@CycloneSP
Just a note, the reason there aren't so many wing folding joints, is because it's a lose-lose for the aircraft. The joints/actuators are heavy and do you really want your wing to fold in on itself if you put too much load on it? It lessens the strength of the wing.
I must agree with @LunarEclipseSP, something about those air intakes makes it look a lot like a bootleg Yakovlev Yak-141/Yak-41 :)
@WNP78
Thanks!
Another question,
I have: {GunRateButton != AcmCover?"<alpha=#FF><color=#FF0000>HI":"<alpha=#20><color=#000000>HI"} {GunRateButton != AcmCover?"<alpha=#20><color=#000000>LOW":"<alpha=#FF><color=#FF0000>LOW"}
How can I make it so if AcmCover is turned on then GunRateButton is turned on, when AcmCover is turned off it still displays LOW?
Sorry if this is difficult to understand, I didn’t explain it very well. ALSO, would you mind how I could use the same {value ? "" : ""}
format with which weapon is selected… if you don’t mind? :)
@AristocraticFeelings
It should be:
{(TAS < 270) & (AltitudeAgl > 0) ? "<alpha=#80>STALL" : ""}
Make sure you are using "" and not “”
I’ll go check that this works.
Edit: It works. And if I were you I would personally use AoA instead of airspeed, but you do you. Also, I would suggest lowering the stall speed WAY down.
@Robomo119E
I could give some insight toward the one you're developing. I fly in DCS, which I take as pretty much the real thing. It's as close as 90% of the world can get to a real F-14, so might as well use it that way.
@TheAviator77
Yeah, now looking at the picture again, there's no ejection seats. Definitely a mock up (or what I commonly see at museums since the sometimes the Tomcats had the cockpits removed after exiting service).
Soooo...
Sorry, but I have to nitpick this. It's what I always do to Tomcats on this website.
First:
The wings; what everyone gets wrong with the Tomcat (that or calling the RIO a WSO, luckily, that wasn't an issue). The wings should sweep at a higher speed, and not in a three position way. The wings gradually sweep depending on speed, altitude, and G. I also noticed some glitches with connections where the inboard portion of the slats on the port wing was connected to the spoilers. The spoilers also moved together when rolling one way (my guess is something happened while mirroring the aircraft). The slats are manually deployed with the flaps and tilt down, not just slide forward. The HUD is from a D, not a B I think. You can't really see the HUD in the A and B. Second:
More on the spoilers and airbrakes. The top portion of the airbrake/speedbrake is absent. The spoilers do not deploy with the airbrakes, they are separate.
Other than that great build!
I'm glad you made the wings automatic, that's a huge thing people often miss.
And for Pete's sake... Pete is Mavericks first name hehe

Ibishu Pigeon from Beamng.drive?

@Apollo018362
Oh course! Just tell what you'd like the cockpit to be like, and I'll start on it...soon.
@MonarchiiwithastolenMG
I am joining your ranks!
@Apollo018362
I love working on cockpits, I can help you with that one if you'd like. It's a cute little trainer, looks great!
Edit: My bad, didn't realize it's out already.
+2So what's this whole war about?
+2@SC2311
There a slats in all of the photos
@WNP78
Actually, it might be easier just to show you what I mean on an unlisted post, if that's alright with you.
@WNP78
Thanks!

Is there anyway to have XOR?
@EJBoss97
+1I don’t think you can change inputs on things like that.
@oldmate52
Tell me about it.
Anyone else do this on purpose ‘cause they hate the SimplePlanes AI?
If a kiwi birb eats a kiwi, is it cannibalism?
+1@JSTQ
I forgot that this didn't lol
I think a V but maybe make a small gap around it to act as an air intake. Similar to how the radial looks, but sleeker.
@JSTQ
Must be a Su-33 Flanker-D
@Robomo119E
Sure!
Wait... this is what I just bought on Craigslist

@Robomo119E
You sure? I'm a pretty harsh judge when it comes to Tomcats.
*Gasp!* My dream plane!
@42
Ohhhh! Now I see it! Didn't realize. Looks nice.
Did you forget to smooth the fuselage, or is it just SimplePlanes being dumb?
+1Not quite sure how this is sixth gen, but cool!
@Trainz448
+1I see what you're doing, stealing my ideas.
Lol no hard feelings, everyone thought that.
'MURICA!!!
I'm doing alright...
Finally, the X-32 air intake!
+2(...and the Su-75's)
@Cantedsight2
+1Something like 90%, 95%, or 99%! Crazy, right?
Om nom nom
Finally! Someone had the afterburner at the right throttle percent!
+1@GuardianAerospace
+1Would it be allowed to go for a ragtag style like a Mad Max plane? I'm not sure I'll do that, just an idea.
Single seater?! Now I don't have to feel bad about being taken... taken for granted.
F/A-18
According to DCS, the F-16 doesn't need wings!
Anyone gonna tell my why concept being spelled with a K?
Look, Ma! A froggy!
+4I am deeply unnerved by this thing...

Or Trim / x
@GuardianAerospace
+1Yup. I was in private, and then homeschool, but I could tell public was... less than great.
@GuardianAerospace
Just read your profile, you know why I'm upvoting this plane
@GuardianAerospace
I always forget to paint them!
This looks SICK!
Oh no, not the white landing gear syndrome! Glad to see I'm not the only one that has it.
+1I'll have to test this out later, then I'll give my input
