that flies without wings, an old project you can find in my account that was the first I did with this method. Since then a lot of my projects have canard surfaces hidden in the nose or more surfaces hidden. :)
Yes, I did. Very smooth, usually planes with rotator based mobile surfaces have tendency to "dolphin" or to have a bounce when get the pitch imput, but this one is silk.
@Christopher2106 I must add a explaination: There is NO mobile surface, so TRIM is useless to balance the ship, unless you made the right manual adjustments. The VTOL thrusters are not mobile. They point only down, and the horizontal component is added with another engine.
@Christopher2106 the VTOL slider are set to center from autopilot. It does not work beter than TRIM as precision of tuning, but make it incompatible with IA.
I did it! I have a replica in the tournament, and it flies nicely. :P
+1I want this mod as part of the base game! Please, @AndrewGarrison can you import it?
+1This idea is fantastic. I hope will be extended to some other talented mod builder
+1@MEERKAT978 thanks, I will enjoy a report if you want. :)
My 1999 eagle transporter (about 1000 parts) is ok on mobile, or at least, someone tested and give me this feedback
+1@Mmdben I understand.
+1@ThatOneF15Eagle Thanks lot mate
+1I want to enter a NOT successor plane, so I link it here as requested.

+1@ColonelStriker :P ahahaha... they asked for them, but all 3 vehicles remains are stored at Groom Lake in the skunk works disponibility.
+1@Trainzo thanks man.
+1@GeneralDuckGaming1 hahaha :)
+1@methirasoysa123 Thanks
+1@AviownCorp My pleasure, mate. :)
+1Wonderfull, great work.
Meraviglioso, gran bel lavoro.
+1If you had done this you would be pretty good. Too bad you just stole it from me and repainted it.
+1@Chancey21 Your plane was a really good one. in the first four, I think.

+1@JohnnyBoythePilot it seem more a dolphin... or better, I think we can do a flying dolphin, now.

+1@Gestour your are the king of the mods. You have my admiration!
+1@WeSeekANARCHY nice. Try to reduce drag nudging pieces one inside other
+1@Chancey21 Oh, yes. Just modified some parameters and achieved 1000+ mph, is relatively easy if you don't think to real phisic
+1@WeSeekANARCHY nope. You must take note where the COM is when the plane fly nicely (I often plant a red stick on it, just to be sure, and remove it when I finish to add mass.) then put mass EXACTLY in COM. And be sure that the COM does not move.
+1@Chancey21 surely will not, I don't think Andrew want to code a new tournament software. :) And in the previous Eagle Pass it was not activated.

+1@AviownCorp i copied it
+1@CruzerBlade thanks, I corrected it. Probably I was too much asleep when I wrote it. :D

+1@AviownCorp well deserved. :)
+1@123Planebuilder I'm ONLY 44 years older than you, lol. :D
+1@AviownCorp BTW this plane seem gain very poor attention, maybe I did something wrong. Mmmhhh....
+1@AviownCorp Yeah, it was a very stimulating challenge.
+1Sharp as a sword... beautifull
+1@AviownCorp @BaconRoll thanks mates
+1@AviownCorp the better destiny for an abandoned project is become a free base :)
+1@AviownCorp My pleasure.
+1@kaaraabiner Yes, I'm Italian, from Tuskany.
+1@kaaraabiner You did a great work with the old parts.
+1@kaaraabiner Thanks lot, mate.

+1@Gestour My beautifull ignorance... I was convinced that a rev counter collecting data from "thrust" was easy. :D
BTW thanks again for the instrument mod and the pilot one, I love them.
+1@AviownCorp I agree. I posted it only to avoid the "you can do this in 3 pieces", but... :(
