It is a good first plane, however there are a few things I found:
The control surfaces seem way too large; I am not sure, but this could be a source of the slight wobble during flight.
Despite the two inner pods being drop tanks, they don't seem to contain any fuel.
No steering on the ground - something that could be added?
And in general, slightly unstable flight characteristics, though this might just be me. Perhaps try moving the CoM and CoL?
Overall a nice first plane, though some things could be improved. Please don't take this as hate, I was just trying at some constructive feedback. Sorry if it came off as a bit harsh.
Well you have to consider the other games that people play too, for example Red Dead Redemption 2 came out yesterday. Not that the website hasn't been quiet recently, it is a bit sad... Hopefully when 1.8 finally does arrive everyone will check out SP again.
*whispers *kraken *when *your *self *joking
Sorry I just had to correct those.
And yes the whispers are quite a commonly known thing, though they do seem to be quite mysterious and quite frankly, creepy in a usually lighthearted game.
There are countermeasures which will develop alongside these missiles.
Chaff and flares provide adequate protection against heatseeking and magnetic missiles.
Whether this will be enough is a different story, but my point is that missiles on planes aren't an instant victory. Well that's just my view on the whole situation.
I am no master builder but I'll try to give some advice. It's kind of hard to see the issue without a clear picture, so this is assumption.
If the issue is that the wheels are not clipping into the fuselage, disable the gear part's collision or fuselage parts collision, via Xml modding or a really neat mod called Overload.
If the issue is the rotator, then you can try and increase the angle of motion, so that the rotor moves the assembly further.
Use pistons, to retract the gear further, which seems to happen on some of the landing gear on the real A380.
Sorry if this wasn't clear, again it is hard to deduce the problem with no clear pictures and only the teaser. If you are willing, there are some incredible builders and modders which will probably be able to solve your issue if you lend them the plane to fix.
Do you have the planes pre-made or nearly finished? Because 3 1000+ parts planes in 6 days is insane! You make excellent planes, but I was wondering how you got them out so fast.
Very cool! Looks amazing and is well armored. After looking at real life modern MBTs however, I have a few minor suggestions:
Gun doesn't appear to have horizontal or vertical stabilizer, something that could be added.
Turret cannot traverse beyond the engine deck, though this wouldn't usually be an issue.
What I assume is the gunner's sight on the left of the tank's turret seems to be vulnerable, perhaps a periscope would be a better choice?
Viewports? I don't see any driver or commander sights, so I assume the tank is using cameras. In which case, if the cameras were to fail the crew would effectively be blind. Perhaps add some backup sights?
The turret seems to be vulnerable to being shot trapped as is the Leopard 2A7's.
Though being shot trapped against other MBT's with high velocity guns is virtually unheard of, slower velocity cannons could potentially be shot trapped.
These are all minor critiques which I hope is useful as constructive criticism. I apologise if any of this contains misunderstandings or harshness on my part. Overall, a great build that I hope I will see more of.
Delphinus left us as well as EpicPigster and DarthAbhinav. I'm sure there are also many more users which left, but looking on the bright side: SP seems to be getting a lot more newer users now!
Ok so I did a bit of testing and I have to say: the wings look really nice! I especially like the window view. I have to pick out some things that bugged me though:
I assume you will add windows to the cockpit area, though I feel the shape is slightly off.
The elevators seem slightly too large, could use being a little more swept back too?
Moving onto the flight characteristics... There are a couple noticeable issues:
The acceleration is very poor. I believe this is due to the aircraft's insanely high drag of 42000 points! This makes reaching cruising speed extremely long if not impossible. Reducing the drag beneath 20000 should remedy this...
The plane is very tail heavy. On takeoff, which takes a considerable amount of time, the plane is inclined to pitch upward. This makes tail strikes very easy. The gap between the CoL and CoM seems rather far, though the plane flies rather fine.
The brakes are quite ineffective, stopping on Yeager's runway after landing is to say the least, nearly impossible. Reverse thrust seems to be quite weak?
Very high wing loading! 64.7ft/lb, I'm not sure if this is an accurate figure but in SP this means that a speed in excess of 190mph is required to simply maintain level flight. To reference, some sources cite the approach speed of the 757 at around 160mph.
For all these, I found the flap system to be very nicely done. Slats are also very smooth.
Well that's essentially my summary on all the things I think could be improved. Sorry if some criticisms seem unfair or unjust, these are just what I thought needed some adjustment: overall, really enjoy the plane you've got here!
You have to disable the fuselage parts collision. Seeing as you are on android, this could be an issue, as you probably don't have access to overload and accessing the plane's xml files on a mobile device is also difficult. I'd suggest letting a friend or user that you trust with a PC doing this modification for you, before handing it back to you.
I've been there, does make me want to rant a bit. I know I shouldn't though, when a plane you worked really hard on doesn't get much recognition you just move on. In my opinion this website isn't about attention, it's about sharing ideas. I try not to forget that.

+8Cool? Yes.
+7Expensive? Yes.
Practical? No...
Hotel? Trivago.
I really love the block part in this build.
+7While we're at it, why not be able to add custom sounds?
+7It's great, but I see a slight problem with building a plane with this. Perhaps if you asked NASA nicely for a computer?

+5You know the only answer you're gonna get from us is yes, right?

SR2? Looks like you beat the devs to it.
+5I really think you should consider crediting the original.
+5So I put drugs on your drugs so you can do drugs while flying on a drug.
+5A building somehow able to construct things 10 times bigger than itself.
+4I know there's the GPWS mod by Gestour but wouldn't GPWS be neat too?

+4A P-51 that actually looks like a P-51 after being tossed into a crusher.

+3@Marine Some things you could try:
Make the parts on the end of the piston massless.
Remove aircraft collision from the piston and the parts connected to the end of the piston.
Cry because I don't have any other solutions :(
Sorry about the problem, hopefully you can fix it.
+3@GritAerospaceSolutionsLTD Probably because they are...
+3Yeah I was almost thinking they were alt accounts when I first saw the names...
+3Why not kill all the birds with one stone and have the ability to add custom sounds?
+2Why isn't Simple Trains a thing yet? :(
+2hole is in left wing
+2Oh excellent! I was really hoping everyone wouldn't leave, after all I still have my going projects to work on... very slowly work on ...

+2Surely this is fictional? Nope, just WW2 German engineering I suppose...

I'm assuming then planes with creators that are 'anonymous' could not be assigned to a creator?
