Some tips for you when making an auto gyro.
1: always increase rotor vibration dampening to prevent wobble on takeoff.
2: while cyclic can be used for roll axis, disable pitch axis to prevent excessive rotor slowdown on takeoff and landing. You can slowly add more pitch authority once you have it flying without.

  • How do you mirror? 2.6 years ago

@ElevatorEnthusiast747 I mirror the entire thing twice from both sides. I don’t know how it works really but when I do that my planes tend to fly straighter.

I double mirror, on IOS, the plane physics can be uneven despite the thing being fully mirrored. In other words, despite being completely symmetrical, the plane can roll left or right. The only fix I’ve found for it is to mirror from one side then the other. Its now a habit of mine to mirror the left to the right then the right to the left because of that sill little bug.

Feel free to leave suggestions on how I could improve my creations and any issues you have found with my designs. Criticism is very helpful for improving my designs.

  • Yaw in VR? 2.7 years ago

Some planes will have a yaw control bound to the flight stick, most of my planes use it. Basically there is an option in the creator where you can tell the stick to respond to a twisting motion as well as pitch and yaw, though honestly I’d avoid using it as it’s very easy to set it off and you risk crashing your plane.

What does it mean if my aircraft is curated?
