@Mustang51 I don't use joystick in simple planes, though I might start using one actually. I'd always figured the controls would be far to twitchy and there isn't really a need. Does sound fun though.
@Irobert55 The thing is that they fold these wings out into 'attack position' IN SPACE.
Making sense of things that weren't meant to make sense is hard but I have to admit really fun. :P
@Tully2001 The F-35 is undoubtedly an incredibly advanced aircraft. However, with all due respect I have to disagree that it's a great plane.
The way I see it, the cost simply doesn't justify it's function. Quality over quantity may not be the best approach in war. Essentially I'm arguing the US never really needed the F-35 in the first place and at this point the program has spiralled out of control in terms of cost.
It's a highly debatable subject, I may change my opinion on the F-35 someday, though in it's current state I can't see it being a very viable or valuable military asset.
One suggestion that I think would be simple to do and look nice would be bullet holes!
May decrease performance with too many though, so adding a despawn with too many or after some time wouldn't hurt.
It would look better with a nose gear instead of a tail gear and if it was a full, clear canopy. Then again, I know there are limitations based on the design. As for the flight issues, it seems to me that the CoT (Centre of Thrust) is very far forward, though I'm not sure if this is causing the flight issues. Good luck on designing your next plane.

Also the constant drop outs are widely known to most members of the site including the devs, hopefully a resolution will be found soon.
@Chancey21 I commented about this stick; it's a good option for it's price. Does seem a bit jerky for me though; is this a normal thing for this joystick?
Hmm, as far as dirt cheap joysticks go, Hotas X is £50 and has a throttle as well as twist yaw. Quality might be an issue; the input seems a bit jerky to me. There are a bunch of reviews on it on youtube, but all in all, a very cheap option, though if you're looking for a good quality stick perhaps look elsewhere.
0 mass is simple, however the not bending or breaking part could be difficult. Here's a wing with higher health and 0 mass. I also changed hinge distance to 0, I'm not sure if this affects wing flex or not.
Do you mean moderators and devs? If so, go into the users page in the ''Stuff'' section at the top of the site and there should be a 'Mods' button on the top right. Clicking it will show all the current developers and moderators.
If you mean you are doing a tiltrotor, then you should be able to build two wings and attach rotators to the ends of them. Then you should be able to attach engines to the rotators and be able to rotate them. Of course, the CoT and CoM have to be aligned or gyros must be used.
This was a pretty unclear explanation, it's something that I find quite difficult to explain. Good luck with your issue.
MiG 35?

+1@Irobert55 The thing is that they fold these wings out into 'attack position' IN SPACE.

@Minecraftpoweer I think some people find it easier.
Personally I fail to see how. :P
I use the keyboard for standard flying in orbit view. For aiming at targets I use the mouse in cockpit view.
Frame shift drive charging...

@HistoricBirds Oh sorry, you can tell I'm not an expert in xml :P
For looks? Hawker Hunter :P
+2I like to fly A320s in simulators though...
This wouldn't make the best promotional advertising for a tank...
+1It's modern, sleek and advanced... Oh and it's expensive...
+1Really expensive...
Cool? Yes.
+7Expensive? Yes.
Practical? No...
Hotel? Trivago.
@GenericWhiteGuy I thought we were just listing suggestions lol.
+1Then again, shooting the birds wouldn't be a bad idea to clear a flock...
One suggestion that I think would be simple to do and look nice would be bullet holes!

...we'll get 'em next time.
+1cough cough

Don't ever leave us for that long again! :D
+4@Minecraftpoweer …maybe…

I am detecting unhealthy amounts of sarcasm.
@jamesPLANESii The Hotas also has variable resistance which may aid in reducing jerkiness.

@Chancey21 Sounds familiar, hmm?
@StancyBoi I can't seem to find anything on users tagged as admins on this site.

It's an Me 163? :D
Turns out it wasn't my internet dropping out for once...
@Minecraftpoweer We wouldn't be able to guess it if it was :P
Also they stated it is Russian,
@Benderisgreta123 It's not like everyone going to abandon SP after SR2 is released, is it?
It almost looks like a stretched Su 25. This is actually a pretty hard guess!
So the closest aircraft I could find was the Tupolev Tu-16R Badger...
+1I'm guessing British for some reason, perhaps 1950 - 1980s plane. I'll need to do some more digging to find out...
I will now respond with this title whenever someone asks me 'Is that a cessna?'
Hey I saw you with this in multiplayer! Nice one!
Why not use xml modded guns?
I'm not very familiar with detacher guns, so I'm afraid I can't say anything on that.
You were so close to landing it! :(
@AdlerSteiner Sure, if you still need help, that is.
Cool!
Make a Hawker Hunter.

That's a pretty long bow...
Looks cool but also seems a bit flimsy in rough waters?
The engines on the old 747s are pretty cool in my opinion.
I'm assuming you mean contra-rotating blades. In which case, I cannot see which part you are struggling with. Could you please be more specific?
nyet comrade, all is well ))))))
Yeah, I've been looking at planes and had the website completely drop off connection, only to return 3 minutes later...
Cool! Maybe start adding a dihedral or swept wings?
Drag seems to usually be the culprit. Other than that, are you sure the lift is balanced?
