    @Testin123 the cockpit is there for a good perspective and a crude windshield for the actual cockpit.

    Tom Hanks says thanks! My cat has dandruff and I thought that was peculiar. @Kevinairlines

    @ZephyrSystems I love prop engines over turbine, so be expecting your 247 as well as a DC-3 remake

  • Messerschmitt Bf-109E Emil 7.5 years ago

    Spitfire still better. However, wonderful recreation. WWII is a fascinating topic.

  • Dornier Do X to be finished 7.7 years ago

    @ForeverPie Oh lol

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 Thats why I wake up!

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 That will work

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 look up drone controller maybe and seek?

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 it will help, but you would have to get rid of the ailerons. Adding roll to a plane your learning off of can put you in bad positions

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 it depends. What is it called?

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 do you know how to fly a non-self leveling aircraft?

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    The controller is actually $60. Even better!

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 Yes, it is a cheaper approach. Scratch building can be a fun project to do. The hardest challenge is getting it to fly, unfortunately. You also have to know that the electronics you get are ones that will work well with each other. If you scratch build, you will have to get a controller as well. I think there's a new one on the market called the DXe. It's around $100 and will serve you well for a while. It has six channels, which means that you can add retracts and flaps.

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 I did have to save up for that plane. However, there is a much smaller version that comes ready to go with the controller and all of those goodies. It's $130 and self levels. It's what I learned off of so I'd definitely recommend it! Here it is.

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 it's modeled after the CubCrafter's Carbon Cub SS. The rc one is made by Eflite, and is called the Carbon Z Cub. Carbon Z is the foam it's made out of, which has carbon fiber infused in it.

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 Here's a video of it. I fly it more like a cub though.

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 it's actually quite fast. It has a big motor which is power hungry. That's why it has a 25 volt battery

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 it is. The struts are just for scale looks. There's a carbon fiber spar in there.

  • Dornier Do X to be finished 7.7 years ago

    @ForeverPie ?

  • Dornier Do X to be finished 7.7 years ago

    @NativeChief1492 That sound like I can do that. Just leave the list and I will get to it as fast as possible

  • Dornier Do X to be finished 7.7 years ago

    @MrSilverWolf good luck!

  • Anyone want to finish it? 7.7 years ago

    @MrSilverWolf lol, I'm guessing you live near an RC field like I do.
    Also, I'd recommend this. It's a ready to go with everything. It can fly itself and is what I learned off of. Just expect to invest thousands after you learn!

  • Anyone want to finish it? 7.7 years ago

    @MrSilverWolf wonder why. The 172 is much more popular

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @helilover03 did you see it? It flew over the southern tip when landing

  • I'm not dead 7.7 years ago

    @helilover03 yep

  • Dornier Do X to be finished 7.7 years ago

    @NativeChief1492 just a brief moment, wanted to get this out and let people know I'm not dead

  • Dornier Do X to be finished 7.7 years ago

    @ForeverPie I wish I could, but it's been too long and I've moved on to physical planes you can do anything with

  • Dornier Do X to be finished 7.7 years ago

    @saturn28 of course! It's open to anyone

  • Anyone want to finish it? 7.7 years ago

    @MrSilverWolf Is that your 172?

  • Dornier Do X to be finished 7.7 years ago

    @MrSilverWolf Here you go!

  • Anyone want to finish it? 7.7 years ago

    @MrSilverWolf I will upload a public post for the Dornier just in case others want to use it as a building base, rather than making it look scale. Also, yes, I am doing RC planes. Are you interested as well?

  • Anyone want to finish it? 7.7 years ago

    @MrSilverWolf Good luck! And yes, I left a while ago, around November if I'm right.

  • Tupolev Tu-95 7.9 years ago

  • Could someone that's a bit more literate in computers help me out here? 8.0 years ago

    This should run terribly....

    Just kidding! Quad cores with 8gb total should be amazing, you could run X-Plane 11 spectacularly!

    This is coming from a person with a 4gb ram.
