It is a nice first plane, though through your feedback posts, I listed a few things in my opinion could be improved. I am no expert builder, but hopefully these things will help improve your next plane you make!
I've been messing around with the wings for the past ten minutes and so far I'm pretty stumped. A few semi-adequate solutions I could think of are:
Attach the structural parts directly to the wing, so the parts flex with the wing; this could potentially be more realistic
Make the wing out of the structural wings except where you need control surfaces; keep normal wings to a minimum. There might still be flex however, just reduced.
Scale down the wings, hide them in the structural parts. Make sure the parts are thick enough to conceal the wings and the flex. The first example I could think of is found in this plane. (This might be the best method)
Although all of these methods aren't simple fixes, and there are probably better alternatives, these are the best I could think of.
'Made in China' this confuses me as this is a soviet tank? Was there a lease where the tank was produced by China then shipped to the soviets? I do apologise for my misunderstanding.
It is a good first plane, however there are a few things I found:
The control surfaces seem way too large; I am not sure, but this could be a source of the slight wobble during flight.
Despite the two inner pods being drop tanks, they don't seem to contain any fuel.
No steering on the ground - something that could be added?
And in general, slightly unstable flight characteristics, though this might just be me. Perhaps try moving the CoM and CoL?
Overall a nice first plane, though some things could be improved. Please don't take this as hate, I was just trying at some constructive feedback. Sorry if it came off as a bit harsh.
@BaconEggs Sorry, but the Fer de Lance certainly is not a good looking ship in my books. I guess I like the DBX and imperial vessels more. I do have to agree though, after looking at Dreadnought ships, that they are essentially flying blocks.
19.9k you've lied to me!
Nevertheless congrats! But do you feel like it's a bit pressuring, having so many people looking up to you? It's just a thought, something I've always wondered about the best builders on the site...
I've been there, does make me want to rant a bit. I know I shouldn't though, when a plane you worked really hard on doesn't get much recognition you just move on. In my opinion this website isn't about attention, it's about sharing ideas. I try not to forget that.
Please don't advertise on other's planes: you could upload a teaser on the forums if you want people to know about your planes - if you're lucky you can even get a spotlight! About the plane: it is nice for a small part count though some paint would be nice. Keep improving!
''Not that bad. But better than what the developers made'' This description doesn't make sense to me. It implies this aircraft is good, so surely it would be better than the game's P 51? Oh the aircraft, yeah it's ok, would make a nice AI plane.
I bought KSP a while back, and it's good. It's was a bit expensive however, so I'm hoping SR2 will be a cheaper alternative for those who either don't like KSP or don't want to pay the price.
Oh hello again, sorry about the crash. Did it happen soon after I left?
Is anyone still playing on multiplayer?
Makes me wish I got to know you better,
Farewell.

Pointy designs are always encouraged.
It's great, but I see a slight problem with building a plane with this. Perhaps if you asked NASA nicely for a computer?

+8Turned out well, but it needs a gunpod for more firepower!

Very nice, I really like the finer detailing on the outside.
@AircroftDesigin Thanks for the insight.
Interesting, I support this idea! Unfortunately, I am working on other projects so hopefully someone else will come and work on this...
I do want to know, how many people on here play elite?
Sleek, but it does make you wonder what they were thinking making this thing?

The first cockpit's always a big step!

disgustang
...but nevertheless, congrats on 525 points...

cool
I've been waiting for more British jets for quite some time on here.
Nice to see another one!
Oh and you don't need a gyro to keep the aircraft flying straight, there's an autopilot in game for that.
Reminds me of DCS World.
Yeah I was almost thinking they were alt accounts when I first saw the names...
+3Nice.
@CRJ900Pilot Looks like a Sea Vixen too...
@Teemous Ah ok. I prefer replicas of real life.
Excellent! I always enjoy a good AI plane.
It's actually a pretty cool concept.
Lots of Minecraft lately?
+1It means you need to ask a different question.
No problem,
So it's basically a budget E-3 Sentry?
Good, a bit slim though.
This is know as a Bunsen burner, isn't it?
Ok done! Link is here.
@OC3LOT1142 Ok, I'm working on it now. Hopefully will turn out nice.
Cool, but the colour and proportion could be better. Overall a pretty good plane.
So I put drugs on your drugs so you can do drugs while flying on a drug.
+5Bf 109 K 4.
So, the just the clover or the words and the clover? No promises, but I might give it a go.
well done, comrade ))))
Lots of people reaching platinum recently.
Congrats.
That's nice, I'm working on a spitfire myself actually.

It's good, but it's strange when an engine takes up nearly all the parts on your plane...
Back grille looks good!
