@ImaCat i bought a used dell optiplex, a type of office pc and bought a hard drive, ram, and a graphics card. It performs better than my macbook I got last year lol.
ive jumped around from a bunch of different devices. I made this account on an ipad, then i got a mac book, and then i switched over to a windows desktop @ImaCat
runs smoothly on maximum graphics on my $120 pc. The planes are hard to turn, but then again it was made as a joke. Make the cockpit at the end the main one and mirror the plane lol
An aircraft variation like this versus a single prop sounds extremely logical and I too have no idea why this isn’t used. The only reasons I can guess why this isn’t used is that might possibly be the expenses of manufacturing two engines for this aircraft. Or in the chance that the operator slams into the glass at the front of this aircraft might be a ‘safety issue’ which could possibly be fixed by making the wire mesh thicker. People don’t ever seem to trust aircraft and there hasn’t ever been a huge market for them compared to cars. I remember being told how ‘unsafe’ prop engines were to jet engines. I’ve flown a 182 twice and they are a blast. This is a great idea and civilian aviation really needs an update.
Wow this is really impressive and satisfying to fold/unfold! Now I just need to stuff a dozen of these armed with miniguns into a bomber bay and watch a synchronized folding squadron fall and fly from the sky!
@Mustang51 Here is the new version with the wider wing base. I plan to make this aircraft fly like the real thing, but I don’t know much about XML modding. The real aircraft has a cruise speed of about 180mph but this only goes 140mph. How can I XML drag and weight?
I’ll see if I can make the wing size bigger without breaking the replica type look of this aircraft. It is very underpowered at the moment and does not fly well yet. I plan to make the fuselage weight lighter in the final updates on this but I am not sure exactly how to at the moment. Thanks for the feedback! @Mustang51
Questions: I’m hearing the left ramp is the one we are racing on. The pic above with the car on it labeled the track shows the middle ramp. Where are we racing?
@EternalDarkness yes. I will need to know how to make custom control surfaces. I’ve seen many planes on the site with them and the wings look ten times better.
I just realized how much the part damaged sound in simple planes sounds like the chicken stepping sound in minecraft...

335358 drag points! Spawned it at wright final approach and it fell at a top speed of 3mph.

Sounds good! I’ll experiment and see what happens!

Count me in, I plan to build a plane that runs completely off of water.
It just so happens that I am building a piper PA-44 at the moment lol.
Thanks for the help! I'll make sure to incorporate this into my projects! @niggelas100
Looks really neat! How can I make exterior lining and decorations like that?
Got a new Mac recently, looks really cool! Made it seem like the the ten year old one I upgraded from. 5000 parts is a lot.
+1I literally pressed the successor button about ten times and got to the frame of this car. Lol
Thx for the help @strikefighter04
+1@Strikefighter04 thx. One more question: where does the track end. Does it end once your car reaches the flat spot or the surface of the island?

+1Wow... I was surprised after that. It didn’t crash either!? Awesome explosion.
I’m in.
@EternalDarkness great! Thanks for the help!
@EternalDarkness Thx. I’m going to try the airfoil but since I am on IOS I can’t use the XML mod. Hope I turns out well!

I am going to create a Cessna 340 for this challenge. It will be my first post.
